• DAY 326: Zumar 32-41

   So, who is more unjust than him who forges a lie against Allah and rejects the truth when it reached him? Is it not that in Jahannam (Hell) there is an abode for the disbelievers? As for the one who has come with the truth and believed it to be true, then such people are the ones who are God-fearing. They will have whatever they desire with their Lord. That is the reward of the good-doers. so that Allah wipes out from them the worst deeds they did, and gives their reward to them for the best of what they used to do. Is Allah not sufficient for His servant? Yet they threaten you with other ˹powerless˺ gods besides Him! Whoever Allah leaves to stray will be left with no guide. And whoever Allah guides, none can lead astray. Is Allah not Almighty, capable of punishment? If you ask them ˹O Prophet˺ who created the heavens and the earth, they will certainly say, “Allah!” Ask ˹them˺, “Consider then whatever ˹idols˺ you invoke besides Allah: if it was Allah’s Will to harm me, could they undo that harm? Or if He willed ˹some˺ mercy for me, could they withhold His mercy?” Say, “Allah is sufficient for me. In Him ˹alone˺ the faithful put their trust.” Say, “O my people, do at your place (what you are doing). I am to do (what I have been ordered to). Very soon, you will come to know who will be visited by a humiliating torment ˹in this life˺ and overwhelmed by an everlasting punishment ˹in the next˺.” We have sent down to you the Book for the people with truth. So, whoever follows the guidance, it is for his own good, and whoever goes astray, he will go astray only to his own detriment - and you are not responsible for them.

DAY 325: Zumar 21-31

• DAY 325: Zumar 21-31

   Have you not seen that Allah sent down water from the sky, then made it penetrate into the earth (and gush forth) in the form of springs? Then He brings forth with it crops of different colors, and afterwards they wither, and you see them turned yellow, then He makes them chaff. Surely in this is a reminder for people of reason. Can ˹the misguided be like˺ those whose hearts Allah has opened to Islam, so they are enlightened by their Lord? So woe to those whose hearts are hardened at the remembrance of Allah! It is they who are clearly astray. ˹It is˺ Allah ˹Who˺ has sent down the best message—a Book of perfect consistency and repeated lessons—which causes the skin ˹and hearts˺ of those who fear their Lord to tremble, then their skin and hearts soften at the mention of ˹the mercy of˺ Allah. That is the guidance of Allah, through which He guides whoever He wills. But whoever Allah leaves to stray will be left with no guide. Are those who will only have their ˹bare˺ faces to shield themselves from the awful torment on Judgment Day ˹better than those in Paradise˺? It will ˹then˺ be said to the wrongdoers: “Have a taste of what you used to earn.” Those before them ˹also˺ rejected ˹the truth˺, then the torment came upon them from where they least expected. So Allah made them taste humiliation in this worldly life, but far worse is the punishment of the Hereafter, if only they knew. We have certainly set forth every ˹kind of˺ lesson for people in this Quran, so perhaps they will be mindful. ˹It is˺ a Quran ˹revealed˺ in Arabic without any crookedness, so perhaps they will be conscious ˹of Allah˺. Allah has given an example: There is a man (enslaved and) owned by some partners having rivalry with each other, and (on the other hand,) there is a man solely owned by a single man. Can they be equal in comparison? Praise be to Allah! (The truth stands established). But, most of them do not know. You ˹O Prophet˺ will certainly die, and they will die too. Then on the Day of Judgment you will ˹all settle your˺ dispute before your Lord.

      The Sign of Resurrection: The natural cycle of life and death in the earth is a clear analogy for the Hereafter.
      The State of the Heart: The critical difference between the receptive, illuminated heart and the hardened, constricted one.
      The Power of the Quran: Its unique ability to inspire awe and tranquility and its nature as a perfectly consistent guide.
      The Horror of Denial: The helpless punishment on Judgment Day and the historical precedent of destroyed nations. (The image of using the face—the most vulnerable and valued part of the body—as a shield implies there is nothing else left to use. It is the act of someone who has no other option, highlighting total defenselessness. )
      The Parable of Sovereignty: The clear logical superiority of worshipping One God over worshipping multiple, competing deities.
      The Ultimate Equalizer: The inevitability of death for all, leading to a final disputation before the true King.
     
      Allah demonstrates the reality of resurrection and guidance through clear signs in nature, contrasting the enlightened, tranquil heart of the believer who heeds the Quran with the hardened heart of the denier who is destined for a helpless and horrific punishment on the Day of Judgment.

DAY 324: Zumar 10-20

• DAY 324: Zumar 10-20

   Say ˹O Prophet, that Allah says˺, “O My servants who believe! Be mindful of your Lord. Those who do good in this world will have a good reward. And Allah’s earth is spacious. Only those who endure patiently will be given their reward without limit.” Say, “I am commanded to worship Allah, being sincerely devoted to Him ˹alone˺. And I am commanded to be the first of those who submit ˹to His Will˺.” Say, “If I were to disobey my Lord, I fear the punishment of a great day.” Say, “It is Allah whom I worship, making my submission exclusive to Him. So, worship what you wish other than Him.” Say, “Indeed, the losers are those who (will) lose their selves and their people on the Day of Judgment. Beware, that is really the obvious loss.” They will have layers of fire above and below them. That is what Allah warns His servants with. So fear Me, O  My servants! And those who shun the worship of false gods, turning to Allah ˹alone˺, will have good news. So give good news to My servants. those who listen to what is said and follow the best of it. These are the ones ˹rightly˺ guided by Allah, and these are ˹truly˺ the people of reason. What about those against whom the decree of torment has been justified? Is it you ˹O Prophet˺ who will then save those bound for the Fire? But those mindful of their Lord will have ˹elevated˺ mansions, built one above the other, under which rivers flow. ˹That is˺ the promise of Allah. ˹And˺ Allah never fails in ˹His˺ promise.

      Comfort and Hope for Believers: Through the promise of unlimited reward for patience and the option of migration.
      The Prophet's Model: His sincerity, fear of Allah, and being the first to submit.
      The Ultimate Loss: Defined as losing one's soul and family on Judgment Day for choosing false worship.

      The True Listener: The mark of a wise person is not stubbornness, but the ability to discern and follow the best truth.
      Divine Justice and Promise: Allah's decree is just, and His promise of reward for the pious is certain. 
      
      Allah promises boundless reward for the patient and sincere believers who discern and follow the truth, while warning of inescapable loss for those who choose false worship, a destiny as certain as His promise.

DAY 323: Zumar 1 - 9

• DAY 323: Zumar 1 - 9

   The revelation of this Book is from Allah—the Almighty, All-Wise. Surely We have revealed the Book to you with truth; so worship Allah making your submission exclusive for Him. Remember, Allah alone deserves the exclusive submission. As for those who have adopted guardians other than Him (saying), “We worship them for no other reason but because they would bring us near to Allah closely”, Allah will judge between them in the matters in which they are differing. Surely, Allah does not guide anyone who is liar, highly infidel. Had Allah opted to have a son of His own, He would have definitely chosen anyone, as He wished, out of what He had created. (But), Pure is He. He is Allah, the Only One, the All-Dominant. He created the heavens and the earth for just purpose. He wraps the night over the day and He wraps the day over the night, and He has put the sun and the moon under His command, each one of them moving for an appointed term. Remember, He is the Mighty, the Most-Forgiving. He created you ˹all˺ from a single soul, then from it He made its mate. And He produced for you four pairs of cattle. He creates you in the wombs of your mothers ˹in stages˺, one development after another, in three layers of darkness. That is Allah—your Lord! All authority belongs to Him. There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him. How can you then be turned away? If you disbelieve, then, Allah does not need you at all, however He does not like for His servants to be disbelievers; and if you are grateful, He will like it for you. No one will bear the burden of someone else. Then, to your Lord is your return; so He will tell you about what you used to do. He is aware of whatever lies in the hearts. And when man is afflicted by pain, he calls his Lord turning to Him passionately. Thereafter, when He blesses him with some favor from Him, he forgets that for which he was calling Him earlier, and sets up partners for Allah, so that he leads others astray from His way. Say, “Enjoy (the pleasure of) your disbelief for a while, (then) surely, you are from among the people of the Fire.” Can (such people be equal to) the one who worships during the hours of night, prostrating himself and standing, fearing the Hereafter and having hopes in his Lord’s mercy? Say, “Can those who know and those who do not know become equal?” It is only the people of understanding who are receptive of the advice.

DAY 322: Saba 46 - 54

• DAY 322: Saba 46 - 54

   Say,  “I advise you to do ˹only˺ one thing: stand up for ˹the sake of˺ Allah—individually or in pairs—then reflect. Your fellow man is not insane. He is only a warner to you before ˹the coming of˺ a severe punishment.” Say, “If I had ever asked you for a reward, you could keep it. My reward is only from Allah. And He is a Witness over all things.” Say, “Surely my Lord hurls the truth ˹against falsehood˺. ˹He is˺ the Knower of all unseen.” Say, “The truth has come, and falsehood will vanish, never to return.” Say, “If I am astray, the loss is only mine. And if I am guided, it is ˹only˺ because of what my Lord reveals to me. He is indeed All-Hearing, Ever Near.” If only you could see when they will be horrified with no escape ˹on Judgment Day˺! And they will be seized from a nearby place. They will ˹then˺ cry, “We do ˹now˺ believe in it ˹all˺.” But how could they ˹possibly˺ attain faith from a place so far-off ˹from the world˺, while they had already rejected it before, guessing blindly from a place ˹equally˺ far-away ˹from the Hereafter˺? They will be sealed off from whatever they desire, as was done to their counterparts before. Indeed, they were ˹all˺ in alarming doubt.

  These verses form a powerful and concluding call to action for the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), summarizing the core of his mission and depicting the ultimate, inescapable reality the disbelievers will face on the Day of Resurrection.
      A Call to Rational Inquiry: The core invitation is to investigate the truth sincerely and collectively, dismissing baseless accusations against the Prophet.
      The Purity of the Prophet's Mission: He seeks no worldly reward and is wholly dependent on divine revelation.
      The Inevitable Victory of Truth: Falsehood is inherently incapable of sustaining itself against the projected truth of God.
      The Futility of Last-Minute Faith: Belief expressed only when confronted with the punishment of the Hereafter is rejected; salvation requires faith in the unseen during worldly life.
      The Final Separation: The ultimate consequence of persistent doubt is an eternal barrier from all redemption, fulfilling the warner's promise.
      
      The Prophet is commanded to challenge the disbelievers to investigate the truth rationally, affirming his sincerity and the ultimate victory of divine revelation, which will render their last-minute belief upon seeing the punishment utterly futile and seal their fate due to their persistent doubt.

DAY 321: Saba 31-45

• DAY 321: Saba 31-45

   The disbelievers vow, “We will never believe in this Quran, nor in those ˹Scriptures˺ before it.” If only you could see when the wrongdoers will be detained before their Lord, throwing blame at each other! The lowly ˹followers˺ will say to the arrogant ˹leaders˺, “Had it not been for you, we would certainly have been believers.” The arrogant will respond to the lowly, “ Had we stopped you from (accepting) guidance after it came to you? Rather, you yourselves were guilty.” The lowly will say to the arrogant, “No! It was your plotting by day and night—when you ordered us to disbelieve in Allah and to set up equals with Him.” They will ˹all˺ hide ˹their˺ remorse when they see the torment. And We will put shackles around the necks of the disbelievers. Will they be rewarded except for what they used to do? Whenever We sent a warner to a society, its elite would say, “We truly reject what you have been sent with.” Adding, “We are far superior ˹to the believers˺ in wealth and children, and we will never be punished.” Say,  “Surely ˹it is˺ my Lord ˹Who˺ gives abundant or limited provisions to whoever He wills. But most people do not know.” It is not your wealth or children that bring you closer to Us. But those who believe and do good—it is they who will have a multiplied reward for what they did, and they will be secure in ˹elevated˺ mansions. As for those who strive to discredit Our revelations, it is they who will be confined in punishment. Say,  “Surely ˹it is˺ my Lord ˹Who˺ gives abundant or limited provisions to whoever He wills of His servants. And whatever you spend in charity, He will compensate ˹you˺ for it. For He is the Best Provider.” (Remember) the Day when He will gather all of them together, then will say to the angels, “Is it you that these people used to worship?” They will say, “Glory be to You! Our loyalty is to You, not them. In fact, they ˹only˺ followed the ˹temptations of evil˺ jinn, in whom most of them had faith.” So Today neither of you can benefit or protect each other. And We will say to the wrongdoers, “Taste the torment of the Fire, which you used to deny.” When Our clear revelations are recited to them, they say, “This is only a man who wishes to hinder you from what your forefathers used to worship.” They also say, “This ˹Quran˺ is no more than a fabricated lie.” And the disbelievers say of the truth when it has come to them, “This is nothing but pure magic.” ˹They say so even though˺ We had never given them any scriptures to study, nor did We ever send them a warner before you. Those ˹destroyed˺ before them denied as well—and these ˹Meccans˺ have not attained even one-tenth of what We had given their predecessors. Yet ˹when˺ they denied My messengers, how severe was My response!

      The Psychology of Denial: Identifies the baseless accusations (magic, lies, innovation) that deniers use when confronted with the clear truth, highlighting that their rejection stems from arrogance, not evidence.
      
      On the Day of Judgment, the arrogant leaders and their misled followers will blame each other for their disbelief, exposing the futility of trusting in wealth or false deities and confirming that their denial was based on nothing but arrogance and delusion, for which they will be justly punished.

   Say. “Call upon those whom you claim (to be your gods) beside Allah. They do not possess (any thing) even to the measure of a particle, neither in the heavens nor in the earth. They have no contribution at all in either of the two, nor is any of them a helper for Him (Allah). Intercession before Him is of no benefit, but for the one whom He has permitted. (And those who receive a command from Allah remain fearful) until when fear is removed from their hearts, they say (to each other), “What did your Lord say?” They say, “The Truth.” He is the High, the Great. Say, “Who gives you sustenance from the heavens and the earth?” Say, “Allah”. And We or you are either on the right path or in open error.” Say, “You will not be accountable for our misdeeds, nor will we be accountable for your deeds.” Say, “Our Lord will gather us together, then He will judge between us with the truth. For He is the All-Knowing Judge.” Say, “Show me those ˹idols˺ you have joined with Him as partners. No! In fact, He ˹alone˺ is Allah—the Almighty, All-Wise.” We have sent you ˹O Prophet˺ only as a deliverer of good news and a warner to all of humanity, but most people do not know. They say, “ When will this promise (of the Day of Judgment) be fulfilled, if you are truthful?” Say, “You hold an appointment for a day that you can neither put back for a while, nor can you put it forward.

      The Logic of Tawhid: A systematic, logical refutation of polytheism, proving the false gods are powerless, possess nothing, and cannot intercede without permission.
      Rhetorical Triumph: Using a series of unanswerable questions and declarations, the Quran forces the opponents into a logical corner from which they cannot escape.
      Individual Accountability: A crucial message of relief for the believers, separating their fate from that of their persecutors.
      Certainty of the Hereafter: The debate is ultimately deferred to the Day of Judgment, whose reality is affirmed as an absolute, inescapable event.
      The Universal Prophet: A clear statement that Muhammad’s (sav) message is for all of humanity, not a specific tribe or region.
      
      These verses systematically dismantle polytheism by proving the false gods are utterly powerless, challenge the disbelievers with unanswerable logic about divine providence and the final judgment, and affirm the Prophet's universal mission to all of humanity.

DAY 319: Saba 15-21

• DAY 319: Saba 15-21

   There was indeed a sign for (the community of) Saba’ in their home-land: two gardens, (one) on the right and (one) on the left. “Eat of the provision from your Lord, and be grateful to Him - (You have) an excellent city, and a Most-Forgiving Lord.” Then they turned away. So We sent to them the flood of the dam, and replaced their two gardens with two gardens having fruits of bitter taste, and tamarisk and some bushes of wild lotes. Thus We punished them because of their ungratefulness. We do not give (such a) punishment but to the ungrateful. We had also placed between them and the cities¹ We showered with blessings ˹many small˺ towns within sight of one another. And We set moderate travel distances in between, ˹saying,˺ “Travel between them by day and night safely.” But they said, “Our Lord! Make ˹the distances of˺ our journeys longer,” wronging themselves. So We reduced them to ˹cautionary˺ tales, and scattered them utterly. Surely in this are lessons for whoever is steadfast, grateful.  Indeed, Iblîs’ assumption about them has come true, so they ˹all˺ follow him, except a group of ˹true˺ believers.
  He does not have any authority over them, but ˹Our Will is˺ only to distinguish those who believe in the Hereafter from those who are in doubt about it. And your Lord is a ˹vigilant˺ Keeper over all things.

      The Dynamics of Gratitude and Ingratitude: This is the core theme. Blessings are a test, and gratitude is the required response. Ingratitude leads directly to the loss of those blessings.
      Fitting Punishment: The punishment (the dam collapse) was a direct reversal of the specific blessings they enjoyed (fertile land), establishing a clear cause-and-effect relationship.
      Arrogance as a Form of Disbelief: Their sin was not just a lack of thanks, but active arrogance—believing their success was self-made and even challenging God's plan.
      Society vs. the Individual: While the society as a whole was punished, a believing remnant was saved, emphasizing individual moral responsibility.
      The Role of Satanic Temptation: The story clarifies that Satan tempts, but humans choose. His success in leading people astray serves God's larger purpose of distinguishing true believers from disbelievers. 
      
      The people of Saba' were given immense prosperity and security, but their ingratitude and arrogance led to their utter ruin, serving as an eternal lesson that God's blessings are a test and their loss is the direct consequence of disbelief.

DAY 318: Saba 10-14

• DAY 318: Saba 10-14

   Indeed, We granted David a ˹great˺ privilege from Us, ˹commanding:˺ “O mountains! Echo his hymns! And the birds as well.” We made iron mouldable for him, instructing: “Make full-length armour, ˹perfectly˺ balancing the links. And work righteousness ˹O family of David!˺. Indeed, I am All-Seeing of what you do.” And to Solomon ˹We subjected˺ the wind: its morning stride was a month’s journey and so was its evening stride. And We caused a stream of molten copper to flow for him, and ˹We subjected˺ some of the jinn to work under him by his Lord’s Will. And whoever of them deviated from Our command, We made them taste the torment of the blaze. They made for him whatever he desired of sanctuaries, statues, basins as large as reservoirs, and cooking pots fixed ˹into the ground˺. ˹We ordered:˺ “Work gratefully, O  family of David!” ˹Only˺ a few of My servants are ˹truly˺ grateful. When We decreed Solomon’s death, nothing indicated to the ˹subjected˺ jinn that he was dead except the termites eating away his staff. So when he collapsed, the jinn realized that if they had ˹really˺ known the unseen, they would not have remained in ˹such˺ humiliating servitude.

      Divine Bestowal of Power: God grants different forms of power and miracles to His chosen servants (David's strength, Solomon's kingdom).
      Gratitude as the Proper Response: The ultimate purpose of any blessing is to test one's gratitude, which is expressed through righteous work and obedience to God.
      The Limits of All Creation: The story of Solomon's death is a masterful lesson in humility. It demonstrates that no creature, human or jinn, has independent power or knowledge of the unseen. All are subject to God.
      Tangible Proofs: These stories provide concrete, historical evidence of the themes from the opening verses, answering the disbelievers' skepticism with narratives of God's manifest power in the world.
      
      God granted immense power and miracles to David and Solomon as a test of their gratitude, while the humbling story of Solomon's death demonstrates that all creation, even the powerful jinn, is subject to God's ultimate authority and possesses no knowledge of the unseen.

DAY 317: Saba 1 - 9

• DAY 317: Saba 1 - 9

   All praise is for Allah, to Whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And praise be to Him in the Hereafter. He is the All-Wise, All-Aware. He knows whatever goes into the earth and whatever comes out of it, and whatever descends from the sky and whatever ascends into it. And He is the Most Merciful, All-Forgiving. The disbelievers say, “The Hour will never come to us.” Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Yes—by my Lord, the Knower of the unseen—it will certainly come to you!” Not ˹even˺ an atom’s weight is hidden from Him in the heavens or the earth; nor anything smaller or larger than that, but is ˹written˺ in a perfect Record. So He may reward those who believe and do good. It is they who will have forgiveness and an honourable provision. As for those who strive to discredit Our revelations, it is they who will suffer the ˹worst˺ torment of agonizing pain. Those gifted with knowledge ˹clearly˺ see that what has been revealed to you from your Lord ˹O Prophet˺ is the truth, and that it guides to the Path of the Almighty, the Praiseworthy. The disbelievers say ˹mockingly to one another˺, “Shall we show you a man who claims that when you have been utterly disintegrated you will be raised as a new creation? Has he fabricated a lie against Allah or is he insane?” In fact, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are bound for torment and have strayed farthest ˹from the truth˺. Have they not then seen all that surrounds them of the heavens and the earth? If We willed, We could cause the earth to swallow them up, or cause ˹deadly˺ pieces of the sky to fall upon them. Surely in this is a sign for every servant who turns ˹to Allah˺.

      Tawhid : Affirmation of Allah's ownership, wisdom, and all-encompassing knowledge.
      The Hereafter : A central theme, establishing its inevitability, its purpose as a day of judgment, and the two distinct outcomes for believers and disbelievers.
      Divine Knowledge: Emphasis on God's detailed knowledge of all things, seen and unseen, which makes the accounting on the Day of Judgment perfectly just.
      Contrast between Faith and Disbelief: The clear distinction between those who accept the truth (people of knowledge and belief) and those who reject and mock it.
      The Role of Evidence: The Quran points to both revelation and the natural world as overwhelming evidence for those who are willing to see and reflect.
       
      These verses establish that all praise belongs to the all-knowing Creator, the reality of the Hereafter is certain and will distinguish the rewarded believers from the punished disbelievers, and the universe itself is a clear sign of this truth for those who reflect.

  •  Do you not see that the ships sail ˹smoothly˺ through the sea by the grace of Allah so that He may show you some of His signs? Surely in this are signs for whoever is steadfast, grateful. And as soon as they are overwhelmed by waves like mountains, they cry out to Allah ˹alone˺ in sincere devotion. But when He delivers them ˹safely˺ to shore, only some become relatively grateful. And none rejects Our signs except whoever is deceitful, ungrateful. O humanity! Be mindful of your Lord, and beware of a Day when no parent will be of any benefit to their child, nor will a child be of any benefit to their parent. Surely Allah’s promise is true. So do not let the life of this world deceive you, nor let the Chief Deceiver deceive you about Allah. Surely, it is Allah with whom rests the knowledge of the Hour; and He sends down the rain, and He knows what is in the wombs. No one knows what he will earn tomorrow, and no one knows in which land he will die. Surely, Allah is All Knowing, All Aware.
    (
        "The Hour": The timing of the Day of Judgment is the greatest unknown. All speculations are futile.
        "Sends down the rain": No human can know with absolute certainty when, where, and how much rain will fall. It is a direct act of divine providence.
        "Knows what is in the wombs": While science can determine gender, only Allah knows the child's ultimate fate, character, appearance, and whether it will even be born alive. This is a knowledge of outcomes, not just biology.
        "What it will earn tomorrow": No person can know what deeds they will perform tomorrow or what their ultimate fate will be.
        "In what land it will die": The time and place of death are hidden, making every moment a opportunity to prepare.
        
        The final verses of Surah Luqman deliver a profound conclusion: fear your Lord and do not be deluded by the world, for humanity is ultimately powerless before the five great unknowns of the Unseen, which are known only to Allah, the All-Knowing.

• DAY 315: Luqman 20-30

   Have you not seen that Allah has subjected for you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and has lavished His favours upon you, both seen and unseen? ˹Still˺ there are some who dispute about Allah without knowledge, or guidance, or an enlightening scripture. When it is said to them, “Follow what Allah has revealed,” they reply, “No! We ˹only˺ follow what we found our forefathers practicing.” ˹Would they still do so˺ even if Satan is inviting them to the torment of the Blaze? Whoever fully submits themselves to Allah and is a good-doer, they have certainly grasped the firmest hand-hold. And with Allah rests the outcome of ˹all˺ affairs. But whoever disbelieves, do not let their disbelief grieve you ˹O Prophet˺. To Us is their return, and We will inform them of all they did. Surely Allah knows best what is ˹hidden˺ in the heart. We allow them enjoyment for a little while, then ˹in time˺ We will force them into a harsh torment. And if you ask them who created the heavens and the earth, they will definitely say, “Allah!” Say, “Praise be to Allah!” In fact, most of them do not know. To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Allah is truly the Self-Sufficient, Praiseworthy. If all the trees on earth were pens and the ocean ˹were ink˺, refilled by seven other oceans, the Words of Allah would not be exhausted. Surely Allah is Almighty, All-Wise. The creation and resurrection of you ˹all˺ is as simple ˹for Him˺ as that of a single soul. Surely Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing. Do you not see that Allah causes the night to merge into the day and the day into the night, and has subjected the sun and the moon, each orbiting for an appointed term, and that Allah is All-Aware of what you do? That is because Allah ˹alone˺ is the Truth and what they invoke besides Him is falsehood, and ˹because˺ Allah ˹alone˺ is the Most High, All-Great.

     ---The blessings of creation and one's own innate admission prove God's existence and right to worship.
      ---Denial is based on blind tradition, not reason.
      ---God's knowledge is infinite, His power is absolute, and the system of the universe He created is a testament to His sovereignty, making both creation and resurrection easy for Him.
      ---Therefore, the only logical, rational position is to recognize that Allah is the Ultimate Truth, and all else is falsehood.
     
      The final verses of Surah Luqman present an inescapable logical conclusion: the universal blessings and the flawless cosmic order are undeniable proofs that Allah is the sole Ultimate Reality (Al-Haqq), rendering all denial irrational and all worship directed elsewhere pure falsehood.

• DAY 314: Luqman 12-19

   Indeed, We blessed Luqmân with wisdom, ˹saying˺, “Be grateful to Allah, for whoever is grateful, it is only for their own good. And whoever is ungrateful, then surely Allah is Self-Sufficient, Praiseworthy.” And ˹remember˺ when Luqmân said to his son, while advising him, “O my dear son! Never associate ˹anything˺ with Allah ˹in worship˺, for associating ˹others with Him˺ is truly the worst of all wrongs.” And We have commanded people to ˹honour˺ their parents. Their mothers bore them through hardship upon hardship, and their weaning takes two years. So be grateful to Me and your parents. To Me is the final return. But if they pressure you to associate with Me what you have no knowledge of, do not obey them. Still keep their company in this world courteously, and follow the way of those who turn to Me ˹in devotion˺. Then to Me you will ˹all˺ return, and then I will inform you of what you used to do.  ˹Luqmân  added,˺ “O my dear son! ˹Even˺ if a deed were the weight of a mustard seed—be it ˹hidden˺ in a rock or in the heavens or the earth—Allah will bring it forth. Surely Allah is Most Subtle, All-Aware. “O my dear son! Establish prayer, encourage what is good and forbid what is evil, and endure patiently whatever befalls you. Surely this is a resolve to aspire to. “ And do not turn your nose up to people, nor walk pridefully upon the earth. Surely Allah does not like whoever is arrogant, boastful. Be moderate in your pace. And lower your voice, for the ugliest of all voices is certainly the braying of donkeys.”

      --It starts with correct belief (Tawhid) and gratitude, avoiding the arrogance of the rejecters.
      --It manifests in social obligations (kindness to parents) and moral responsibility (enjoining good).
      --It is sustained by certainty in the Hereafter and patience.
      --It results in a character of profound humility and moderation.
      
      This is the lived reality of "establishing prayer" and "giving Zakah" in its fullest sense—a life wholly submitted to God, reflected in every interaction with His creation.
      
      The wisdom of Luqman teaches that true faith, founded on gratitude and the absolute Oneness of God, must manifest in a character of humble piety, social responsibility, and moral integrity in every aspect of life.

DAY 313: Luqman 1 - 11

• DAY 313: Luqman 1 - 11

   Alif-Lãm-Mĩm. These are the verses of the Book, rich in wisdom. ˹It is˺ a guide and mercy for the good-doers— who are steadfast in Salāh and who pay Zakāh and have faith in the Hereafter. It is they who are ˹truly˺ guided by their Lord, and it is they who will be successful. But there are some who employ theatrics, only to lead others away from Allah’s Way—without any knowledge—and to make a mockery of it. They will suffer a humiliating punishment. Whenever Our revelations are recited to them, they turn away in arrogance as if they did not hear them, as if there is deafness in their ears. So give them good news ˹O Prophet˺ of a painful punishment. Surely those who believe and do good will have the Gardens of Bliss, staying there forever. Allah’s promise is true. And He is the Almighty, All-Wise. He created the heavens without pillars—as you can see—and placed firm mountains upon the earth so it does not shake with you, and scattered throughout it all types of creatures. And We send down rain from the sky, causing every type of fine plant to grow on earth. This is Allah’s creation. Now show Me what those ˹gods˺ other than Him have created. In fact, the wrongdoers are clearly astray.

  --True success comes from heeding it with sincere faith and action.
  --Failure comes from arrogantly rejecting it for distractions.
  --The entire universe is a testament to the Oneness and Power of the Creator,
  
  The Quranic terms Iqamat-as-Salah and Yu'tunaz-Zakah describe an integrated state of being where internalizing divine guidance leads to personal piety and social justice, and reducing them to mere ritualistic prayer and a financial tax is to miss their transformative purpose entirely.
  
  The first eleven verses of Surah Luqman establish that true success, guided by the wise Quran, comes from sincere worship, social responsibility, and certainty in the Hereafter, while willful distraction from this truth and arrogance towards God's signs lead to a humiliating fate.

• DAY 312: Saffat 149-182

   Ask them ˹O Prophet˺ if your Lord has daughters, while the pagans ˹prefer to˺ have sons. Or ˹ask them˺ if We created the angels as females right before their eyes. Indeed, it is one of their ˹outrageous˺ fabrications to say, “Allah has children.” They are simply liars. Has He chosen daughters over sons? What is the matter with you? How do you judge? Will you not then be mindful? Or do you have ˹any˺ compelling proof? Then bring ˹us˺ your scripture, if what you say is true! They have also established a ˹marital˺ relationship between Him and the jinn. Yet the jinn ˹themselves˺ know well that such people will certainly be brought ˹for punishment˺. Glorified is Allah far above what they claim! But not the chosen servants of Allah. Surely you ˹pagans˺ and whatever ˹idols˺ you worship can never lure ˹anyone˺ away from Him except those ˹destined˺ to burn in Hell. ˹The angels respond,˺ “There is not one of us without an assigned station ˹of worship˺. We are indeed the ones lined up in ranks ˹for Allah˺. And we are indeed the ones ˹constantly˺ glorifying ˹His praise˺.” They certainly used to say, “If only we had a Reminder like ˹those of˺ earlier peoples, we would have truly been Allah’s devoted servants.” But ˹now˺ they reject it, so they will soon know. Our Word has already gone forth to Our servants, the messengers, that they would surely be helped, and that Our forces will certainly prevail. So turn away from the deniers for a while. You will see ˹what will happen to˺ them, and they too will see! Do they ˹really˺ wish to hasten Our punishment? Yet when it descends upon them: how evil will that morning be for those who had been warned! And turn away from them for a while. You will see, and they too will see! Glorified is your Lord—the Lord of Honour and Power—above what they claim! Peace be upon the messengers. And praise be to Allah—Lord of all worlds.

      Rejects a Silly Lie: It argues against the pagans who said that angels were Allah's daughters. It asks them, "Why would Allah have what you yourselves dislike (daughters) while you keep the sons? That makes no sense!" It says Allah is far above having children.
      Comforts the Believers: It tells the believers, "Don't worry, these liars can only mislead those who are already destined for Hell." It also states that Allah's promise is clear: His messengers and the believers will ultimately win.
  
      A Final Command and Praise:
          Command: God tells the Prophet Muhammad, "For now, just turn away from these people and wait. They will soon see the punishment they were asking for."
          Praise: The surah ends by praising God, saying:
              "God is too great to be described by their lies."
              "Peace and blessings to all the prophets."
              "And all thanks and praise are for God, the Lord of everyone and everything."
                     
   The surah concludes by powerfully refuting the pagans' false beliefs about God, assuring the believers of their ultimate victory, and ending with a declaration that God is far above their lies and deserves all praise.

   And We certainly showed favour to Moses and Aaron, and delivered them and their people from the great distress. We helped them so it was they who prevailed. We gave them the clear Scripture, and guided them to the Straight Path. And We blessed them ˹with honourable mention˺ among later generations: “Peace be upon Moses and Aaron.” Indeed, this is how We reward the good-doers. They were truly ˹two˺ of Our faithful servants. And Elias was indeed one of the messengers. ˹Remember˺ when he said to his people, “Will you not fear ˹Allah˺? Do you call upon ˹the idol of˺ Ba’l and abandon the Best of Creators— Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” But they rejected him, so they will certainly be brought ˹for punishment˺. But not the chosen servants of Allah. We blessed him ˹with honourable mention˺ among later generations: “Peace be upon Elias.” Indeed, this is how We reward the good-doers. He was truly one of Our faithful servants. And Lot was indeed one of the messengers. ˹Remember˺ when We delivered him and all of his family, except an old woman, who was one of the doomed. Then We ˹utterly˺ destroyed the rest. You ˹Meccans˺ certainly pass by their ruins day and night. Will you not then understand? And Jonah was indeed one of the messengers. ˹Remember˺ when he fled to the overloaded ship. Then ˹to save it from sinking,˺ he drew straws ˹with other passengers˺. He lost ˹and was thrown overboard˺. Then the whale engulfed him while he was blameworthy. Had he not ˹constantly˺ glorified ˹Allah˺, he would have certainly remained in its belly until the Day of Resurrection. But We cast him onto the open ˹shore˺, ˹totally˺ worn out, and caused a squash plant to grow over him. We ˹later˺ sent him ˹back˺ to ˹his city of˺ at least one hundred thousand people, who then believed ˹in him˺, so We allowed them enjoyment for a while.

      Consistency of Divine Justice: The pattern holds: believers are saved, deniers are destroyed. The stories of Musa, Ilyas, and Lut reinforce this starkly.
      The Universality of the Message: Prophethood is not limited to one line or region; it is a universal phenomenon for all nations.
      The Power of Repentance: The story of Yunus introduces a crucial nuance: even a prophet can make a mistake, but sincere repentance leads to salvation and renewed success.
      A Mercy for Nations: The story of Yunus's people shows that divine punishment is not inevitable. If people believe, punishment is averted, demonstrating Allah's ultimate mercy.
      A Chain of Evidence: The passage ends by pointing to the physical ruins of past nations and the historical success of prophets, urging the current audience to learn from these "lessons in stone."
    
      The stories of Moses, Elijah, Lot, and Jonah consistently demonstrate that Allah saves His believing servants and destroys their stubborn opponents, while also showing His mercy to those who repent, thus proving His unwavering pattern of justice and deliverance.

• DAY 310: Saffat 75-113

    Indeed, Noah cried out to Us, and how excellent are We in responding! We delivered him and his family from the great distress, and made his descendants the sole survivors. And We blessed him ˹with honourable mention˺ among later generations: “Peace be upon Noah among all peoples.” Indeed, this is how We reward the good-doers. ˹For˺ he was truly one of Our faithful servants.Then We drowned the others.
  And indeed, one of those who followed his way was Abraham. ˹Remember˺ when he came to his Lord with a pure heart, and said to his father and his people, “What are you worshipping? Is it false gods that you desire instead of Allah? What then do you expect from the Lord of all worlds?” He later looked up to the stars ˹in contemplation˺, then said, “I am really sick.” So they turned their backs on him and went away. Then he ˹stealthily˺ advanced towards their gods, and said ˹mockingly˺, “Will you not eat ˹your offerings˺? What is wrong with you that you cannot speak?” Then he swiftly turned on them, striking ˹them˺ with his right hand. Later, his people came rushing towards him ˹furiously˺. He argued, “How can you worship what you carve ˹with your own hands˺, when it is Allah Who created you and whatever you do?”  They said ˹to one another˺, “Build him a furnace and cast him into the blazing fire.” And so they sought to harm him, but We made them inferior. He later said, “I am leaving ˹in obedience˺ to my Lord. He will guide me. My Lord! Bless me with righteous offspring.” So We gave him good news of a forbearing son. Then when the boy reached the age to work with him, Abraham said, “O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I ˹must˺ sacrifice you. So tell me what you think.” He replied, “O my dear father! Do as you are commanded. Allah willing, you will find me steadfast.” Then when they submitted ˹to Allah’s Will˺, and Abraham laid him on the side of his forehead ˹for sacrifice˺, We called out to him, “O Abraham! You have already fulfilled the vision.” Indeed, this is how We reward the good-doers. That was truly a revealing test. And We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice,  and blessed Abraham ˹with honourable mention˺ among later generations: “Peace be upon Abraham.” This is how We reward the good-doers. He was truly one of Our faithful servants. We ˹later˺ gave him good news of Isaac—a prophet, and one of the righteous. We blessed him and Isaac as well. Some of their descendants did good, while others clearly wronged themselves.

      Answered Prayers: The stories of Nuh and Ibrahim show that Allah responds to the sincere calls of His servants.
      The Peak of Submission: The climax of Ibrahim's story defines the essence of Islam: total submission to Allah's will, even when it defies human emotion and logic.
      Divine Salvation: In every story, Allah saves and rewards His faithful servants, whether from flood, fire, or the knife.
      A Legacy of Peace: The prophets who passed their severe trials were granted an everlasting legacy of honor and peace in this world and the next.
      Individual Responsibility: The passage ends by noting that righteousness is not guaranteed by lineage; from the best of fathers can come both good and evil children, emphasizing personal accountability.
         
      Through the answered prayers of Noah and Abraham's ultimate test of sacrifice, these verses demonstrate that Allah saves and eternally honors those servants who demonstrate absolute faith and submission to His will.

DAY 309: Saffat 40-74

• DAY 309: Saffat 40-74

   But not the chosen servants of Allah. They will have a known provision: fruits ˹of every type˺. And they will be honoured in the Gardens of Bliss, facing each other on thrones. A drink ˹of pure wine˺ will be passed around to them from a flowing stream: crystal-white, delicious to drink. It will neither harm ˹them˺, nor will they be intoxicated by it. And with them will be mates of modest gaze and most beautiful of eye, as if they were pristine pearls. Then they will turn to one another inquisitively. One of them will say, “I once had a companion ˹in the world˺ who used to ask ˹me˺, ‘Do you actually believe ˹in resurrection˺? When we are dead and reduced to dust and bones, will we really be brought to judgment?’” He will ˹then˺ ask, “Would you care to see ˹his fate˺?” Then he ˹and the others˺ will look and spot him in the midst of the Hellfire. He will ˹then˺ say, “By Allah! You nearly ruined me. Had it not been for the grace of my Lord, I ˹too˺ would have certainly been among those brought ˹to Hell˺.” ˹Then he will ask his fellow believers,˺ “Can you imagine that we will never die, except our first death, nor be punished ˹like the others˺?” This is truly the ultimate triumph. For such ˹honour˺ all should strive. Is this ˹bliss˺ a better accommodation or the tree of Zaqqûm? We have surely made it a test for the wrongdoers. Indeed, it is a tree that grows in the depths of Hell, bearing fruit like devils’ heads. The evildoers will certainly ˹be left to˺ eat from it, filling up their bellies with it. Then on top of that they will be given a blend of boiling drink. Then they will ultimately return to ˹their place in˺ Hell. Indeed, they found their forefathers astray, so they rushed in their footsteps! And surely most of the earlier generations had strayed before them,  although We had certainly sent warners among them. See then what was the end of those who had been warned. But not the chosen servants of Allah.

      The Two Destinations: A stark contrast is drawn between the honored, blissful state of the Mukhlaseen (sincere servants) and the humiliated, tormented state of the wrongdoers.
      Divine Grace: Salvation is explicitly attributed to Allah's favor, not merely to one's own efforts.
      The Horror of Hell: The Tree of Zaqqum is introduced as a specific, grotesque detail of the punishment, emphasizing its severity.
      The Danger of Blind Following: The primary cause of misguidance is identified as the uncritical adherence to the traditions of one's ancestors, even in the face of clear warning.
      The Victory of the Sincere: Amidst widespread error, the true and sincere servants of Allah are uniquely protected and saved.
        
      Allah contrasts the eternal honor and bliss reserved for His sincere servants in Paradise with the horrific punishment in Hell, which is the fate of those who arrogantly denied the truth and blindly followed their forefathers, thereby highlighting that salvation is the ultimate triumph achieved through divine grace.

• DAY 308: Saffat 22-39

   (It will be said to the angels,) “Gather ˹all˺ the wrongdoers along with their peers, and whatever they used to worship instead of Allah, then lead them ˹all˺ to the path of Hell. And detain them, for they must be questioned.” ˹Then they will be asked,˺ “What is the matter with you that you can no longer help each other?” In fact, on that Day they will be ˹fully˺ submissive. They will turn on each other, throwing blame. The misled will say, “It was you who deluded us away from what is right.” The misleaders will reply, “No! You disbelieved on your own. We had no authority over you. In fact, you yourselves were a transgressing people. The decree of our Lord has come to pass against us ˹all˺: we will certainly taste ˹the punishment˺. We caused you to deviate, for we ourselves were deviant.” Surely on that Day they will ˹all˺ share in the punishment. That is certainly how We deal with the wicked. For whenever it was said to them ˹in the world˺, “There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Allah,” they acted arrogantly and argued, “Should we really abandon our gods for a mad poet?” In fact, he came with the truth, confirming ˹earlier˺ messengers. You will certainly taste the painful torment, and will only be rewarded for what you used to do.

      The Drama of the Hereafter: A vivid scene of assembly, mutual blame, and failed excuses among the people of Hell.
      The Justice of Punishment: The punishment is shared because the sin was shared, and it is a direct result of their own actions.
      The Futility of Worldly Leaders: Those who were followed in life will be the first to disown their followers on the Day of Judgment.
      The Core Sin of Arrogance: The root cause of their damnation is identified as their arrogant rejection of the simple message of God's Oneness.
      The Vindication of the Prophet: The truth of the Prophet's message is affirmed in the face of the disbelievers' false accusations. 
    
      On the Day of Judgment, the disbelievers and their false gods will be assembled for Hell, where they will futilely blame one another before sharing in a painful punishment that is the direct and just consequence of their own arrogance and rejection of the truth.

DAY 307: Saffat 1 - 21

• DAY 307: Saffat 1 - 21

   By those who stand in rows, then by those who prevent firmly, And those who recite the message, surely your God is but One, Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises. Verily, We have decorated the nearest sky with an adornment, the stars, and (have made them) a security against every rebellious devil. They cannot listen to the Upper Realm and are hit from every side to be driven off, and for them there is a lasting punishment; however, if one snatches a little bit, he is pursued by a bright flame. Now ask them, “Are they stronger in the formation of their bodies, or those (other beings) that We have created?” Certainly, We did create them from sticky clay. But you wonder (at their denial), and they mock (at the idea of an Hereafter). And when any advice is given to them, they pay no heed to it. And when they see a sign, they make fun of it, and say, “This is nothing but an obvious magic. When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? And our forefathers [as well]?" Say, ‘Yes indeed, and you will be humiliated.’ It will be only one blast, and at once they will be observing.  And they will be saying, “Woe to us; this is the Day of Judgment.”  (It will be said to them,) “This is the Day of Judgment that you used to deny.”

   Surah Al-An'am presents a powerful and comprehensive case for Islamic monotheism, beginning with the undeniable evidence of Allah as the sole Creator and Sovereign of the universe. It systematically dismantles the excuses of polytheists, who, despite clear signs and a consistent message brought by a long line of prophets—exemplified by Abraham's logical arguments—persist in denial due to ancestral assumptions and desires. The surah establishes that the Prophet's role is solely to convey the truth, as humanity has been granted free will to choose, with most leaning toward misguidance. It then contrasts man-made, superstitious religions with Allah's own merciful and rational law, culminating in a definitive moral code that constitutes the "Straight Path." The surah concludes by emphasizing absolute divine justice, where every soul is individually accountable for its choices in this life of trial, warning that true faith must be declared before the inevitable meeting with the Lord, as no second chances will be granted on the Day of Judgment.
  
  Surah Al-An'am establishes that pure belief in the One Creator and adherence to His merciful law is the only "Straight Path," a truth made clear through logic, prophecy, and nature, leaving humanity without excuse on a Day of Judgment where each soul will be held perfectly accountable for its choices.

  Then We gave Mūsā the Book, perfect for the one who does good, and explaining everything in detail, and a guidance and mercy, so that they may believe in meeting their Lord. And this (Qur’ān) is a blessed Book We have sent down. So follow it and fear Allah, so that you may be favored with mercy. (Had We not sent this book,) you would (have an excuse to) say, “The Book was sent down only upon two groups before us, (i.e. the Jews and the Christians) and we were unaware of what they read.” Or you would say, “If the Book had been sent down to us, we would have been more adhering to the right path than they are.” Now there has come to you a clear sign from your Lord, and a guidance and mercy. So, who is more unjust than the one who gives the lie to the verses of Allah and turns away from them? We will recompense those who turn away from Our verses with an evil punishment, because of their turning away. They are waiting for nothing less than that the angels should come to them, or your Lord or some signs of your Lord should come. The day some signs of your Lord will come, the believing of a person shall be of no use to him who had never believed before, or had not earned some good through his faith. Say, “Keep waiting! We too are waiting.” Surely, those who have made divisions in their religion and turned into factions, you have nothing to do with them. Their case rests with Allah alone; then He will tell them what they have been doing. Whoever comes with a good deed will be rewarded tenfold. But whoever comes with a bad deed will be punished for only one. None will be wronged. Say, “As for me, my Lord has guided me to a straight path, the straight religion, the faith of Ibrāhīm who was upright and was not of those who associate partners with Allah. ” Say, “Surely my prayer, my sacrifice, my life, and my death are all for Allah—Lord of all worlds. He has no partner. So I am commanded, and so I am the first to submit.” Say, “Should I seek a lord other than Allah while He is the Lord of everything? And nobody does anything but to his own account, and no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return. Then He will let you know what you were disputing about.” He is the One Who has placed you as successors on earth and elevated some of you in rank over others, so He may test you with what He has given you. Surely your Lord is swift in punishment, but He is certainly All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

   The polytheists will argue, “Had it been Allah’s Will, neither we nor our forefathers would have associated others with Him ˹in worship˺ or made anything unlawful.” Likewise, those before them rejected the truth until they tasted Our punishment. Ask , “Do you have any knowledge that you can produce for us? Surely you follow nothing but ˹false˺ assumptions and you do nothing but lie.” Say, “Allah has the most conclusive argument. Had it been His Will, He would have easily imposed guidance upon all of you.” Say “Bring your witnesses who can testify that Allah has forbidden this.” If they ˹falsely˺ testify, do not testify with them. And do not follow the desires of those who deny Our proofs, disbelieve in the Hereafter, and set up equals with their Lord. Say, “Come! Let me recite to you what your Lord has forbidden to you: do not associate others with Him ˹in worship˺. ˹Do not fail to˺ honour your parents. Do not kill your children for fear of poverty. We provide for you and for them. Do not come near indecencies, openly or secretly. Do not take a ˹human˺ life—made sacred by Allah—except with ˹legal˺ right. This is what He has commanded you, so perhaps you will understand. And do not come near the wealth of the orphan—unless intending to enhance it—until they attain maturity. Give full measure and weigh with justice. We never require of any soul more than what it can afford. Whenever you speak, maintain justice—even regarding a close relative. And fulfil your covenant with Allah. This is what He has commanded you, so perhaps you will be mindful. Indeed, that is My Path—perfectly straight. So follow it and do not follow other ways, for they will lead you away from His Way. This is what He has commanded you, so perhaps you will be conscious ˹of Allah˺.”

   He is the One Who causes gardens to grow—both cultivated and wild—and palm trees, crops of different flavours, olives, and pomegranates—similar ˹in shape˺, but dissimilar ˹in taste˺. Eat of the fruit they bear and pay the dues at harvest, but do not waste. Surely He does not like the wasteful. Some cattle are fit for labour, others are too small. Eat of what Allah has provided for you and do not follow Satan’s footsteps. Certainly, he is your sworn enemy. ˹Allah has created˺ four pairs: a pair of sheep and a pair of goats—ask ˹them˺, “Has He forbidden ˹to you˺ the two males or the two females or what is in the wombs of the two females? Tell me with knowledge, if what you say is true.”— and a pair of camels and a pair of oxen. Ask ˹them˺, “Has He forbidden ˹to you˺ the two males or the two females or what is in the wombs of the two females? Or were you present when Allah gave you this commandment?” Who does more wrong than those who fabricate lies against Allah to mislead others without ˹any˺ knowledge? Surely Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. Say, “I do not find, in what has been revealed to me, anything (out of the cattle under discussion) prohibited for anyone who eats it, unless it be carrion or blood that pours forth, or flesh of swine - because it is impure - or there be an animal slaughtered sinfully by invoking on it the name of someone other than Allah. However, if anyone is compelled by necessity, neither seeking pleasure nor crossing the limit, then your Lord is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.” For those who are Jewish, We forbade every animal with undivided hoofs and the fat of oxen and sheep except what is joined to their backs or intestines or mixed with bone. In this way We penalized them for their disobedience. And We are certainly truthful. But if they deny you ˹O Prophet˺, say, “Your Lord is infinite in mercy, yet His punishment will not be averted from the wicked people.”

     This passage provides Allah's answer to the pagans' invented religion, replacing their irrational restrictions with His clear, compassionate law. 
    The issue is not the number of Haram items. The issue is the battle within the human soul between:
      Obedience vs. Desire
      Certainty in the Unseen vs. Gratification of the Immediate
      The Fear of one's Lord vs. The Fear of Social Judgment
  The limited nature of the Haram is, in fact, a profound mercy. It makes the path of obedience easy and accessible. The choice to cross that clear, narrow boundary is, therefore, a conscious choice to prioritize the self over the Creator—which is the very essence of disobedience.
  
      Establishes Allah as the True Law-Giver: After exposing the false laws of the pagans, Allah now reveals His own clear and merciful commandments.
      Dismantles Paganism with Logic: It uses rhetorical questions to show that pagan food taboos have no logical or divine basis.
      Defines the Halal and Haram: It provides a precise, limited list of prohibitions, establishing the core of Islamic dietary law based on purity and monotheism.
      Highlights Mercy and Rationality: The Islamic law is presented as moderate, understandable, and accompanied by mercy for those in genuine need. 
      This passage replaces the pagans' arbitrary and superstitious food taboos with Allah's clear, limited, and merciful divine law, permitting all good provisions and forbidding only specific impure things, thereby establishing the rational and compassionate foundation of Islamic dietary code.

• DAY 302: Anam 136-140

   The pagans set aside for Allah a share of the crops and cattle He created, saying, “This ˹portion˺ is for Allah,” so they claim, “and this ˹one˺ for our associate-gods.” Yet the portion of their associate-gods is not shared with Allah while Allah’s portion is shared with their associate-gods. What unfair judgment! Likewise, the pagans’ evil associates have made it appealing to them to kill their own children—only leading to their destruction as well as confusion in their faith. Had it been Allah’s Will, they would not have done such a thing. So leave them and their falsehood. They say, “These cattle and crops are reserved—none may eat them except those we permit,” so they claim. Some other cattle are exempted from labour and others are not slaughtered in Allah’s Name—falsely attributing lies to Him. He will soon punish them for what they have been fabricating. They ˹also˺ say, “The offspring of this cattle is reserved for our males and forbidden to our females; but if it is stillborn, they may all share it.” Soon, He will punish them for what they attribute. Surely, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. Lost indeed are those who have murdered their own children foolishly out of ignorance and have forbidden what Allah has provided for them—falsely attributing lies to Allah. They have certainly strayed and are not ˹rightly˺ guided.

      Shirk Corrupts Morality and Logic: It leads to irrational, self-serving, and hypocritical religious practices.
      Shirk Leads to Atrocities: The same mindset that creates arbitrary food laws can lead to the ultimate crime of killing one's own children, showing a complete perversion of natural instinct and morality.
      Divine Law vs. Man-Made Law: The passage starkly contrasts the forthcoming Islamic laws (which are just, merciful, and logical) with the pagan customs, which are based on ignorance, desire, and cruelty. It establishes that only God has the authority to declare something lawful or forbidden.
      
      This passage condemns the pagan Arabs for inventing a self-serving religious system that arbitrarily forbade God's provisions and even led to the killing of their own children, exposing such practices as a destructive and foolish lie against God born solely from their own desires and ignorance.

   ˹Consider˺ the Day He will gather them ˹all˺ together and say, “O assembly of jinn! You misled humans in great numbers.” And their human associates will say, “Our Lord! We benefited from each other’s company, but now we have reached the term which You appointed for us.” ˹Then˺ He will say, “The Fire is your home, yours to stay in forever, except whoever Allah wills to spare.” Surely your Lord is All-Wise, All-Knowing. This is how We make the wrongdoers ˹destructive˺ allies of one another because of their misdeeds. ˹Allah will ask,˺ “O assembly of jinn and humans! Did messengers not come from among you, proclaiming My revelations and warning you of the coming of this Day of yours?” They will say, “We confess against ourselves!” For they have been deluded by ˹their˺ worldly life. And they will testify against themselves that they were disbelievers. This ˹sending of the messengers˺ is because your Lord would never destroy a society for their wrongdoing while its people are unaware ˹of the truth˺. They will each be assigned ranks according to their deeds. And your Lord is not unaware of what they do. Your Lord is the Self-Sufficient, Full of Mercy. If He wills, He can do away with you and replace you with whoever He wills, just as He produced you from the offspring of other people. Indeed, what you have been promised will certainly come to pass. And you will have no escape. Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “O my people! Persist in your ways, for I ˹too˺ will persist in mine. You will soon know who will fare best in the end. Indeed, the wrongdoers will never succeed.”

      All Alliances are Exposed: The sinful alliance between misguided jinn and mankind is dissolved, and they blame each other before being condemned together.
      Divine Justice is Perfect: No one is punished without warning, and everyone's fate is assigned in precise degrees according to their own deeds and admissions.
      The Prophet's Duty is Complete: He is consoled that his Lord is not needy, the outcome is certain, and his final task is to continue his work, leaving the final judgment to Allah, with the assurance that wrongdoers will never ultimately succeed.  
      
      This concluding passage establishes that on the Day of Judgment, the sinful alliance between jinn and mankind will be dissolved as they testify against themselves, culminating in a perfectly just recompense based on their deeds and delivering a final, decisive admonition that the wrongdoers will never succeed.

   So eat only of what is slaughtered in Allah’s Name if you truly believe in His revelations. What should cause you to avoid eating of that upon which the name of Allah has been invoked, while He has spelled out to you all that He has made unlawful for you, except that to which you are compelled by extreme necessity? Surely, there are many who misguide people on the basis of their desires without having knowledge. Surely, your Lord is the best knower of those who cross the limits. Shun all sin—open and secret. Indeed, those who commit sin will be punished for what they earn. Do not eat of what is not slaughtered in Allah’s Name. For that would certainly be ˹an act of˺ disobedience. Surely the devils whisper to their ˹human˺ associates to argue with you. If you were to obey them, then you ˹too˺ would be polytheists. Can those who had been dead, to whom We gave life and a light with which they can walk among people, be compared to those in complete darkness from which they can never emerge? That is how the misdeeds of the disbelievers have been made appealing to them. And so We have placed in every society the most wicked to conspire in it. Yet they plot only against themselves, but they fail to perceive it. Whenever a sign comes to them, they say, “We will never believe until we receive what Allah’s messengers received.” Allah knows best where to place His message. The wicked will soon be overwhelmed by humiliation from Allah and a severe punishment for their evil plots. Whoever Allah wills to guide, He opens their heart to Islam. But whoever He wills to leave astray, He makes their chest tight and constricted as if they were climbing up into the sky. This is how Allah dooms those who disbelieve. That is your Lord’s Path—perfectly straight. We have already made the signs clear to those who are mindful. They will have the Home of Peace with their Lord, Who will be their Guardian because of what they used to do.

      Spiritual Reality: Faith is true life and light, while disbelief is a state of death and darkness.
      Divine Sovereignty: Allah chooses where to place His message and guides whom He wills by opening their hearts, while misguidance is a sealing of hearts that are arrogant and closed.
      The Ultimate Goal: The journey of following the straight path, in belief and practice, culminates in the eternal "Home of Peace" with Allah.
  
      This passage establishes that true belief in Allah's oneness must govern practical life, beginning with following His dietary laws, and it contrasts the spiritual state of the believer—who is granted the light of guidance and a path to the eternal Home of Peace—with the disbeliever, whose heart is constricted by arrogance and whose schemes are led by devils.

• DAY 299: Anam 111-117

   Even if We had sent them the angels, made the dead speak to them, and assembled before their own eyes every sign ˹they demanded˺, they still would not have believed—unless Allah so willed. But most of them are ignorant ˹of this˺. And so We have made for every prophet enemies—devilish humans and jinn—whispering to one another with elegant words of deception. Had it been your Lord’s Will, they would not have done such a thing. So leave them and their deceit, so that the hearts of those who disbelieve in the Hereafter may be receptive to it, be pleased with it, and be persistent in their evil pursuits. ˹Say,˺ “Should I seek a judge other than Allah while He is the One Who has revealed for you the Book ˹with the truth˺ perfectly explained?” Those who were given the Scripture know that it has been revealed ˹to you˺ from your Lord in truth. So do not be one of those who doubt. The Word of your Lord has been perfected in truth and justice. None can change His Words. And He is the All-Hearing, All- Knowing. If you were to obey most of those on earth, they would lead you away from Allah’s Way. They follow nothing but assumptions and do nothing but lie. Indeed, your Lord knows best who has strayed from His Way and who is ˹rightly˺ guided.

      This passage conclusively proves that the disbelievers' demand for a miracle is a hollow pretext, as even the greatest sign would not compel their belief, and it commands the Prophet to therefore rely solely on the Quran's perfect authority and completely disregard the misleading opinions of the majority.

   That is Allah—your Lord! There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him. ˹He is˺ the Creator of all things, so worship Him ˹alone˺. And He is the Maintainer of everything. No vision can encompass Him, but He encompasses all vision. For He is the Most Subtle, All-Aware. Indeed, there have come to you insights from your Lord. So whoever chooses to see, it is for their own good. But whoever chooses to be blind, it is to their own loss. And I am not a keeper over you. This is how We bring the verses in diverse ways, so that they say, “you have been tutored”, and so that We may explain it to people who have knowledge. Follow what has been revealed to you from your Lord. There is no god but He; and turn away from those who associate partners with Allah. If Allah willed, they would not have associated. We have not appointed you as a guard over them, nor are you a taskmaster for them. ˹O believers!˺ Do not insult what they invoke besides Allah or they will insult Allah spitefully out of ignorance. This is how We have made each people’s deeds appealing to them. Then to their Lord is their return, and He will inform them of what they used to do. They have sworn forceful oaths by Allah that if a sign comes to them, they will surely believe in it. Say, “Signs are in Allah’s power alone.” What will make you realize that even when they (the signs) come, they will not believe? We turn their hearts and eyes away ˹from the truth˺ as they refused to believe at first, leaving them to wander blindly in their defiance.

   Indeed, Allah is the One Who causes seeds and fruit stones to sprout. He brings forth the living from the dead and the dead from the living. That is Allah! How can you then be deluded ˹from the truth˺? He causes the dawn to break, and has made the night for rest and ˹made˺ the sun and the moon ˹to travel˺ with precision. That is the design of the Almighty, All-Knowing. And He is the One Who has made the stars as your guide through the darkness of land and sea. We have already made the signs clear for people who know. And He is the One Who originated you all from a single soul, then assigned you a place to live and another to ˹be laid to˺ rest. We have already made the signs clear for people who comprehend. And He is the One Who sends down rain from the sky—causing all kinds of plants to grow—producing green stalks from which We bring forth clustered grain. And from palm trees come clusters of dates hanging within reach. ˹There are˺ also gardens of grapevines, olives, and pomegranates, similar ˹in shape˺ but dissimilar ˹in taste˺. Look at their fruit as it yields and ripens! Indeed, in these are signs for people who believe. Yet they associate the jinn with Allah ˹in worship˺, even though He created them, and they falsely attribute to Him sons and daughters out of ignorance. Glorified and Exalted is He above what they claim! ˹He is˺ the Originator of the heavens and earth. How could He have children when He has no mate? He created all things and has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of everything.

      This passage presents the cyclical miracles of life—from the splitting seed to the rhythm of day and night—as self-evident proofs of a single, supreme Creator who continuously sustains all existence, utterly invalidating the absurdity of assigning Him partners, offspring, or any need beyond His own eternal, all-encompassing nature.
