DAY 357: Jathiyah 22-37
For Allah created the heavens and the earth for a purpose, so that every soul may be paid back for what it has committed. And none will be wronged. So, have you seen him who has taken his desires as his god, and Allah has let him go astray, despite having knowledge, and has sealed his ear and his heart, and put a cover on his eye? Now who will guide him after Allah? Still, do you not take lesson? And they argue, “There is nothing beyond our worldly life. We die; others are born. And nothing destroys us but ˹the passage of˺ time.” Yet they have no knowledge ˹in support˺ of this ˹claim˺. They only speculate. And whenever Our clear revelations are recited to them, their only argument is to say: “Bring our forefathers back, if what you say is true!” Say, “Allah gives you life, then makes you die, then He will assemble you on the Day of Judgement in which there is no doubt, but most of the people do not know. “ To Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. The day the Hour will take place, it will be the day in which the adherents of falsehood shall lose, And you will see every faith-community on its knees. Every community will be summoned to its record ˹of deeds˺. ˹They all will be told,˺ “This Day you will be rewarded for what you used to do. This record of Ours speaks the truth about you. Indeed, We always had your deeds recorded ˹by the angels˺.” As for those who believed and did good, their Lord will admit them into His mercy. That is ˹truly˺ the absolute triumph. And as for those who disbelieved, ˹they will be told,˺ “Were My revelations not recited to you, yet you acted arrogantly and were a wicked people? And whenever it was said ˹to you˺, ‘Surely Allah’s promise ˹of judgment˺ is true and there is no doubt about the Hour,’ you said ˹mockingly˺, ‘We do not know what the Hour is! We think it is no more than speculation, and we are not convinced ˹that it will ever come˺.’” And the evil ˹consequences˺ of their deeds will unfold before them, and they will be overwhelmed by what they used to ridicule. It will be said, “This Day We will neglect you as you neglected the meeting of this Day of yours! Your home will be the Fire, and you will have no helpers. This is because you made a mockery of Allah’s revelations, and were deluded by ˹your˺ worldly life.” So ˹from˺ that Day ˹on˺ they will not be taken out of the Fire, nor will they be allowed to appease ˹their Lord˺. So all praise is for Allah—Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, Lord of all worlds. To Him belongs ˹all˺ Majesty in the heavens and the earth. And He is the Almighty, All-Wise.
(
Verses 1-21 presented the logical and moral argument for faith and accountability. Verses 22-37 move to a graphic, eschatological climax, depicting the scene of the Day of Judgment itself. The tone becomes more direct, confrontational, and awe-inspiring, moving from invitation and warning to a definitive announcement of what will transpire.
The Deification of Desire: The root of disbelief is making one's own hawā (whim, desire) the ultimate god, leading to moral and intellectual blindness.
The Certainty of the Record: The Day of Judgment is not a vague threat but a precise, individual accounting based on a flawless transcript of deeds The Humiliation of Arrogance: All worldly power, pride, and lineage collapse. Every nation and individual is brought to their knees, forced to confront the truth they denied.
Poetic Justice: The punishment perfectly fits the crime: they are forgotten as they forgot, enveloped by what they ridiculed.
Ultimate Sovereignty: The narrative concludes by reasserting that all praise, dominion, and grandeur belong solely to Allah, the Wise and Powerful, before whom every soul will finally crouch (Al-Jathiyah).
Every soul will be forced to kneel on the Day of Judgment, facing the perfect justice of the record they chose to ignore, with no escape from the consequence of making their own desires their god.

DAY 356: Jathiyah 1-21
Ḥâ-Mĩm. The revelation of this Book is from Allah—the Almighty, All-Wise. Surely in ˹the creation of˺ the heavens and the earth are signs for the believers. And in your own creation, and whatever living beings He dispersed, are signs for people of sure faith. And ˹in˺ the alternation of the day and the night, the provision sent down from the skies by Allah—reviving the earth after its death—and the shifting of the winds, are signs for people of understanding. These are Allah’s revelations which We recite to you ˹O Prophet˺ in truth. So what message will they believe in after ˹denying˺ Allah and His revelations? Woe to every sinful liar. They hear Allah’s revelations recited to them, then persist ˹in denial˺ arrogantly as if they did not hear them. So give them good news of a painful punishment. And whenever they learn anything of Our revelations, they make a mockery of it. It is they who will suffer a humiliating punishment. Awaiting them is Hell. Their ˹worldly˺ gains will not be of any benefit to them whatsoever, nor will those protectors they have taken besides Allah. And they will suffer a tremendous punishment. This ˹Quran˺ is ˹true˺ guidance. And those who deny their Lord’s revelations will suffer the ˹worst˺ torment of agonizing pain. Allah is the One Who has subjected the sea for you so that ships may sail upon it by His command, and that you may seek His bounty, and that perhaps you will be grateful. He ˹also˺ subjected for you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth—all by His grace. Surely in this are signs for people who reflect. Tell those who believe that they should forgive those who do not believe in Allah’s days, so that He may recompense a people for what they used to earn. Whoever does good, it is to their own benefit. And whoever does evil, it is to their own loss. Then to your Lord you will ˹all˺ be returned. Indeed, We gave the Children of Israel the Scripture, wisdom, and prophethood; granted them good, lawful provisions; and favoured them above the others. We ˹also˺ gave them clear commandments regarding ˹their˺ faith. But it was not until knowledge came to them that they differed out of mutual envy.1 Surely your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Judgment regarding their differences. Now We have set you ˹O Prophet˺ on the ˹clear˺ Way of faith. So follow it, and do not follow the desires of those who do not know ˹the truth˺. They certainly can be of no benefit to you against Allah whatsoever. Surely the wrongdoers are patrons of each other, whereas Allah is the Patron of the righteous. This ˹Quran˺ is an insight for humanity—a guide and mercy for people of sure faith. Or do those who commit evil deeds ˹simply˺ think that We will make them equal—in their life and after their death—to those who believe and do good? How wrong is their judgment!
(
Dual Revelation: Allah's communication comes through the Quran (the recited sign) and the Universe (the observed sign). Both demand belief.
Arrogance vs. Reflection: The denier's problem is arrogance (istikbār) that prevents reflection (tadabbur). The believer is characterized by certainty (yaqīn) born of reflection.
Moral Responsibility: Every soul is personally accountable for its deeds. Social status or tribal power is irrelevant on the Day of Judgment.
Ultimate Justice: This worldly life is not the final arbiter of success. The Hereafter is where true justice—the distinction between the people of Paradise and the people of the Fire—will be executed in full.
The Purpose of Power: The subjection of the universe to humanity is a favor from Allah, inviting to gratitude and worship, not to arrogance and autonomy.
True success is determined not by worldly power or whims, but by faith, righteous deeds, and the ultimate justice of the Hereafter.

DAY 355: Dukhan 34-59
These people say, “There is nothing more than our first death, and we are not going to be resurrected. So, Bring ˹back˺ our forefathers, if what you say is true.” Are they superior to the people of Tubba’ and those before them? We destroyed them ˹all˺, ˹for˺ they were truly wicked. We did not create the heavens and the earth and everything in between for sport. We only created them for a purpose, but most of these ˹pagans˺ do not know. Surely the Day of ˹Final˺ Decision is the time appointed for all— the day when no close relation will be of any use to any close relation, nor will they be helped, except those shown mercy by Allah. He is truly the Almighty, Most Merciful. Surely ˹the fruit of˺ the tree of Zaqqûm will be the food of the evildoer. Like molten metal, it will boil in the bellies like the boiling of hot water. ˹It will be said,˺ “Seize them and drag them into the depths of the Hellfire. Then pour over their heads the torment of boiling water.” ˹The wicked will be told,˺ “Taste this. You mighty, noble one! This is truly what you ˹all˺ used to doubt.” Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place, amid Gardens and springs, dressed in fine silk and rich brocade, facing one another. So it will be. And We will pair them to maidens with gorgeous eyes. There they will call for every fruit in serenity. There they will never taste death, beyond the first death. And He will protect them from the punishment of the Hellfire— as ˹an act of˺ grace from your Lord. That is ˹truly˺ the ultimate triumph. Indeed, We have made this ˹Quran˺ easy in your own language ˹O Prophet˺ so perhaps they will be mindful. Wait then! They too are certainly waiting.
(
The Great Dichotomy: The surah presents the two, and only two, eternal destinations: the Hellfire of arrogant deniers and the Secure Paradise of the righteous (Muttaqun). There is no third option.
Poetic Justice & Ironic Punishment: The punishment in Hell directly mirrors the sins committed in life: arrogance is met with humiliation, denial of truth is met with its undeniable reality, and worldly "honor" is replaced with disgrace.
Paradise as True Success: Paradise is not merely about pleasures, but about the attainment of perfect security, eternal life, and divine approval—the core desires that worldly power can never truly fulfill.
A Message of Assurance: The final verses reassure the Prophet and the believers. The truth has been made clear. The end of the struggle is preordained in favor of truth. Therefore, stand firm and let the opponents of truth march toward their destined fate.
The final verses of Surah Ad-Dukhan establish the ultimate, inevitable dichotomy: the arrogant deniers will face a humiliating punishment that mirrors their sins, while the righteous will receive eternal security and divine bounty as the supreme triumph.

DAY 354: Dukhan 1-33
Ḥâ-Mĩm. By the clear Book! Indeed, We sent it down on a blessed night, for We always warn ˹against evil˺. On that night every matter of wisdom is ordained by a command from Us, for We have always sent ˹messengers˺ as a mercy from your Lord. He ˹alone˺ is truly the All-Hearing, All-Knowing— the Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything in between, if only you had sure faith. There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him. He ˹alone˺ gives life and causes death. ˹He is˺ your Lord, and the Lord of your forefathers. In fact, they are in doubt, amusing themselves. Wait then ˹O Prophet˺ for the day ˹when˺ the sky will be veiled in haze, clearly visible, overwhelming the people. ˹They will cry,˺ “This is a painful torment. Our Lord! Remove ˹this˺ torment from us, ˹and˺ we will certainly believe.” How can they be reminded when a messenger has already come to them, making things clear, then they turned away from him, saying, “A madman, taught by others!”? Indeed, We will remove ˹that˺ torment for a while, and you will return ˹to disbelief˺. ˹Then˺ on the Day We will deal ˹you˺ the fiercest blow, We will surely inflict punishment. Indeed, before them We tested Pharaoh’s people: a noble messenger came to them, ˹proclaiming,˺ “Hand over the servants of Allah to me. I am truly a trustworthy messenger to you. And do not be arrogant with Allah. I have certainly come to you with a compelling proof. And indeed, I seek refuge with my Lord and your Lord so you do not stone me ˹to death˺. ˹But˺ if you do not believe me, then let me be.” Ultimately, he cried out to his Lord, “These are a wicked people!” ˹Allah responded,˺ “Leave with My servants at night, for you will surely be pursued. And leave the sea parted, for they are certainly an army bound to drown.” ˹Imagine˺ how many gardens and springs the tyrants left behind,
as well as ˹various˺ crops and splendid residences, and luxuries which they fully enjoyed. So it was. And We awarded it ˹all˺ to another people. Neither heaven nor earth wept over them, nor was their fate delayed. And We certainly delivered the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment of Pharaoh. He was truly a tyrant, a transgressor. And indeed, We chose the Israelites knowingly above the others. And We showed them signs in which there was a clear test.
(
The Qur'an as a Divine Revelation: Revealed on a blessed night The Reality of the Hereafter: A vivid depiction of Paradise and Hell.
Warning and Consolation: A warning to the disbelievers of Quraysh and consolation to the beleaguered Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his followers.
Lessons from History: The story of Pharaoh and Musa (Moses) is presented as a parallel and a lesson for the people of Makkah.
Purpose for the Believers: It served to:
---Strengthen their faith by connecting their struggle to the prophetic legacy of Musa.
---Assure them of Allah's support and the ultimate victory of truth.
---Remind them that salvation is for the God-conscious (the muttaqun), who are described in the subsequent verses of the Surah (34-59) as the rightful heirs of Paradise.
Surah Ad-Dukhan declares that the divine pattern is immutable: every arrogant tyrant and oppressor who rejects truth and persecutes the vulnerable, from Pharaoh to those of today, invites upon themselves the same catastrophic fate, while ultimate deliverance belongs to the steadfast believers.
)

DAY 353: Zukhruf 68-89
[To righteous Allāh will say], "O My servants, no fear will there be concerning you this Day, nor will you grieve, ˹those˺ who believed in Our signs and ˹fully˺ submitted ˹to Us˺. Enter Paradise, you and your spouses, rejoicing.” Golden trays and cups will be passed around to them. There will be whatever the souls desire and the eyes delight in. And you will be there forever. That is the Paradise which you will be awarded for what you used to do. There you will have abundant fruit to eat from.
Indeed, the wicked will be in the torment of Hell forever. It will never be lightened for them, and there they will be overwhelmed with despair. We did not wrong them, but it was they who were the wrongdoers. They will cry, “O Mâlik!1 Let your Lord finish us off.” He will answer, “You are definitely here to stay.” We certainly brought the truth to you, but most of you were resentful of the truth. Or have they mastered some ˹evil˺ plan? Then We ˹too˺ are surely planning. Or do they think that We do not hear their ˹evil˺ thoughts and secret talks? Yes ˹We do˺! And Our messenger-angels are in their presence, recording ˹it all˺. Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “If the Most Compassionate ˹really˺ had offspring, I would be the first worshipper.” Glorified is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, far above what they claim. So let them indulge ˹in falsehood˺ and amuse ˹themselves˺ until they face their Day, which they have been warned of.
It is He Who is ˹the only˺ God in the heavens and ˹the only˺ God on the earth. For He is the All-Wise, All-Knowing. And Blessed is the One to Whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and everything in between! With Him ˹alone˺ is the knowledge of the Hour. And to Him you will ˹all˺ be returned. ˹But˺ those ˹objects of worship˺ they invoke besides Him have no power to intercede, except those who testify to the truth knowingly. If you ask them ˹O Prophet˺ who created them, they will certainly say, “Allah!” How can they then be deluded ˹from the truth˺? And (Allah has the knowledge) of his (prophet’s) saying, “O my Lord, these are a people who do not believe.” So, turn away from them, and say, “Salām !” (good-bye!). Then, soon they will come to know (the end of their attitude).
(
In essence, Surah Az-Zukhruf systematically proves that true success lies in rejecting the deceptive "adornments" of this world—be they false gods, tribal pride, material wealth, or blind tradition—and aligning one's allegiance solely with the One True God, to Whom all will return for a final, inescapable accounting.
Verses 68-89 form the powerful conclusion of Surah Az-Zukhruf, shifting from argument and warning to a direct address that separates the destinies of the believers and the disbelievers with ultimate clarity, and ends with a resolute command to the Prophet (PBUH).
From Argument to Destination: It moves from debating the disbelievers to describing their final, separate abodes—Paradise of Peace vs. Hell of Despair.
From Warning to Reality: The promised Hour and Return (mentioned throughout) are treated as absolute certainties around which all action is framed.
From Critique to Transcendence: The rebuttal of false gods culminates in the pure, exalted declaration of God's unique Lordship over all space, time, and the Hour.
From Engagement to Disengagement: The Prophet's mission cycle is completed: he has conveyed, argued, warned, and is now commanded to leave the rejecters to their fate with a word of peace, entrusting the outcome to the All-Knowing Sovereign.
The surah concludes by definitively separating destinies: offering God's faithful servants the spacious mercy of eternal peace in Paradise, while leaving those who chose delusion over truth to face the sealed consequences of their denial, with the final command to the Prophet being dignified disengagement and a parting word of "Peace."

DAY 352: Zukhruf 57-67
When the example of the son of Maryam was cited, your people started at once shouting at it (in joy), and they exclaimed, “Which is better: our gods or Jesus?” They cite him only to argue. In fact, they are a people prone to dispute. He was only a servant We showed favour to, and made as an example for the Children of Israel. Had We willed, We could have easily replaced you ˹all˺ with angels, succeeding one another on earth. And his ˹second˺ coming is truly a sign for the Hour. So have no doubt about it, and follow me. This is the Straight Path. And do not let Satan hinder you, ˹for˺ he is certainly your sworn enemy. When Jesus came with clear proofs, he declared, “I have come to you with wisdom, and to clarify to you some of what you differ about. So fear Allah, and obey me. Surely Allah ˹alone˺ is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him ˹alone˺. This is the Straight Path.” Then different groups, out of them, fell into disagreement. so woe to the wrongdoers when they face the torment of a painful Day! Are they waiting for the Hour to take them by surprise when they least expect ˹it˺? Close friends will be enemies to one another on that Day, except the righteous,
(
It moves the critique beyond the civilization’s specific faults—their mockery of revelation, their hypocrisy in assigning daughters to God, their pride in wealth and ancestry, and their pattern of denial seen in Pharaoh—and declares that on the Day of Judgment, all worldly alliances and contentious debates will collapse into mutual enmity, leaving only the God-conscious united in truth.
"Close friends will be enemies" speaks to the ultimate failure of all worldly loyalties—whether based on family, ethnicity, social class, political party, or corporate interest—when they are placed above divine truth and moral righteousness. At the moment of ultimate accountability, those we followed into error will become our accusers.
The "righteous" (al-muttaqūn) who are exempt from this enmity are defined not by tribe or era, but by a universal quality: God-consciousness, piety, and adherence to the straight path of monotheism and moral integrity.
From False Debates to True Faith: It moves the discussion from the Quraysh's contentious, insincere debates (about daughters of God, status of prophets) to the singular, straight path of worshipping God alone, as taught by all true prophets, including Jesus.
The Ultimate Priority: It makes the Day of Judgment the central, inescapable reality that renders all their arguments trivial. The question is not "Which god is better?" but "Are you prepared for the Day when every false allegiance will fail you?"
The Final Verdict on ‘Asabiyyah (Tribal Blind Loyalty): The surah began by critiquing blind following of ancestors. It ends by showing the ultimate consequence of that loyalty: on Judgment Day, those you followed and those you followed with will become your bitterest enemies. The only saving bond is the conscious, chosen bond of shared piety and truth
Reject hollow contention → Heed the unified call of all prophets to worship God alone → Build your eternal alliances on shared righteousness → And be prepared for the Day when every other bond will fail.
)
25 Aralık 2025 Perşembe
DAY 351: Zukhruf 46-56
Indeed, We sent Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his chiefs, and he said: “I am a messenger of the Lord of all worlds.” But as soon as he came to them with Our signs, they laughed at them, although every sign We showed them was greater than the one before. Ultimately, We seized them with torments so that they might return ˹to the Right Path˺. ˹Then˺ they pleaded, “O ˹mighty˺ magician! Pray to your Lord on our behalf, by virtue of the covenant He made with you. We will certainly accept guidance.” But as soon as We removed the torments from them, they broke their promise. And Pharaoh called out to his people, boasting, “O my people! Am I not sovereign over Egypt as well as ˹all˺ these streams flowing at my feet? Can you not see? Am I not better than this nobody who can hardly express himself? Why then have no golden bracelets ˹of kingship˺ been granted to him or angels come with him as escorts!” And so he fooled his people, and they obeyed him. They were truly a rebellious people. So when they enraged Us, We inflicted punishment upon them, drowning them all. And We made them an example and a lesson for those after them.
(
To "We Found Our Fathers..." (v. 22-24): It provides the concrete example of a "father" or precedent (salafan, v.56) that should be heeded—not the idolatrous immediate ancestors, but the universal pattern of how God destroys arrogant civilizations, making Pharaoh's people the true "fathers" in wrongdoing they should avoid.
To Mockery of Prophets (v. 7, 30): It embodies the earlier abstract statement that prophets are mocked. Here, we see the exact scene: Pharaoh's court laughs at Moses's signs (v.47), just as the Quraysh laugh at Muhammad.
To the Boast of Worldly Power (v. 31-32, 33-35): It dramatizes the futility of that boast. Pharaoh’s "kingdom and rivers" (v.51) are the ultimate symbols of the worldly power and wealth (zukhruf) the surah critiques, and his total annihilation (v.55) proves its utter worthlessness before God.
To the Warning of Destruction (v. 8, 25): It shows what "We destroyed greater than them in power" (v.8) actually looks like, giving a vivid, cinematic depiction of the promised retribution that has been mentioned abstractly until now.
To the Illogic of Shirk (v. 15-16): It exposes the root cause: the arrogance that leads a man (Pharaoh) to see himself as the supreme lord of his realm, blinding him to the Lord of the Worlds. This is the lived reality of the ingratitude (kufr) condemned earlier.
Same Arrogance: Like the Quraysh, Pharaoh and his elite mocked God's messenger and signs (v. 47), relying on their wealth and status (his kingdom and the Nile) as proof of their superiority (v. 51-52).
Same Insincerity: When punished, Pharaoh's people pretended to promise faith for relief, but immediately broke their promise once safe (v. 49-50), exposing their dishonest hearts.
Same Demands: They rejected profound truth because it didn’t come with flashy, worldly proofs like gold or angels (v. 53)—just as the Quraysh demanded miracles.
Same End: Despite their power, they were completely destroyed (drowned) for their defiance (v. 55).
The story of Moses and Pharaoh is presented as a direct historical mirror and warning to the Quraysh: their arrogant mockery, insincere bargaining, and demand for worldly proofs are the same sins that led to the utter destruction of a far mightier civilization.
)

DAY 350: Zukhruf 26-45
(Remember), when Abraham declared to his father and his people, “I am totally free of whatever ˹gods˺ you worship, except the One Who originated me, and He will surely guide me.” And he left this enduring declaration among his descendants, so they may ˹always˺ turn back ˹to Allah˺. In fact, I had allowed enjoyment for these ˹Meccans˺ and their forefathers, until the truth came to them along with a messenger making things clear. ˹But˺ when the truth came to them, they said, “This is magic, and we totally reject it.” And they exclaimed, “If only this Quran was revealed to a great man from ˹one of˺ the two cities!” Is it they who distribute your Lord’s mercy? We ˹alone˺ have distributed their ˹very˺ livelihood among them in this worldly life and raised some of them in rank above others so that some may employ others in service. ˹But˺ your Lord’s mercy is far better than whatever ˹wealth˺ they amass. Were it not that people might ˹be tempted to˺ become one community ˹of disbelievers˺, We would have supplied the homes of ˹only˺ those who disbelieve in the Most Compassionate with silver roofs and ˹silver˺ stairways to ascend, as well as ˹silver˺ gates and thrones to recline on, and ornaments ˹of gold˺. Yet all this is no more than a ˹fleeting˺ enjoyment in this worldly life. ˹But˺ the Hereafter with your Lord is ˹only˺ for those mindful ˹of Him˺. And whoever turns a blind eye to the Reminder of the Most Compassionate, We place at the disposal of each a devilish one as their close associate, who will certainly hinder them from the ˹Right˺ Way while they think they are ˹rightly˺ guided. But when such a person comes to Us, one will say ˹to their associate˺, “I wish you were as distant from me as the east is from the west! What an evil associate ˹you were˺!” ˹It will be said to both,˺ “Since you all did wrong, sharing in the punishment will be of no benefit to you this Day.” Can you make the deaf hear, or guide the blind or those clearly astray? Even if We take you away ˹from this world˺, We will surely inflict punishment upon them. Or if We show you what We threaten them with, We certainly have full power over them. So hold firmly to what has been revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺. You are truly on the Straight Path. Surely this ˹Quran˺ is a glory for you and your people. And you will ˹all˺ be questioned ˹about it˺. Ask ˹the followers of˺ the messengers that We already sent before you if We ˹ever˺ appointed ˹other˺ gods to be worshipped besides the Most Compassionate.
(
Here is a clear Book (v1-4) → but you reject it.
Your rejection is hypocritical (assigning daughters to God) (v16-19) → and based on illogical tradition (v22-24).
But your greatest tradition-bearer, Ibrahim, broke tradition for truth (v26-28) → and you are repeating the error of past destroyed nations (v8, 25).
Your real motives are arrogance (v31-32) and love for worldly delusion (v33-35), which will lead to spiritual ruin (v36-39).
Therefore, O Prophet, just hold to this Revelation (v43), for it is the same message of all true guides (v45).
Ibrahim as the Anti-Tradition: Replaces the false argument of ancestral tradition with the true ancestral model of Ibrahim, who rejected his people's idolatry for pure monotheism.
Rejection Rooted in Arrogance: Exposes that the Quraysh's denial stems from social pride and elitism, not truth-seeking.
The Insignificance of Worldly Wealth: Dismisses material opulence as a temporary, deceptive enjoyment, clarifying it holds no value in the ultimate scale of the Hereafter.
Spiritual Law: Willful blindness leads to being paired with a devil and ultimate, profound regret.
The Prophet's Clear Mandate: His sole duty is to hold fast to the revelation; success and punishment are in Allah's hands, and the core message he brings is the eternal, consistent message of all prophets.
The passage refutes the ancestral argument by pointing to Abraham, who rejected his people's idolatry, and exposes their denial as mere arrogance, affirming the Prophet's sole duty is to uphold the timeless message of God's oneness.

DAY 349: Zukhruf 16-25
Is it that He has adopted daughters from those whom He has created, and chosen you for (having) sons? When one of them is given the good news of (the birth of) that which he has attributed to RaHmān (i.e. the daughters), his face turns black, and he becomes choked with sorrow. Is it that (Allah has chosen) those (as His offspring) who are grown up in ornaments and who cannot express themselves in debate clearly? Still they have labelled the angels, who are servants of the Most Compassionate, as female. Did they witness their creation? Their statement will be recorded, and they will be questioned! And they argue, “Had the Most Compassionate willed, we would have never worshipped them.” They have no knowledge ˹in support˺ of this ˹claim˺. They do nothing but lie. Or have We given them a Book ˹for proof˺, before this ˹Quran˺, to which they are holding firm? In fact, they say, “We found our forefathers following a ˹particular˺ way, and we are following in their footsteps.” Similarly, whenever We sent a warner to a society before you ˹O Prophet˺, its ˹spoiled˺ elite would say, “We found our forefathers following a ˹particular˺ way, and we are walking in their footsteps.” Each ˹warner˺ asked, “Even if what I brought you is better guidance than what you found your forefathers practicing?” They replied, “We totally reject whatever you have been sent with.” So, We took revenge from them. Now look, how was the end of those who rejected (Our messengers).
(
Hypocrisy of Prejudice: The core attack is on the mental contradiction of assigning to God what they themselves despise.
Critique of Cultural Chauvinism: The Quran challenges the society's devaluation of women by using their own bias as a weapon against their theology.
Rejection of Fatalistic Excuses: People are responsible for their beliefs and cannot blame God for their own choices to follow conjecture over revelation.
The Tyranny of Tradition: The most powerful and damning critique is against taqlīd al-ābā’ (blind following of forefathers). It identifies this as the primary barrier to accepting truth, portraying it not as piety but as intellectual bankruptcy and arrogance.
Historical Warning: This mindset is a recurring cause for the destruction of past civilizations, serving as a clear warning to the contemporaries of the Prophet (PBUH).
These verses ruthlessly expose the hypocritical and illogical core of polytheism, condemning the absurdity of assigning to God what they themselves despise, while attributing their stubborn denial to nothing more than blind, bankrupt adherence to ancestral tradition.

DAY 348: Zukhruf 1 - 15
Ḥâ-Mĩm. By the clear Book! Certainly, We have made it a Quran in Arabic so perhaps you will understand. And indeed, it is—in the Master Record with Us—highly esteemed, rich in wisdom. Should We then turn the ˹Quranic˺ Reminder away from you ˹simply˺ because you have been a transgressing people? ˹Imagine˺ how many prophets We sent to those ˹destroyed˺ before! But no prophet ever came to them without being mocked. So We have destroyed those who were stronger than these (people of Makkah) in power, and the example of the earlier people has already passed. Should you ask them as to who has created the heavens and the earth, they will certainly say, “They are created by the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing,” the One who has made the earth a cradle for you, and has made for you pathways therein, so that you may be guided, and the One who has sent down water from the sky in due measure. Then We have revived with it a dead town. In the same way, you will be brought forth (alive from the graves), and the One who has created all the pairs, and has made for you the boats and the cattle that you ride, so that you may sit firmly on their backs, and remember your Lord’s blessings once you are settled on them, saying, “Glory be to the One Who has subjected these for us, for we could have never done so ˹on our own˺. And surely to our Lord we will ˹all˺ return.” Still the pagans have made some of His creation out to be a part of Him. Indeed, humankind is clearly ungrateful.
(
Divine Origin of the Quran: It is a clear, wise, Arabic revelation from a supreme, preserved source.
Historical Pattern of Denial: Prophets are always mocked, and deniers are ultimately destroyed.
Logical and Natural Proofs of Tawhid: The creation of heavens, earth, rain, pairs, and domesticated animals all point rationally to a single, wise, powerful Creator.
The Irrationality of Shirk: The climax is the stark contradiction between acknowledging the Supreme Creator (v.9) and then worshiping created beings as partners (v.15), which is the height of ingratitude.
Connection between Worldly Life and Hereafter: Blessings are to be enjoyed with gratitude and with consciousness of our ultimate return to God.
The opening verses of Surah Az-Zukhruf establish a powerful contrast: while clear signs in creation and revelation logically point to a single, wise Creator, mankind's ingratitude is starkly revealed in their irrational act of worshiping created beings as His partners.

DAY 347: Shura 47-53
Respond to your Lord before the coming of a Day from Allah that cannot be averted. There will be no refuge for you then, nor ˹grounds for˺ denial ˹of sins˺. But if they turn away, We have not sent you ˹O Prophet˺ as a keeper over them. Your duty is only to deliver ˹the message˺. And indeed, when We let someone taste a mercy from Us, they become prideful ˹because˺ of it. But when afflicted with evil because of what their hands have done, then one becomes totally ungrateful. To Allah ˹alone˺ belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. He creates whatever He wills. He blesses whoever He wills with daughters, and blesses whoever He wills with sons, or grants both, sons and daughters, ˹to whoever He wills˺, and leaves whoever He wills infertile. He is indeed All-Knowing, Most Capable. It is not ˹possible˺ for a human being to have Allah communicate with them, except through inspiration, or from behind a veil, or by sending a messenger-angel to reveal whatever He wills by His permission. He is surely Most High, All-Wise. And so We have sent to you ˹O Prophet˺ a revelation by Our command. You did not know of ˹this˺ Book and faith ˹before˺. But We have made it a light, by which We guide whoever We will of Our servants. And you are truly leading ˹all˺ to the Straight Path— the Path of Allah, to Whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Surely to Allah all matters will return ˹for judgment˺.
(
Verses form the powerful conclusion of Surah Ash-Shura, shifting from descriptions of belief and its consequences to a final, urgent call to heed the revelation before the inevitable Hour arrives, reaffirming the nature of the Quran and the singular role of the Prophet Muhammad
Having painted the vivid, eternal portraits of the believers and the wrongdoers in the Hereafter (v. 36-46), the surah now returns to the present moment with a pressing, urgent tone. It delivers a final admonition, centers the Quran as the ultimate guidance, and definitively states the Prophet's role, culminating in a declaration of the entire message's source and essence.
The Final Ultimatum: A last call to respond before the inescapable Day arrives.
Prophetology Defined: The Prophet's role is purely that of a messenger and warner; he is not a coercive guardian, and his revelation is consistent with Allah's ways of communication.
Sovereignty Over Life: Allah's will governs even the most intimate human affairs (like offspring), challenging cultural vanities.
The Quran Authenticated: It is a revealed light given to an unlearned Prophet, serving as the ultimate guidance for those Allah wills to guide.
The Cosmic Culmination: Every single matter in the universe is on a trajectory that ends with Allah—the ultimate point of return, judgment, and resolution.
The surah concludes with an urgent call to heed the revealed Quran—a divine light guiding to Allah's straight path—before the inescapable Day arrives, affirming that all matters ultimately return to the Sovereign Lord of all existence.

DAY 346: Shura 36-46
So, whatever thing has been given to you is an enjoyment of the worldly life. And that which is with Allah is much better, and much more durable for those who believe and place their trust in Allah, and (for) those who abstain from the major sins and from shameful acts; and (for those who) when they get angry, they forgive, and those who have responded to their Lord (in submission to Him), and have established Salāh, and whose affairs are (settled) with mutual consultation between them, and who spend out of what We have given to them, and those who, when they are subjected to aggression, defend themselves. The reward of an evil deed is its equivalent. But whoever pardons and seeks reconciliation, then their reward is with Allah. He certainly does not like the wrongdoers. There is no blame on those who enforce justice after being wronged. Blame is only on those who wrong people and transgress in the land unjustly. It is they who will suffer a painful punishment. And whoever endures patiently and forgives—surely this is a resolve to aspire to. And whoever Allah leaves to stray will have no guide after Him. You will see the wrongdoers, when they face the torment, pleading, “Is there any way back ˹to the world˺?” And you will see them exposed to the Fire, fully humbled out of disgrace, stealing glances ˹at it˺. And the believers will say, “The ˹true˺ losers are those who have lost themselves and their families on Judgment Day.” The wrongdoers will certainly be in everlasting torment. They will have no protectors to help them against Allah. And whoever Allah leaves to stray, for them there is no way.
(
Verses mark a decisive shift from theological argument and cosmic signs to the practical characteristics and ultimate destinies of the two groups in conflict: the disbelievers and the believers. It defines the true "success" and provides a poignant portrait of the Final Day.
Having established Allah's absolute wisdom behind the distribution of worldly trials (27-35), the surah now answers: "So what should one actually do? What does the 'success' that you choose look like in practice?" This passage provides the tangible profile of the believer and contrasts it with the psychological state and dreadful end of the rejecter.
For Believers:
Obedience: Responding to Allah's call.
Spiritual Discipline: Establishing prayer (iqamat as-salah), the direct link to Allah.
Social Governance: Conducting affairs through mutual consultation (shura). This is a revolutionary concept for tribal, autocratic Arabia, establishing a community based on shared counsel.
Economic Responsibility: Spending charitably from their provision. This is the practical outworking of understanding wealth as a trust from Allah.
For Disbelievers:
The Lost: Those Allah has confirmed in misguidance (due to their own persistent choice) have no helper.
The Scene: The wrongdoers are shown seeing the Punishment. Their only question is a desperate, hopeless wish for a "way back" to the worldly life. They are exposed to the Fire, in a state of absolute humiliation, able only to steal furtive, terrified glances.
The Believers' Verdict: From their secure position, the believers observe and state the objective truth: The real losers are those who have lost their own souls and their families. The punishment is eternal
Profile of the Successful Believer: Defined by reliance on Allah, moral purity, forgiveness, prayer, consultation, charity, and the courage to defend against tyranny.
The Islamic Scale of Justice: Establishes a hierarchy: Permissible retribution → Preferred pardon and reconciliation. It legitimizes self-defense while condemning aggression.
The Ultimate Contrast: Moves from the earthly conduct of the two groups to their inescapable final scenes: the wrongdoers in humiliated despair, the believers bearing witness to divine justice.
The Finality of Choice: The suhammeres home that the choices made in life—to heed or reject, to oppress or forgive—culminate in a reality where no alternatives or helpers exist. The path one chooses becomes their permanent state.
The true success granted by Allah belongs to those believers who, while patiently enduring injustice, combine moral purity with communal consultation and charity, and who will ultimately witness the ruin of the wrongdoers they forgave in this life.

DAY 345: Shura 27-35
Should Allah expand the provision for His servants (to its full extent), they would spread mischief on earth; but He sends down what He wills in (due) measure. Surely, with regard to His slaves, He is All-Aware, Ever-Watchful. And He is the One who sends down rain after they have lost hope, and He extends His mercy. And He is the Guardian, Worthy of all praise. And among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and all living beings He dispersed throughout both. And He is Most Capable of bringing all together whenever He wills. Whatever hardship befalls you is because of what your own hands have committed, while He overlooks many (of your faults). You can never escape ˹Him˺ on earth, nor do you have any protector or helper besides Allah. And among His signs are the ships like mountains ˹sailing˺ in the sea. If He wills, He can calm the wind, leaving the ships motionless on the water. Surely in this are signs for whoever is steadfast, grateful. Or He can wreck the ships for what the people have committed—though He forgives much— so those who dispute about Our signs may know that they have no refuge.
(
Because Allah is the One Almighty Creator (1-12) who sent a consistent message of moral choice (13-26), the distribution of worldly trials and blessings is not random favoritism but a precise, merciful system designed to test, purify, and ultimately prove His sole authority to every patient, grateful, or disputing soul (27-35).
Provision as a Controlled Mercy: Wealth is limited by divine wisdom to prevent universal transgression; it is not a measure of Allah's love.
Calamity as a Purifying Consequence: Disasters are a minor recompense for human misdeeds, vastly outweighed by Allah's habitual pardon.
The Universe as a Book of Signs: Rain, creation, ships, and winds are all Ayat pointing to a Controller who is both Powerful and Merciful.
The Illusion of Human Power: All human achievement and security are contingent upon divine will, which can be withdrawn in an instant.
The Audience of the Signs: The true lessons are internalized by the patient and the grateful, while the disputers are left with the terrifying realization that there is no escape from the reality these signs prove.
Allah's measured control over provision and calamity—limiting wealth to curb human transgression and allowing hardship as a minor consequence for misdeeds while pardoning abundantly—serves as a profound sign for the grateful and the patient, conclusively proving to disputers that there is absolutely no escape from His encompassing power and ultimate judgment.

DAY 344: Shura 20-26
Whoever desires the harvest of the Hereafter, We will increase their harvest. And whoever desires ˹only˺ the harvest of this world, We will give them some of it, but they will have no share in the Hereafter. Or do they have associate-gods who have ordained for them some ˹polytheistic˺ beliefs, which Allah has not authorized? Had it not been for ˹prior˺ decree on Judgment, the matter would have certainly been settled between them ˹at once˺. And surely the wrongdoers will suffer a painful punishment. You will see the wrongdoers fearful ˹of the punishment˺ for what they committed but it will be inevitable for them, whereas those who believe and do good will be in the lush Gardens of Paradise. They will have whatever they desire from their Lord. That is ˹truly˺ the greatest bounty. That ˹reward˺ is the good news which Allah gives to His servants who believe and do good. Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I do not ask you for a reward for this ˹message˺—only honour for ˹our˺ kinship.” Whoever earns a good deed, We will increase it in goodness for them. Surely Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Appreciative. Or do they say, “He has fabricated a lie about Allah!”? ˹If you had,˺ Allah would have sealed your heart, if He willed. And Allah wipes out falsehood and establishes the truth by His Words. He certainly knows best what is ˹hidden˺ deep in the heart. He is the One Who accepts repentance from His servants and pardons ˹their˺ sins. And He knows whatever you do. He responds to those who believe and do good, and increases their reward out of His grace. As for the disbelievers, they will suffer a severe punishment.
(
In essence, the passage moves from universal principles (Theology → History) to the individual's heart, intentions, and intimate relationship with the divine.
The Law of Intention and Amplification: Your primary desire (world vs. Hereafter) dictates your ultimate destination, and Allah multiplies the rewards for sincerity.
The Contrast of Final States: On Judgment Day, wrongdoers face their own deeds in terror, while believers enjoy intimate bounty.
The Prophet's True Reward: The message is offered freely, asking only for love for his family in return, establishing a spiritual economy of love and loyalty over material payment.
Allah's Affirmation of Truth: He defends His revelation by His own power and knowledge, rendering false accusations meaningless.
The Ever-Present Door of Mercy: Allah's acceptance of repentance is always available, emphasizing His forgiving nature in this worldly life.
This passage clarifies that the choice between pursuing worldly gain or the Hereafter dictates one's ultimate fate, with Allah amplifying the rewards for sincere believers, answering their prayers, and accepting repentance, while the Prophet seeks only the spiritual payment of love for his kin, exposing the futility of disbelievers' accusations.

DAY 343: Shura 13-19
He has ordained for you ˹believers˺ the Way which He decreed for Noah, and what We have revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ and what We decreed for Abraham, Moses, and Jesus, ˹commanding:˺ “Uphold the faith, and make no divisions in it.” What you call the polytheists to is unbearable for them. Allah chooses for Himself whoever He wills, and guides to Himself whoever turns ˹to Him˺. They did not split ˹into sects˺ out of mutual envy until knowledge came to them.1 Had it not been for a prior decree from your Lord for an appointed term,2 the matter would have certainly been settled between them ˹at once˺. And surely those who were made to inherit the Scripture3 after them are truly in alarming doubt about this ˹Quran˺. Because of that, you ˹O Prophet˺ will invite ˹all˺. Be steadfast as you are commanded, and do not follow their desires. And say, “I believe in every Scripture Allah has revealed. And I am commanded to judge fairly among you. Allah is our Lord and your Lord. We will be accountable for our deeds and you for yours. There is no ˹need for˺ contention between us. Allah will gather us together ˹for judgment˺. And to Him is the final return.” As for those who dispute about Allah after He is ˹already˺ acknowledged ˹by many˺, their argument is futile in the sight of their Lord. Upon them is wrath, and they will suffer a severe punishment. It is Allah Who has revealed the Book with the truth and the balance ˹of justice˺. You never know, perhaps the Hour is near. Those who disbelieve in it ˹ask to˺ hasten it ˹mockingly˺. But the believers are fearful of it, knowing that it is the truth. Surely those who dispute about the Hour have gone far astray. Allah is Ever Kind to His servants. He provides ˹abundantly˺ to whoever He wills. And He is the All-Powerful, Almighty.
(
Having established Allah's absolute oneness, power, and the reality of the Hereafter (v.1-12), these verses now address the historical continuity of the message, the stubborn rejection it faces, and the divine wisdom behind the timing of reward and punishment.
Unity of Prophetic Message: A single, core religion has been preached by all prophets, with Islam as its final, preserved form.
Root of Division: Sectarianism stems from human jealousy and desire, not from a lack of divine guidance.
Prophetic Methodology: The call is to be delivered with steadfastness, justice, and a deferral of final judgment to Allah.
Futility of Obstinate Argument: Sincere dialogue is encouraged, but disputation after truth is clear is spiritually fatal.
Centrality of the Hereafter: The Hour is the ultimate reality and arbiter. Belief in it defines the believer's consciousness (fearful awareness vs. the disbeliever's mockery).
Divine Wisdom in Provision: Allah's subtlety explains the earthly condition of people; worldly success or poverty is not the final criterion for truth or favor.
This passage asserts that the core religion of pure monotheism revealed to all prophets is one and the same, and while people divided themselves due to rivalry, the believer's duty is to call to this truth with steadfast justice, leaving final judgment to Allah, whose subtle wisdom governs all affairs until the inevitable Hour.

DAY 342: Shura 1-12
Ḥâ-Mĩm. ’Aĩn-Sĩn-Qãf. This is how Allah, the Mighty, the Wise, sends revelation to you and to those who were before you. To him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and He is the High, the Supreme. The heavens almost burst apart from their above side, and angels proclaim the purity and praise of their Lord, and pray for forgiveness of those on the earth. Be aware that Allah is the Most-Forgiving, the Very-Merciful. As for those who take other protectors besides Him, Allah is Watchful over them. And you ˹O Prophet˺ are not a keeper over them. And so We have revealed to you a Quran in Arabic, so you may warn the Mother of Cities and everyone around it, and warn of the Day of Gathering—about which there is no doubt—˹when˺ a group will be in Paradise and another in the Blaze. Had Allah willed, He could have easily made all ˹humanity˺ into a single community ˹of believers˺. But He admits into His mercy whoever He wills. And the wrongdoers will have no protector or helper. How can they take protectors besides Him? Allah alone is the Protector. He ˹alone˺ gives life to the dead. And He ˹alone˺ is Most Capable of everything. And in anything over which you disagree - its ruling is [to be referred] to Allāh. [Say], "That is Allāh, my Lord; upon Him I have relied, and to Him I turn back." He is the Creator of the heavens and the earth. He has made for you pairs from among yourselves, and pairs from the cattle. He makes you expand in this way. Nothing is like Him. And He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing. To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. He extends provision for whomsoever He wills, and straitens (it for whomsoever He wills). Surely He is All-Knowing in respect of every thing.
(
Divine Origin of Revelation: Emphasized through the mysterious letters and the statement of revelation.
Allah's Absolute Attributes: Sovereignty, Wisdom, Power, Transcendence ("nothing like unto Him"), while also being Hearing, Seeing, Forgiving, and Merciful.
The Reality of the Hereafter: The central warning is about the inevitable Day of Judgment and its two outcomes.
The Prophet's Role: He is a warner, not a controller. His duty is to convey the clear Arabic message.
Rejection of Polytheism: A direct critique of taking protectors besides Allah, who is the only true Guardian and Arbitrator.
Allah's Control over Destiny: He could have made all people believe, but He allows for free will and difference as a test. He alone controls all provisions and outcomes.
These opening verses of Surah Ash-Shura establish the core Islamic creed: Allah, the utterly unique and sovereign Creator who reveals guidance, is the only true protector, and all matters must ultimately be referred to His judgment, which culminates in an inevitable Day of Assembly.

DAY 341: Fussilet 45-54
Indeed, We had given Moses the Scripture, but differences arose regarding it. Had it not been for a prior decree from your Lord, their differences would have been settled ˹at once˺. They are truly in alarming doubt about it. Whoever does good, it is to their own benefit. And whoever does evil, it is to their own loss. Your Lord is never unjust to ˹His˺ creation. With Him ˹alone˺ is the knowledge of the Hour. No fruit comes out of its husk, nor does a female conceive or deliver without His knowledge. And ˹consider˺ the Day He will call to them, “Where are My ˹so-called˺ associate-gods?” They will cry, “We declare before you that none of us testifies to that ˹any longer˺.” Whatever ˹idols˺ they used to invoke besides Allah will fail them. And they will realize that they will have no escape. One never tires of praying for good. And if touched with evil, they become desperate and hopeless. And if We let them taste a mercy from Us after being touched with adversity, they will certainly say, “This is what I deserve. I do not think the Hour will ˹ever˺ come. And if in fact I am returned to my Lord, the finest reward with Him will definitely be mine.” But We will surely inform the disbelievers of what they used to do. And We will certainly make them taste a harsh torment. When We show favour to someone, they turn away, acting arrogantly. And when touched with evil, they make endless prayers ˹for good˺. Ask ˹them, O Prophet˺, “Imagine if this ˹Quran˺ is ˹truly˺ from Allah and you deny it: who can be more astray than those who have gone too far in opposition ˹to the truth˺?” We will show them Our signs in the universe and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that this ˹Quran˺ is the truth. Is it not enough that your Lord is a Witness over all things? They are truly in doubt of the meeting with their Lord! ˹But˺ He is indeed Fully Aware of everything.
(
The Pattern of Rejection: History repeats itself (Moses), and human psychology in denial is predictable and fickle.
The Collapse of Shirk: Polytheism is a fantasy that will dissolve in the face of divine reality, leaving its followers abandoned.
Personal Accountability: The justice of the system is absolute—you reap exactly what you sow.
The Universality of Proof: Evidence for the Creator is woven into the fabric of the universe and the human self, waiting to be recognized.
The Futility of Denial: Doubting the meeting with Allah is meaningless, for He already encompasses the doubter completely. Denial is not a position of strength, but of being profoundly lost within the very reality one denies.
The concluding verses expose the fickle, self-serving psychology of disbelievers—who deny the truth despite overwhelming evidence in creation and within themselves—and warn that their rejection will collapse on Judgment Day when they are forced to acknowledge the reality they once mocked.
)

DAY 340: Fussilet 37-44
Among His signs are the day and the night, the sun and the moon. Do not prostrate to the sun or the moon, but prostrate to Allah, Who created them ˹all˺, if you ˹truly˺ worship Him ˹alone˺. But if the pagans are too proud, then ˹let them know that˺ those ˹angels˺ nearest to your Lord glorify Him day and night, and never grow weary. And among His signs is that you see the earth devoid of life, but as soon as We send down rain upon it, it begins to stir ˹to life˺ and swell. Indeed, the One Who revives it can easily revive the dead. He is certainly Most Capable of everything. Indeed, those who abuse Our revelations are not hidden from Us. Who is better: the one who will be cast into the Fire or the one who will be secure on Judgment Day? Do whatever you want. He is certainly All-Seeing of what you do. Indeed, those who deny the Reminder after it has come to them ˹are doomed˺, for it is truly a mighty Book. It cannot be proven false from any angle. ˹It is˺ a revelation from the ˹One Who is˺ All-Wise, Praiseworthy. ˹O Prophet!˺ Nothing is said to you ˹by the deniers˺ except what was already said to the messengers before you. Surely your Lord is ˹the Lord˺ of forgiveness and painful punishment. Had We revealed it as a non-Arabic Quran, they would have certainly argued, “If only its verses were made clear ˹in our language˺. What! A non-Arabic revelation for an Arab audience!” Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “It is a guide and a healing to the believers. As for those who disbelieve, there is deafness in their ears and blindness to it ˹in their hearts˺. It is as if they are being called from a faraway place.”
(
From Universal Signs to Specific Revelation: The passage moves from the universal signs in creation (sun, moon, rain) to the specific, protected sign of the Written Revelation (the Qur'an).
The Purpose of Prostration: The physical act of sujood (v.37) is the proper human response to recognizing Allah's signs, contrasting with the arrogance of the disbelievers.
Divine Consistency: The experience of the Prophet (v.43) and the nature of the message (protected, wise) are part of a consistent, timeless divine pattern.
The Final Arbiter is the Heart: The closing verse returns to the opening theme (v.4-5). The Quran's clarity is objective, but its reception is subjective, determined by faith. It is both a mercy and a criterion (Furqan).
For believers, the Qur'an is a clear guide and healing, but for those who reject it, it's like a distant call they cannot understand.
)

DAY 339: Fussilet 30-36
Surely those who say, “Our Lord is Allah,” and then remain steadfast, the angels descend upon them, ˹saying,˺ “Do not fear, nor grieve. Rather, rejoice in the good news of Paradise, which you have been promised. We are your supporters in this worldly life and in the Hereafter. There you will have whatever your souls desire, and there you will have whatever you ask for: an accommodation from the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful ˹Lord˺.” And whose words are better than someone who calls ˹others˺ to Allah, does good, and says, “I am truly one of those who submit.”? Good and evil cannot be equal. Respond ˹to evil˺ with what is best, then the one you are in a feud with will be like a close friend. But this cannot be attained except by those who are patient and who are truly fortunate. And if you are tempted by Satan, then seek refuge with Allah. Indeed, He ˹alone˺ is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
(
From Terror to Tranquility: The passage shifts from the external doom of enemies (19-29) to the internal peace of the faithful (30-32).
From Blame to Responsibility: The disbelievers blame others (v.29), while believers are taught to take responsibility for their responses, mastering them with goodness.
Active, Not Passive, Goodness: Steadfastness (istiqamah) and repelling evil with good are active, dynamic states, not passive resignation. They are the practical weapons of the believer in spiritual warfare.
Comprehensive Guidance: It covers all spheres:
The End (Promise of Paradise and angelic comfort).
The Means (Steadfastness, Da'wah, Good deeds).
The Method (The ethic of repelling evil with good).
The Internal Safeguard (Seeking refuge from Satan).
Verses 30-36 provide the believer's antidote to persecution: a promise of angelic comfort and Paradise for those steadfast in faith, coupled with the revolutionary command to actively repel evil with superior goodness—a discipline requiring profound patience and divine refuge that can ultimately transform enmity.

DAY 338: Fussilet 19-29
˹Consider˺ the Day ˹when˺ the enemies of Allah will be gathered for the Fire, all driven in ranks. When they reach it, their ears, eyes, and skin will testify against what they used to do. They will ask their skin ˹furiously˺, “Why have you testified against us?” It will say, “We have been made to speak by Allah, Who causes all things to speak. He ˹is the One Who˺ created you the first time, and to Him you were bound to return. You did not ˹bother to˺ hide yourselves from your ears, eyes, and skin to prevent them from testifying against you. Rather, you assumed that Allah did not know much of what you used to do. It was that ˹false˺ assumption you entertained about your Lord that has brought about your doom, so you have become losers.” Even if they endure patiently, the Fire will ˹always˺ be their home. And if they ˹beg to˺ appease ˹their Lord˺, they will never be allowed to. We placed at their disposal ˹evil˺ associates who made their past and future ˹misdeeds˺ appealing to them. ˹So˺ the fate of earlier communities of jinn and humans has been justified against them ˹as well˺, ˹for˺ they were truly losers. And said those who disbelieved, “Do not listen to this Qur’ān, and make noise during its recitation, so that you may overcome.” So We will certainly make the disbelievers taste a severe punishment, and We will surely repay them according to the worst of their deeds. That is the reward of Allah’s enemies: the Fire, which will be their eternal home—a ˹fitting˺ reward for their denial of Our revelations. The disbelievers will ˹then˺ cry, “Our Lord! Show us those jinn and humans who led us astray: we will put them under our feet so that they will be among the lowest ˹in Hell˺.”
(
Complete Exposure vs. Willful Concealment: The testimony of the body parts (20-23) is the direct counter to the idea they could hide from Allah (23). On the Day of Judgment, everything is exposed.
The Psychology of Sin: The passage dissects the sinful mindset: it begins with a faulty assumption about God (He doesn't see), is nurtured by evil companions, hardens into active opposition to the truth, and culminates in a refusal to accept responsibility.
Contrast with the Opening: These verses answer the "warning" function of the Quran mentioned in Verse 4. They depict the ultimate reality of that warning in terrifying detail.
Literary Power: The passage is a masterpiece of scene-setting, dialogue, and psychological insight, moving from a wide shot of "enemies being driven" to an intimate, horrifying close-up of a person's skin testifying against them.
The passage vividly depicts the Day of Judgment, where disbelievers' own body parts testify against them, revealing their fatal assumption that God was unaware of their sins, and culminating in their eternal punishment and bitter regret, devoid of any accountability.

DAY 337: Fussilet 1-18
Ḥâ-Mĩm. ˹This is˺ a revelation from the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. ˹It is˺ a Book whose verses are perfectly explained—a Quran in Arabic for people who know, delivering good news and warning. Yet most of them turn away, so they do not hear. They say, “Our hearts are veiled against what you are calling us to, there is deafness in our ears, and there is a barrier between us and you. So do ˹whatever you want˺ and so shall we!” Say, “I am but a human being like you; it is revealed to me that your god is only One God. So, turn straight towards Him, and seek forgiveness from Him, and woe to the Mushriks (those who ascribe partners to Allah) who do not pay Zakāh ; and of the life of the Hereafter, they are deniers.” ˹But˺ those who believe and do good will certainly have a never-ending reward. Ask ˹them, O Prophet˺, “How can you disbelieve in the One Who created the earth in two Days? And how can you set up equals with Him? That is the Lord of all worlds. He placed on the earth firm mountains, standing high, showered His blessings upon it, and ordained ˹all˺ its means of sustenance—totaling four Days exactly—for all who ask. Then He turned towards the heaven when it was ˹still like˺ smoke, saying to it and to the earth, ‘Submit, willingly or unwillingly.’ They both responded, ‘We submit willingly.’ So He formed the heaven into seven heavens in two Days, assigning to each its mandate. And We adorned the lowest heaven with ˹stars like˺ lamps ˹for beauty˺ and for protection. That is the design of the Almighty, All-Knowing.” If they turn away, then say, “I warn you of a ˹mighty˺ blast, like the one that befell ’Ȃd and Thamûd.” The messengers had come to them from all angles, ˹proclaiming,˺ “Worship none but Allah.” They responded, “Had our Lord willed, He could have easily sent down angels ˹instead˺. So we totally reject what you have been sent with.” As for ’Ȃd, they acted arrogantly throughout the land with no right, boasting, “Who is superior to us in might?” Did they not see that Allah ˹Himself˺, Who created them, was far superior to them in might? Still they persisted in denying Our signs. So We sent against them a furious wind, for ˹several˺ miserable days, to make them taste a humiliating punishment in this worldly life. But far more humiliating will be the punishment of the Hereafter. And they will not be helped. As for Thamûd, We showed them guidance, but they preferred blindness over guidance. So the blast of a disgracing punishment overtook them for what they used to commit. And We delivered those who were faithful and were mindful ˹of Allah˺.

Revelation as Mercy & Clarification: The Qur'an is a detailed, clear mercy from Allah, not a cryptic puzzle.
The Human Prophet & Willful Rejection: The messenger is human; rejection is often an act of pride, not reason.
Tawhid & Steadfastness: The core message is the Oneness of Allah, and the core virtue required is steadfastness, rewarded with angelic comfort and Paradise.
Cosmology as Evidence: The ordered creation is a massive, observable sign pointing to a Single, Omnipotent Creator.
Historical Lessons: History follows a divine pattern: messengers are sent, people reject out of arrogance, and civilizations are punished, with the faithful saved.
The Inevitability of Accountability: The Surah moves from invitation (good news and warning) to logical proof (creation) to historical proof (past nations), building an irrefutable case for the reality of the Hereafter, which is expanded upon in the subsequent verses.
The opening verses of Surah Fussilat present the Quran as a clear, merciful revelation that logically argues for God's Oneness through cosmic order and historical precedent, warning rejecters of the fate of past nations while promising steadfast believers divine comfort and Paradise.

DAY 336: Mumin 69-85
Have you not seen how those who dispute Allah’s signs are turned away? ˹They are˺ the ones who reject this Book and all ˹scriptures˺ We sent Our messengers with. So they will know ˹the consequences˺ when shackles will be around their necks and chains ˹on their legs˺. They will be dragged through boiling water, then burned in the Fire ˹as fuel˺. Then they will be asked, “Where are those ˹idols˺ you used to associate with Allah?” They will cry, “They have ˹all˺ failed us. In fact, we did not invoke anything ˹real˺ before.” This is how Allah leaves the disbelievers to stray. ˹They will be told,˺ “This ˹punishment˺ is for being prideful on earth unjustly and for acting arrogantly. Enter the gates of Hell, to stay there forever. What an evil home for the arrogant!” So be patient ˹O Prophet˺. Surely Allah’s promise is true. Whether We show you some of what We threaten them with, or cause you to die ˹before that˺, to Us they will ˹all˺ be returned. We already sent messengers before you. We have told you the stories of some of them, while others We have not. It was not for any messenger to bring a sign without Allah’s permission. But when Allah’s decree comes, judgment will be passed with fairness, and the people of falsehood will then be in ˹total˺ loss. It is Allah Who made cattle for you so that you may ride some and eat others. Also, you find in them ˹other˺ benefits. And by means of them you may reach destinations you desire. And you are carried upon ˹some of˺ them and upon ships. And He shows you His signs. Now which of Allah’s signs will you deny? Have they not travelled throughout the land to see what was the end of those who were ˹destroyed˺ before them? They were far superior in number and might and ˹richer in˺ monuments throughout the land, but their ˹worldly˺ gains were of no benefit to them. When their messengers came to them with clear proofs, they were prideful in whatever ˹worldly˺ knowledge they had, and were ˹ultimately˺ overwhelmed by what they used to ridicule. When they saw Our punishment, they cried, “˹Now˺ we believe in Allah alone and reject what we had been associating with Him!” But their faith was of no benefit to them when they saw Our torment. This has ˹always˺ been Allah’s way ˹of dealing˺ with His ˹wicked˺ servants. Then and there the disbelievers were in ˹total˺ loss.
(
The Emptiness of Shirk: False gods offer no help and are admitted to be "nothing" in the Hereafter.
Arrogance as the Root Cause: Insolent pride in worldly life is the direct cause of humiliation in the next.
The Prophet's Solace in Divine Timeline: His duty is to deliver the message; the timing of punishment and victory belongs to Allah.
The Overwhelming Evidence: From livestock to history, the signs are so numerous that denial is indefensible.
The Point of No Return: The surah ends with its most severe warning: Faith born of sheer terror at the moment of punishment is invalid and useless. True belief must be chosen now, in this life, before the undeniable reality forces it.
The surah's conclusion exposes the utter futility of idol worship and arrogant denial, warning that when the disbelievers finally believe upon seeing the punishment, it will be too late—true faith must be chosen now, before the inescapable divine command arrives.

DAY 335: Mumin 53-68
And indeed, We gave Moses ˹true˺ guidance, and made the Children of Israel inherit the Scripture— as a guide and advice for people of understanding. So be patient , ˹for˺ Allah’s promise is certainly true. Seek forgiveness for your shortcomings. And glorify the praises of your Lord morning and evening. Surely those who dispute Allah’s signs—with no proof given to them—have nothing in their hearts but greed for dominance, which they will never attain. So seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, He alone is the All-Hearing, All-Seeing. The creation of the heavens and the earth is certainly greater than the re-creation of humankind, but most people do not know. Those blind ˹to the truth˺ and those who can see are not equal, nor are those who believe and do good ˹equal˺ to those who do evil. Yet you are hardly mindful. The Hour is certainly coming, there is no doubt about it. But most people do not believe. Your Lord has said, “Call Me, I will respond to you. Definitely those who show arrogance against worshipping Me shall enter Jahannam (Hell) with disgrace. Allah is the One who made for you the night, so that you may have rest in it, and the day to let you see. Surely, Allah is most kind to people, but most of the people do not offer gratitude. This is Allah, your Lord, the Creator of everything. There is no god but He. Then, from where are you being reversed (by your selfish desires)? Similarly reversed were those who used to deny Our verses. Allah is the One who made for you the earth a place to live, and the sky a roof, and shaped you, and made your shapes so good - and provided you with a lot of good things. That is Allah, your Lord. So, Glorious is Allah, the Lord of the worlds. He is Ever-living. There is no god but He. So worship Him making your submission exclusive for Him. All praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. Say, “I have been ordered not to worship those whom you invoke beside Allah when clear signs from my Lord have (already) come to me, and I have been ordered that I should submit to the Lord of the worlds.” He is the One Who created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then ˹developed you into˺ a clinging clot, then He brings you forth as infants, so that you may reach your prime, and become old—though some of you ˹may˺ die sooner—reaching an appointed time, so perhaps you may understand ˹Allah’s power˺. He is the One who gives life and brings death, and when He decides to do something, He only says to it: “Be” and it comes to be.
(
Be Patient (fasbir): Because the struggle against entrenched denial is long.
Allah's Promise is True: The victory promised to messengers and believers (v.51) is certain.
Maintain Your Worship: Despite the opposition, stay connected to Allah through seeking forgiveness (for personal humility) and praising Him morning and evening (consistent, grateful worship).
Continuity of Revelation: Guidance is a legacy, linking Moses to Muhammad (PBUH).
Psychology of Denial: Rejection stems from pride, not lack of evidence.
The Argument from Scale: The greater creation (heavens and earth) proves the possibility of the lesser (resurrection).
The Argument from Daily Mercy: The systems of night/day and human life-cycles are continuous, personalized signs demanding gratitude and belief.
The Call to a Personal God: Worship is framed as a responsive, personal dialogue with a listening Lord.
The Omnipotence of "Kun!": The final, definitive proof for everything—creation, resurrection, judgment—is Allah's absolute, unstoppable creative command.
Look at how God created you step by step, from nothing to old age—the same Power that did that can easily bring you back to life, so worship Him alone with a sincere heart and be thankful.

DAY 334: Mumin 36-52
Pharaoh ordered, “O Hamân! Build me a high tower so I may reach the pathways leading up to the heavens and look for the God of Moses, although I am sure he is a liar.” And so Pharaoh’s evil deeds were made so appealing to him that he was hindered from the ˹Right˺ Way. But the plotting of Pharaoh was only in vain. And the man who believed urged, “O my people! Follow me, ˹and˺ I will lead you to the Way of Guidance. O my people! This worldly life is only ˹a fleeting˺ enjoyment, whereas the Hereafter is truly the home of settlement. Whoever does an evil deed will only be paid back with its equivalent. And whoever does good, whether male or female, and is a believer, they will enter Paradise, where they will be provided for without limit. O my people! How is it that I invite you to salvation, while you invite me to the Fire! You invite me to disbelieve in Allah and associate with Him what I have no knowledge of, while I invite you to the Almighty, Most Forgiving. There is no doubt that whatever ˹idols˺ you invite me to ˹worship˺ are not worthy to be invoked either in this world or the Hereafter.1 ˹Undoubtedly,˺ our return is to Allah, and the transgressors will be the inmates of the Fire. You will remember what I say to you, and I entrust my affairs to Allah. Surely Allah is All-Seeing of all ˹His˺ servants.” So Allah protected him from the evil of their schemes. And Pharaoh’s people were overwhelmed by an evil punishment: It is the Fire before which they are presented morning and evening. And on the day when the Hour (of final judgment) will take place, (the order will be released,): “Admit the family of Pharaoh into the most severe punishment.” ˹Consider the Day˺ when they will dispute in the Fire, and the lowly ˹followers˺ will appeal to the arrogant ˹leaders˺, “We were your ˹dedicated˺ followers, will you then shield us from a portion of the Fire?” The arrogant will say, “We are all in it! ˹For˺ Allah has already passed judgment over ˹His˺ servants.” And those in the Fire will cry out to the keepers of Hell, “Pray to your Lord to lighten the torment for us ˹even˺ for one day!” The keepers will reply, “Did your messengers not ˹constantly˺ come to you with clear proofs?” They will say, “Yes ˹they did˺.” The keepers will say, “Then pray! Though the prayer of the disbelievers is only in vain.” We certainly help Our messengers and the believers, ˹both˺ in this worldly life and on the Day the witnesses will stand forth ˹for testimony˺— the Day the wrongdoers’ excuses will be of no benefit to them. They will be condemned, and will have the worst outcome.
(
The Believing Man is our role model. He:
-Believed in the God described in the opening—the Almighty, the Forgiver.
-Understood the promise of the Hereafter (v.39-40), a theme from verse 17.
-Trusted his affair to Allah (v.44), just as the principles of the surah demand.
-Was saved by the "Al-Aziz, Al-Alim" from the plots of the arrogant.
Pharaoh is the ultimate warning. He:
-Denied the signs of the "Al-Aziz, Al-Alim."
-Mocked the promise of the "Day of Account" (v.27).
-Fulfilled the role of the one who disputes signs without knowledge.
-Suffered the "severe punishment" and became a "companion of the Fire."
The Peak of Arrogance: Pharaoh's demand to "see God" represents the ultimate rebellion of human power and intellect against the divine.
The Model of the Believer: He combines rational argument, compassionate warning, a clear presentation of the Hereafter, and total reliance on Allah (tawakkul).
The Justice of the Afterlife: Hell is a place of absolute justice where leaders are held accountable for misleading followers, and all are punished for their own choice to reject clear proofs.
The Utter Helplessness of Falsehood: In the Hereafter, false gods offer no help, leaders cannot protect followers, and the disbelievers' own supplications are rendered invalid and futile.
Divine Promise: Despite apparent worldly weakness, Allah guarantees ultimate victory and support for His messengers and the believers in both this life and the next.
Pharaoh's blasphemous demand to "see God" is met with the believing man's final call to salvation and trust in Allah, culminating in Hell's scenes of mutual blame and unanswered pleas—ultimately affirming Allah's inevitable victory for His messengers and believers in this world and the next.

DAY 333: Mumin 21-35
Have they not travelled throughout the land to see what was the end of those ˹destroyed˺ before them? They were far superior in might and ˹richer in˺ monuments throughout the land. But Allah seized them for their sins, and they had no protector from Allah. That was because their messengers used to come to them with clear proofs, but they persisted in disbelief. So Allah seized them. Surely He is All-Powerful, severe in punishment. Indeed, We sent Moses with Our signs and compelling proof to Pharaoh, Hamân, and Korah. But they responded: “Magician! Total liar!” Then, when he came to them with the truth from Us, they said, “Kill the sons of those who believe with him and keep their women.” But the plotting of the disbelievers was only in vain. And Pharaoh said, “Let me kill Moses, and let him call upon his Lord! I truly fear that he may change your traditions or cause mischief in the land.” Moses replied, “I seek refuge in my Lord and your Lord from every arrogant person who does not believe in the Day of Reckoning.” A believing man from Pharaoh’s people, who was hiding his faith, argued, “Will you kill a man1 ˹only˺ for saying: ‘My Lord is Allah,’ while he has in fact come to you with clear proofs from your Lord? If he is a liar, it will be to his own loss. But if he is truthful, then you will be afflicted with some of what he is threatening you with. Surely Allah does not guide whoever is a transgressor, a total liar. O my people! Authority belongs to you today, reigning supreme in the land. But who would help us against the torment of Allah, if it were to befall us?” Pharaoh assured ˹his people˺, “I am telling you only what I believe, and I am leading you only to the way of guidance.” And the man who believed cautioned, “O my people! I truly fear for you the doom of ˹earlier˺ enemy forces— like the fate of the people of Noah, ’Ȃd, Thamûd, and those after them. For Allah would never will to wrong ˹His˺ servants. O my people! I truly fear for you the Day all will be crying out ˹to each other˺— the Day you will ˹try in vain to˺ turn your backs and run away, with no one to protect you from Allah. And whoever Allah leaves to stray will be left with no guide. Joseph already came to you earlier with clear proofs, yet you never ceased to doubt what he came to you with. When he died you said, ‘Allah will never send a messenger after him.’ This is how Allah leaves every transgressor and doubter to stray—those who dispute Allah’s signs with no proof given to them. How despicable is that for Allah and the believers! This is how Allah seals the heart of every arrogant tyrant.”
(
History as Proof: The ruins of more powerful past civilizations stand as tangible evidence that arrogance and rejection of truth lead to destruction.
The Archetype of Tyranny: Pharaoh, Haman, and Korah represent the union of political, bureaucratic, and economic power in opposition to divine truth, using oppression and slander when confronted.
The Voice of Rational Faith: The believing man models how to argue for truth from within a corrupt system—using reason, evidence, historical precedent, and compassionate warning.
The Pattern of Rejection: Denial of prophets is not new; it is a recurring pattern where communities forget past messengers and rationalize their disbelief.
The Root of Disbelief: The ultimate cause is arrogance (istikbār) and disputatiousness without knowledge, which leads to a spiritual sealing of the heart.
The ruins of greater past nations prove that arrogance against truth leads to ruin, as shown by Pharaoh's rejection of Moses and the brave, logical warning from a hidden believer within his own court—a direct lesson for the Humanity.

DAY 332: Mumin 10-20
Indeed, those who disbelieve will be addressed, "The hatred of Allāh for you was [even] greater than your hatred of yourselves [this Day in Hell] when you were invited to faith, but you disbelieved [i.e., refused]." They will say, “Our Lord, You gave us death twice and You gave us life twice. Now we confess our sins. So, is there any way to come out of here?” ˹They will be told,˺ “˹No!˺ This is because when Allah alone was invoked, you (firmly) disbelieved. But when others were associated with Him ˹in worship˺, you ˹readily˺ believed. So ˹Today˺ judgment belongs to Allah ˹alone˺—the Most High, All-Great.” He is the One Who shows you His signs and sends down ˹rain as˺ a provision for you from the sky. ˹But˺ none will be mindful except those who turn ˹to Him˺. So, worship Allah, making your submission exclusive for Him, even though the disbelievers dislike (it). ˹He is˺ Highly Exalted in rank, Lord of the Throne. He sends down the revelation by His command to whoever He wills of His servants to warn ˹all˺ of the Day of Meeting— the Day all will appear ˹before Allah˺. Nothing about them will be hidden from Him. ˹He will ask,˺ “Who does all authority belong to this Day? To Allah—the One, the Supreme! Today every soul will be rewarded for what it has done. No injustice Today! Surely Allah is swift in reckoning.” Warn them ˹O Prophet˺ of the approaching Day when the hearts will jump into the throats, suppressing distress. The wrongdoers will have neither a close friend nor intercessor to be heard. Allah ˹even˺ knows the sly glances of the eyes and whatever the hearts conceal. And Allah judges with the truth, while those ˹idols˺ they invoke besides Him cannot judge at all. Indeed, Allah ˹alone˺ is the All-Hearing, All-Seeing.
(
The Reckoning of Arrogance: The disbelievers' worldly arrogance turns into utter humiliation and despair on the Day of Judgment.
The Finality of Choice: Their punishment is the direct result of their choice to reject Tawhid and embrace Shirk.
The Call to Sincere Worship: In response to Allah's signs, humanity is called to worship Him with pure sincerity, regardless of opposition.
Absolute Divine Sovereignty: On the Day of Judgment, all dominion and authority are undeniably Allah's alone.
Perfect, Personal Justice: Every soul is repaid exactly for its deeds without the slightest injustice, based on Allah's all-encompassing knowledge of both outward actions and secret intentions.
The Utter Failure of False Gods: All beings worshipped besides Allah are proven powerless, offering no friendship or intercession.
Verses depict the disbelievers' ultimate humiliation and confession on Judgment Day, contrasting it with a call to sincere worship, establishing that Allah alone—with His perfect, all-knowing justice—will judge every soul without the slightest injustice, rendering all false gods powerless.
