• DAY 175: Furkan 61-69

   Blessed is the One Who has placed constellations in the sky, as well as a ˹radiant˺ lamp and a luminous moon. And He is the One Who causes the day and the night to alternate, ˹as a sign˺ for whoever desires to be mindful or to be grateful. The ˹true˺ servants of the Most Compassionate are those who walk on the earth humbly, and when the foolish address them ˹improperly˺, they only respond with peace. ˹They are˺ those who spend ˹a good portion of˺ the night, prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord. ˹They are˺ those who pray, “Our Lord! Keep the punishment of Hell away from us, for its punishment is indeed unrelenting. It is certainly an evil place to settle and reside.” ˹They are˺ those who spend neither wastefully nor stingily, but moderately in between. ˹They are˺ those who do not invoke any other god besides Allah, nor take a ˹human˺ life—made sacred by Allah—except with ˹legal˺ right, nor commit fornication. And whoever does ˹any of˺ this will face the penalty. Their punishment will be multiplied on the Day of Judgment, and they will remain in it forever, in disgrace.

      Allah is praised for creating celestial bodies like the sun ("burning lamp") and moon, which serve as navigational and temporal guides for humanity.    The alternation of night and day is a divine mercy, allowing rest and productivity, and offering opportunities for reflection and gratitude.
      The universe is meticulously designed; its order invites humans to recognize Allah’s wisdom and thank Him.   
      Humility and gentleness: They avoid arrogance and respond to ignorance with patience and kindness.
      Devotion in worship: They pray Tahajjud, seeking closeness to Allah
      Fear of Allah’s punishment: They constantly seek protection from Hellfire.
      Awareness of Hell’s horrors: This motivates them to obey Allah. 
      Balanced spending: They avoid waste and stinginess, embodying Quranic moderation.
      The "Servants of the Most Merciful" are marked by humility, nighttime prayer, fear of Hell, and moderation in all aspects of life.
      The righteous avoid three major sins:
  
          Shirk (associating partners with Allah).
  
          Murder (except for just cause, e.g., lawful punishment).
  
          Zina (adultery/fornication).
  
      Those who commit these sins will face double punishment in the Hereafter and eternal disgrace.
      
      Allah’s creation—from the stars to the night-day cycle—reveals His majesty, while His true servants walk humbly, pray devoutly, and shun major sins, knowing that disobedience leads to eternal ruin.
