  • DAY 508: Ali 'Imran 45-63

    •  ˹Remember˺ when the angels proclaimed, “O Mary! Allah gives you good news of a Word from Him, his name will be the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary; honoured in this world and the Hereafter, and he will be one of those nearest ˹to Allah˺. And he will speak to people in ˹his˺ infancy and adulthood and will be one of the righteous.” Mary wondered, “My Lord! How can I have a child when no man has ever touched me?” An angel replied, “So will it be. Allah creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He simply tells it, ‘Be!’ And it is! And Allah will teach him writing and wisdom, the Torah and the Gospel, and ˹make him˺ a messenger to the Children of Israel ˹to proclaim,˺ ‘I have come to you with a sign from your Lord: I will make for you a bird from clay, breathe into it, and it will become a ˹real˺ bird—by Allah’s Will. I will heal the blind and the leper and raise the dead to life—by Allah’s Will. And I will prophesize what you eat and store in your houses. Surely in this is a sign for you if you ˹truly˺ believe. And I will confirm the Torah revealed before me and legalize some of what had been forbidden to you. I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so be mindful of Allah and obey me. Surely Allah is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him ˹alone˺. This is the Straight Path.’” When Jesus sensed disbelief from his people, he asked, “Who will stand up with me for Allah?” The disciples replied, “We will stand up for Allah. We believe in Allah, so bear witness that we have submitted.” ˹They prayed to Allah,˺ “Our Lord! We believe in Your revelations and follow the messenger, so count us among those who bear witness.” And the disbelievers made a plan ˹against Jesus˺, but Allah also planned—and Allah is the best of planners. ˹Remember˺ when Allah said, “O Jesus! I will take you and raise you up to Myself. I will deliver you from those who disbelieve, and elevate your followers above the disbelievers until the Day of Judgment. Then to Me you will ˹all˺ return, and I will settle all your disputes.   As for those who disbelieve, I will subject them to a severe punishment in this life and the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers. And as for those who believe and do good, they will be rewarded in full. And Allah does not like the wrongdoers.” We recite ˹all˺ this to you ˹O Prophet˺ as one of the signs and ˹as˺ a wise reminder. Indeed, the example of Jesus in the sight of Allah is like that of Adam. He created him from dust, then said to him, “Be!” And he was! This is the truth from your Lord, so do not be one of those who doubt. Now, whoever disputes with you ˹O Prophet˺ concerning Jesus after full knowledge has come to you, say, “Come! Let us gather our children and your children, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves—then let us sincerely invoke Allah’s curse upon the liars.” Certainly, this is the true narrative, and there is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Allah. And indeed, Allah ˹alone˺ is the Almighty, All-Wise. If they turn away, then surely Allah has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of the corruptors.
      (
Verses 45-47: The Announcement of the Messiah
Angels announce to Maryam a son called the Messiah, a Word from God, honored in both worlds and among those nearest to Him. He will speak as an infant and as a man. When she asks how it's possible without a man touching her, the answer is absolute: God creates whatever He wills by simply saying "Be," and it is.
Verses 48-51: The Mission of Jesus

Jesus is taught the Book, wisdom, Torah, and Gospel, and sent to the Children of Israel with miracles—creating birds from clay, healing the blind and leper, raising the dead—all explicitly "by God's permission." He confirms the Torah, loosens some restrictions, and his core message is unwavering Tawhid: "Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is the straight path."
Verses 52-54: The Disciples and the Plot
Facing hardened disbelief, Jesus calls for supporters, and the disciples pledge themselves as God's helpers, declaring their faith and submission. As the disbelievers scheme against him, the verse thunders: "They planned, and Allah planned. And Allah is the best of planners."
Verses 55-58: The Elevation and the Final Reckoning

God reveals His counter-plan: Jesus is not crucified but taken and raised up to Him, purified from the disbelievers. His true followers will remain superior until the Day of Resurrection, when all disputes about him will be settled by God's perfect judgment—punishment for rejectors, full reward for the faithful.
      Verses 59-60: The Adamic Analogy
The theological knockout: Jesus's miraculous birth without a father is no proof of divinity. Adam had no father and no mother, created directly from dust by the command "Be." If birthright makes one divine, Adam's claim is stronger—but no one claims that. This is the truth, so don't doubt.
Verses 61-63: The Challenge of Mubahala
After all proofs, the final challenge: gather your sons, women, and yourselves, and invoke God's curse upon the liars. It's a spiritual duel to the death. The passage closes declaring this is the true story, there is no god but Allah, and if they turn away, God knows the corrupters fully. Case closed.

Jesus, announced as the Messiah born of the virgin Maryam by God's sheer command "Be," performed miracles solely by God's permission, called people to worship God alone, was neither crucified nor killed but his earthly life was completed and his soul raised to God in honor like all righteous servants, and any who dispute this truth are invited to a spiritual showdown invoking God's curse upon the liars—case closed.

    DAY 507: Ali 'Imran 33-44

    • Indeed, Allah chose Adam, Noah, the family of Abraham, and the family of ’Imrân above all people ˹of their time˺. They are descendants of one another. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. ˹Remember˺ when the wife of ’Imrân said, “My Lord! I dedicate what is in my womb entirely to Your service, so accept it from me. You ˹alone˺ are truly the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.”  When she delivered, she said, “My Lord! I have given birth to a girl,”—and Allah fully knew what she had delivered—“and the male is not like the female. I have named her Mary, and I seek Your protection for her and her offspring from Satan, the accursed.” So her Lord accepted her graciously and blessed her with a pleasant upbringing—entrusting her to the care of Zachariah. Whenever Zachariah visited her in the sanctuary, he found her supplied with provisions. He exclaimed, “O Mary! Where did this come from?” She replied, “It is from Allah. Surely Allah provides for whoever He wills without limit.” Then and there Zachariah prayed to his Lord, saying, “My Lord! Grant me—by your grace—righteous offspring. You are certainly the Hearer of ˹all˺ prayers.” So the angels called out to him while he stood praying in the sanctuary, “Allah gives you good news of ˹the birth of˺ John (Yahya) who will confirm the Word of Allah and will be a great leader, chaste, and a prophet among the righteous.” Zachariah exclaimed, “My Lord! How can I have a son when I am very old and my wife is barren?” He replied, “So will it be. Allah does what He wills.” Zachariah said, “My Lord! Grant me a sign.” He said, “Your sign is that you will not ˹be able to˺ speak to people for three days except through gestures. Remember your Lord often and glorify ˹Him˺ morning and evening.” And ˹remember˺ when the angels said, “O Mary! Surely Allah has selected you, purified you, and chosen you over all women of the world. O  Mary! Be devout to your Lord, prostrate yourself ˹in prayer˺ and bow along with those who bow down.” This is news of the unseen that We reveal to you ˹O Prophet˺. You were not with them when they cast lots to decide who would be Mary’s guardian, nor were you there when they argued ˹about it˺.
      (
Seeing Maryam's miraculous provision triggers something in Zechariah. He asks not just for any child, but for dhurriyyatan ṭayyibah—a pure, good offspring. God answers immediately through angels while he's still praying: the good news of John (Yaḥyā). His description is glorious: he will confirm the "Word from Allah" (referring to Jesus), be a master of self-control, chaste, and a righteous prophet. Zechariah, old and with a barren wife, asks for a sign. The sign is a temporary, self-imposed silence—three days of communicating only by gestures, and instead, a deepened internal state of constant remembrance and glorification of God. The prayer for a son becomes an opportunity for a deeper spiritual discipline.

       Verses 33-34: The Chosen Lineage
God chose Adam, Noah, Abraham's family, and Imran's family above all creation—a single, interconnected spiritual lineage flowing through one blessed tree, selected with perfect knowledge.
Verses 35-36: The Vow of a Mother
Imran's wife vowed her unborn child to God's service, expected a boy but delivered Maryam, and with profound insight named her and prayed fiercely for her protection from Satan.
Verse 37: The Miraculous Upbringing of Maryam
God beautifully accepted Maryam, placed her under Zechariah's care, and provided her with miraculous provision—prompting her simple confession: "It is from Allah; He provides without account."
Verses 38-41: Zechariah’s Prayer and a Miraculous Son
Inspired by Maryam, Zechariah prayed for a pure son; angels announced John, and his sign was three days of silence devoted to intense remembrance of God.
Verses 42-44: Maryam Elevated and the Casting of Lots
Angels declared Maryam chosen, purified, and elevated above all women, and the Quran confirms its truth by revealing the unseen casting of lots for her guardianship—proof the Prophet wasn't making it up.

God's chosen lineage flows through Adam, Noah, Abraham, and Imran, culminating in the miraculous story of Maryam—vowed to God before birth, divinely provided for, guarded by Zechariah, declared purified above all women, and mother of a miraculous son yet to be announced—all revealed as unseen proof of authentic prophethood.

  • DAY 506: Ali 'Imran 21-32

    •  Indeed, those who deny Allah’s signs, kill the prophets unjustly, and kill people who stand up for justice—give them good news of a painful punishment. They are the ones whose deeds are wasted in this world and the Hereafter. And they will have no helpers. Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Scriptures? Yet when they are invited to the Book of Allah to settle their disputes, some of them turn away heedlessly. This is because they say, “The Fire will not touch us except for a few days.” They have been deceived in their faith by their wishful lying. But how ˹horrible˺ will it be when We gather them together on the Day about which there is no doubt—when every soul will be paid in full for what it has done, and none will be wronged! Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “O Allah! Lord over all authorities! You give authority to whoever You please and remove it from who You please; You honour whoever You please and disgrace who You please—all good is in Your Hands. Surely You ˹alone˺ are Most Capable of everything. You cause the night to pass into the day and the day into the night. You bring forth the living from the dead and the dead from the living. And You provide for whoever You will without limit.” Believers should not take disbelievers as guardians instead of the believers—and whoever does so will have nothing to hope for from Allah—unless it is a precaution against their tyranny. And Allah warns you about Himself. And to Allah is the final return. Say: “Whether you conceal what is in your hearts or reveal it, Allah will know it.” He knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth. Allah is powerful over everything. On the day when everybody shall find present before him whatever good he did and whatever evil he wrought, he will wish there would have been a wide space between him and that (day). Allah warns you of Himself, and Allah is compassionate to (His) servants. Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “If you ˹sincerely˺ love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive your sins. For Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Obey Allah and His Messenger.” If they still turn away, then truly Allah does not like the disbelievers.
      (
This passage cranks up the intensity. It deals with those who actively reject and kill the prophets, the absolute sovereignty of God over power and honor, and then issues a deeply personal, non-negotiable ultimatum: if you claim to love God, you must follow the Prophet.
Verses 21-22: The Serial Rejectors and Their Fate
Those who kill prophets and those who call for justice will get a painful punishment. Their deeds are worthless in this life and the next, and on Judgment Day, they'll have zero helpers—total existential bankruptcy.
Verses 23-25: The Hypocrites of Scripture

Some given Scripture arrogantly turn away when called to God's Book, deluded by their own invented idea that Hell will only touch them for a few days. When the inevitable Day comes, every soul gets exactly what it earned, and their self-made loophole vanishes.
Verses 26-27: The Master of All Power
All sovereignty, honor, and humiliation are in God's hand alone—He gives and takes at will, and all good flows from Him. He flips night into day, pulls life from death, and provides without limit or audit.
Verses 28-30: The Warning Against Deep Alliances
Believers must not take disbelievers as intimate allies over fellow believers, unless genuinely fearing danger. God knows every hidden secret, warns you of Himself directly, and on Judgment Day, people will wish for a vast distance from their own evil deeds.
Verses 31-32: The Love Litmus Test

If you claim to love God, there's only one proof: follow the Prophet. Then God will love you back and forgive you. The equation is simple—obey God and the Messenger, or turn away and fall into those God does not love. No middle ground.

Those who kill the prophets and arrogantly twist scripture are utterly bankrupt, for all power and honor belong to God alone who flips night into day and life from death, so don't form deep alliances with rejectors over fellow believers, and know that the only proof of loving God is following the Messenger—obey and gain His love, or turn away and lose it completely.

    DAY 505: Ali 'Imran 10-20

    • Indeed, neither the wealth nor children of the disbelievers will be of any benefit to them against Allah—and they will be the fuel for the Fire.  Their fate will be like that of the people of Pharaoh and those before them—they all rejected Our signs, so Allah seized them for their sins. And Allah is severe in punishment. Say to those who disbelieve: “You shall soon be overcome and shall be gathered into Hell. Indeed, it is an evil bed (in which) to rest.” Indeed, there was a sign for you in the two armies that met in battle—one fighting for the cause of Allah and the other in denial. The believers saw their enemy twice their number. But Allah supports with His victory whoever He wills. Surely in this is a lesson for people of insight. The enjoyment of ˹worldly˺ desires—women, children, treasures of gold and silver, fine horses, cattle, and fertile land—has been made appealing to people. These are the pleasures of this worldly life, but with Allah is the finest destination. Say: “Shall I tell you what is far better than that? For those who fear (Allah), there are gardens with their Lord, beneath which rivers flow, where they shall live forever, with purified wives, and approval from Allah. Allah is watchful over His servants”. Those (are the ones) who say: “Our Lord, surely we have believed, so forgive us our sins and save us from the punishment of the Fire,” (and those who are) the patient, the truthful and the devout, who spend (in Allah’s way) and who seek forgiveness in pre-dawn hours.” Allah ˹Himself˺ is a Witness that there is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him—and so are the angels and people of knowledge. He is the Maintainer of justice. There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him—the Almighty, All-Wise. Certainly, Allah’s only Way is Islam (  i.e., full submission to the Will of Allah.). Those who were given the Scripture did not dispute ˹among themselves˺ out of mutual envy until knowledge came to them. Whoever denies Allah’s signs, then surely Allah is swift in reckoning. Then, if they argue with you, say: “I have submitted myself to Allah, and (so did) those who have followed me.” And say to those who have been given the Book, and to the unlettered: “Do you submit?” If they submit, they will be on the right path. Yet, if they turn back, then you have only to convey the message. Allah is watchful over (all of) His servants.
      (
This section shifts dramatically from the intimate, theological prayer of the opening verses into a stark, public confrontation between truth and falsehood, belief and disbelief. It lays out the fate of the rejectors, the nature of what deceives humanity, and a powerful call to recognize the true religion and the covenant with God.
      Verses 10-11: The Bankrupt Disbeliever

Wealth and children—the ultimate worldly safety nets—will be worthless on Judgment Day, unable to shield anyone from God. The disbelievers won't just be punished; they'll become the very fuel of the Fire. This isn't a new script but the exact fate of Pharaoh and his like: they denied God's clear signs, so He seized them with devastating force. The law of divine justice doesn't bend.
Verses 12-13: The Two Lessons for the Rejectors

A double prophecy lands hard: defeat in this life, then being herded into Hell in the next. The proof is already visible in the Battle of Badr, where a tiny, outgunned army of believers miraculously crushed a superior force because God threw a psychological illusion into enemy eyes, making the believers appear double their size. The point is razor-sharp: victory isn't a math equation of strength; God grants it to whom He wills, and only those with real vision will absorb the lesson.
Verses 14-15: The Dazzling Trap vs. The Ultimate Promise
Everything humanity craves—spouses, children, hoarded gold, status horses, fertile land—is deliberately "beautified" as a seductive test. Then comes the brutal, dismissive verdict: it's just the fleeting junk of worldly life, nothing more. The real deal is infinitely better: eternal gardens, flowing rivers, perfectly purified spouses, and towering above it all, the ultimate prize—God's own approval and good pleasure. That's the relationship that dwarfs every physical reward.
Verses 16-17: The Portrait of the Promised
The ones who qualify for this aren't angels; they're people who constantly whisper a desperate prayer for forgiveness and protection. Their character is a mosaic: unshakably patient under pressure, totally truthful inside and out, humbly obedient, generous with their wealth. But the secret gem, the mark of their sincerity, is dragging themselves out of warm sleep in the deep darkness before dawn, when no human eye can see, just to stand before God and quietly confess their sins.
Verses 18-20: The Ultimate Witness and The Only True Way

A cosmic courtroom assembles: God Himself testifies to His own oneness, backed by the angels and the people of knowledge, all confirming that creation runs on perfect justice. The verdict is delivered: the only true religion in God's sight is Islām—total, willful submission to Him. The People of the Book didn't fracture over ignorance but out of toxic jealousy after clear knowledge arrived. The Prophet's final marching order is to declare his own total submission, then issue the challenge to Jews, Christians, and pagans alike: "Have you submitted?" If they do, they're guided. If they walk away, his job is done—he only delivers the message. God is watching it all.

Worldly wealth and desires are a fleeting illusion that will not save you from Hell, as proven by Pharaoh's destruction and the miracle of Badr, so recognize that the only true path is total submission to God, marked by a life of patient, generous, pre-dawn repentance, and once the message is delivered, your responsibility ends—God is watching all.

  • DAY 504: Ali 'Imran 1-9

    •  Alif-Lãm-Mĩm. Allah! There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him—the Ever-Living, All-Sustaining. He has revealed to you the Book with the truth, confirming what has been before it, and has sent down the Torah and the Injīl earlier to give guidance to mankind, and has sent down the Furqān (the Criterion of right and wrong). Surely, those who have rejected the verses of Allah, for them there is severe punishment. Allah is Mighty, the Lord of Retribution. Surely, Allah is such that nothing is hidden from Him, neither in the earth nor in the sky. He is the One Who shapes you in the wombs of your mothers as He wills. There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him—the Almighty, All-Wise. He is the One who has revealed to you the Book (the Qur’ān). Out of it there are verses that are MuHkamāt (of established meaning), which are the principal verses of the Book, and some others are Mutashābihāt (whose definite meanings are unknown). Now those who have perversity in their hearts go after such part of it as is mutashābih, seeking (to create) discord, and searching for its interpretation (that meets their desires), while no one knows its interpretation except Allah; and those well-grounded in knowledge say: “We believe therein; all is from our Lord.” Only the men of understanding observe the advice. “Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate from the right path after You have given us guidance, and bestow upon us mercy from Your own. Surely, You, and You alone, are the One who bestows in abundance. Our Lord! You will certainly gather all humanity for the ˹promised˺ Day—about which there is no doubt. Surely Allah does not break His promise.”
      (
The Quran is not a new, standalone message but a confirmation (muṣaddiqan) of a continuous chain of revelation—the Torah and the Gospel. This creates a unified history of prophecy.
The revelation culminates with Al-Furqan (The Criterion). This is the God-given ability to distinguish truth from falsehood, right from wrong. The Quran is called both "the Book" and "the Criterion," showing it contains both beautiful guidance and the sharp standard by which to judge.
The shift to a stern warning here is strategic. It immediately clarifies that this knowledge isn’t just abstract philosophy; it carries the ultimate weight of accountability. Rejecting it after it’s made clear isn’t a harmless mistake but a dangerous denial, met by God’s might and justice.

      Verses 1-2: The Unshakeable Foundation
A divine mystery opens the scene, then the core hits: no god but the Ever-Living, Self-Sustaining One. He needs nothing; everything depends on Him. That's your only anchor.
Verses 3-4: The Chain of Truth and Its Stakes

The Quran isn't a new religion—it confirms the Torah and Gospel and arrives as the Criterion splitting truth from falsehood. The warning is immediate: rejecting this clarity isn't a small mistake; it's fatal.
Verses 5-6: Intimate Creation, Ultimate Knowledge

Every secret in the universe is exposed to Him, and He personally shaped you in the womb however He willed. Your existence isn't an accident; it's His deliberate, wise design.
Verse 7: The Heart’s Litmus Test with Scripture

Deviant hearts skip the clear verses and weaponize the ambiguous ones to stir chaos. Mature hearts anchor in the clear core and say of the rest, "We believe—all of it is from our Lord." That humble surrender is real wisdom.
Verses 8-9: The Only Sane Response—A Prayer for Steadfastness
Knowing how slippery the heart is, the wise don't flex—they beg: "Lord, don't let our hearts deviate after You've guided us, and drown us in Your mercy." Why? Because Judgment Day is a done deal, and only a firm heart survives it.

The surah opens by grounding you in the Ever-Living God who revealed the Quran as the ultimate truth, personally shaped you in the womb, tests your heart by how you approach His words, and leaves you with only one sane response—begging Him to keep your heart firm until the Day you meet Him.

  • DAY 503: Anfal 67-75

    •  It is not fit for a prophet that he should take captives until he has thoroughly subdued the land. You ˹believers˺ settled with the fleeting gains of this world, while Allah’s aim ˹for you˺ is the Hereafter. Allah is Almighty, All-Wise. Had it not been for a prior decree from Allah, you would have certainly been disciplined with a tremendous punishment for whatever ˹ransom˺ you have taken. Now enjoy what you have taken, for it is lawful and good. And be mindful of Allah. Surely Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful. O Prophet! Tell the captives in your custody, “If Allah finds goodness in your hearts, He will give you better than what has been taken from you, and forgive you. For Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” But if their intention is only to betray you ˹O Prophet˺, they sought to betray Allah before. But He gave you power over them. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. Those who believed, emigrated, and strived with their wealth and lives in the cause of Allah, as well as those who gave them shelter and help—they are truly guardians of one another. As for those who believed but did not emigrate, you have no obligations to them until they emigrate. But if they seek your help ˹against persecution˺ in faith, it is your obligation to help them, except against people bound with you in a treaty. Allah is All-Seeing of what you do. As for the disbelievers, they are guardians of one another. And unless you ˹believers˺ act likewise, there will be great oppression and corruption in the land. Those who believed, migrated, and struggled in the cause of Allah, and those who gave ˹them˺ shelter and help, they are the true believers. They will have forgiveness and an honourable provision. And those who later believed, migrated, and struggled alongside you, they are also with you. But only blood relatives are now entitled to inherit from one another, as ordained by Allah. Surely Allah has ˹full˺ knowledge of everything.
      (
The final section of the surah, covering the ruling on prisoners of war, the Battle of Badr's prisoners specifically, divine decree, and the concluding principles of brotherhood, alliance, and inheritance among believers.

67    Correction on prisoners    Captives should be taken only after the enemy is thoroughly subdued. You desired worldly gain (ransom), but Allah desires the Hereafter.
68    Divine mercy    If not for a prior decree, you would have faced great punishment for taking ransom.
69    Spoils are lawful    Consume what you took as spoils — it is lawful and good. Fear Allah moving forward. He is Forgiving and Merciful.
70    Address to captives    If Allah knows any good in your hearts, He will give you better than what was taken and forgive you.
71    Warning of betrayal    If they intend to betray you, they betrayed Allah before, and He gave you victory over them.
72    Alliance of believers    Emigrants and helpers are allies. Those who believe but do not emigrate are not under your protection until they emigrate. But help them if they seek help for religion, unless a treaty prevents it.
73    Disbelievers are allies    Disbelievers unite against you. If you do not unite, there will be fitnah and great corruption.
74    True believers    The emigrants and helpers are the true believers. For them is forgiveness and noble provision.
75    Later believers and inheritance    Later emigrants and fighters are part of you. But blood relatives are more entitled to inheritance. Allah knows all things.

After the Battle of Badr, Allah gently corrected the Prophet and the companions for taking ransom before fully subduing the enemy, declared the spoils lawful, promised better for captives who truly believe, established the alliance system between emigrants and helpers, warned that disbelievers unite against believers so believers must unite, and returned inheritance rights to blood relatives.

25 Mayıs 2026 Pazartesi

  • DAY 502: Anfal 55-66

    •  Indeed, the worst of all beings in the sight of Allah are those who persist in disbelief, never to have faith— ˹namely˺ those with whom you ˹O Prophet˺ have entered into treaties, but they violate them every time, not fearing the consequences. If you ever encounter them in battle, make a fearsome example of them, so perhaps those who would follow them may be deterred. And if you ˹O Prophet˺ see signs of betrayal by a people, respond by openly terminating your treaty with them. Surely Allah does not like those who betray. Do not let those disbelievers think they are not within reach. They will have no escape. Prepare against them what you ˹believers˺ can of ˹military˺ power and cavalry to deter Allah’s enemies and your enemies as well as other enemies unknown to you but known to Allah. Whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be paid to you in full and you will not be wronged. If the enemy is inclined towards peace, make peace with them. And put your trust in Allah. Indeed, He ˹alone˺ is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing. But if their intention is only to deceive you, then Allah is certainly sufficient for you. He is the One Who has supported you with His help and with the believers. He brought their hearts together. Had you spent all the riches in the earth, you could not have united their hearts. But Allah has united them. Indeed, He is Almighty, All-Wise. O  Prophet! Allah is sufficient for you and for the believers who follow you. O Prophet! Motivate the believers to fight. If there are twenty steadfast among you, they will overcome two hundred. And if there are one hundred of you, they will overcome one thousand of the disbelievers, for they are a people who do not comprehend. Now Allah has lightened your burden, for He knows that there is weakness in you. So if there are a hundred steadfast among you, they will overcome two hundred. And if there be one thousand, they will overcome two thousand, by Allah’s Will. And Allah is with the steadfast.
      (
These verses follow the warning about the fate of Pharaoh's people (v52–54) and the principle that Allah does not change a people's condition until they change themselves (v53). Now Allah turns to the practical reality of treaties and warfare with the disbelievers of Arabia, followed by divine encouragement for the believers who feel outnumbered.

55    Worst creatures    Those who disbelieve and persist in disbelief are worse than animals.
56    Treaty-breakers    They break treaties repeatedly and do not fear Allah.
57    Make an example    When you defeat them, punish them severely so others learn.
58    Renounce treaties openly    If you fear treachery, announce the treaty's end on equal terms. Allah does not love the treacherous.
59    No escape from Allah    Disbelievers cannot outrun Allah's plan or punishment.
60    Military preparation    Prepare all the power and horses you can to terrify the enemy. Spend in Allah's cause; it will be repaid.
61    Incline to peace    If the enemy wants peace, accept it and trust Allah.
62    Deception    If they intend to deceive you, Allah is sufficient. He supported you before.
63    Unity of hearts    Only Allah can unite hearts. No amount of spending can create true brotherhood.
64    Allah is sufficient    For the Prophet and all believers, Allah alone is enough.
      65    First ratio (1:10)    20 patient believers overcome 200; 100 overcome 1,000.
66    Lighter ratio (1:2)    Allah lightened the burden: 100 overcome 200; 1,000 overcome 2,000. Allah is with the patient.

Treaties must be honored or renounced openly; treachery is forbidden even toward enemies. Muslims must prepare military strength to deter aggression, but always incline to peace when offered. True unity of hearts comes only from Allah. And in battle, Allah has lightened the burden: outnumbered believers (1:2) can still overcome the disbelievers by His permission — not because of numbers, but because of patience and trust in Allah.

  • DAY 501: Anfal 45-54

    •  O believers! When you face an enemy, stand firm and remember Allah often so you may triumph. Obey Allah and His Messenger and do not dispute with one another, or you would be discouraged and weakened. Persevere! Surely Allah is with those who persevere. Do not be like those ˹pagans˺ who left their homes arrogantly, only to be seen by people and to hinder others from Allah’s Path. And Allah is Fully Aware of what they do. And ˹remember˺ when Satan made their ˹evil˺ deeds appealing to them, and said, “No one can overcome you today. I am surely by your side.” But when the two forces faced off, he cowered and said, “I have absolutely nothing to do with you. I certainly see what you do not see. I truly fear Allah, for Allah is severe in punishment.” ˹Remember˺ when the hypocrites and those with sickness in their hearts said, “These ˹believers˺ are deluded by their faith.” But whoever puts their trust in Allah, surely Allah is Almighty, All-Wise. If only you could see when the angels take the souls of the disbelievers, beating their faces and backs, ˹saying,˺ “Taste the torment of burning! This is ˹the reward˺ for what your hands have done. And Allah is never unjust to ˹His˺ creation.” Their fate is that of the people of Pharaoh and those before them—they all disbelieved in Allah’s signs, so Allah seized them for their sins. Indeed, Allah is All-Powerful, severe in punishment. This is because Allah would never discontinue His favour to a people until they discontinue their faith. Surely Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. That was the case with Pharaoh’s people and those before them—they all rejected the signs of their Lord, so We destroyed them for their sins and drowned Pharaoh’s people. They were all wrongdoers.
      (
These verses follow directly from the Badr narrative (v42–44). After describing how Allah showed the two armies to each other as few to accomplish His decree, Allah now gives direct commands to the believers on how to conduct themselves in battle, followed by warnings about the fate of those who oppose Allah and His Messenger.
The proper relationship between the believer and Allah after a major victory — how to handle spoils, how to obey, how to fight, how to avoid the traps of arrogance, hypocrisy, and love of wealth, and how to learn from the example of the disbelievers who were destroyed before.

      The principle of change
"That is because Allah would not change a favor which He had bestowed upon a people until they change what is within themselves."
This explains why the Quraysh lost their favor (prophet among them, guardianship of Ka'bah) and why believers gained victory (they changed from fear to faith, from weakness to tawakkul).

v29 – Taqwa brings furqan, forgiveness, great bounty.
v30–37 – Quraysh plotted, mocked, spent wealth. They will be heaped into Hell.
v38–40 – Ultimatum: Cease or face destruction. Fight until fitnah ends. Allah is your Protector.
v41 – Spoils distribution (khums) for those who believe in Yawm al-Furqan (Badr).
v42–44 – Badr: unexpected timing, visual miracles, armies appearing small to each other.
v45–46 – Battle commands: stand firm, remember Allah, obey, don't dispute, be patient.
v47–48 – Don't be like Quraysh (arrogant show-offs) or rely on Satan (who betrays).
v49 – Hypocrites mock tawakkul, but tawakkul is true strength.
v50–54 – Death of disbelievers: angels beat them. The principle: Allah does not change a people's state until they change themselves. Example of Pharaoh as warning.

45    Stand firm and remember Allah    In battle, steadfastness + dhikr = success.
46    Obey, don't dispute, be patient    Dispute removes courage and strength. Allah is with the patient.
47    Don't be like arrogant disbelievers    They left Makkah to show off, not for justice. Allah encompasses them.
48    Satan's promise and betrayal    Iblis promised the Quraysh victory, then fled when he saw angels. He is no protector.
49    Hypocrites mock tawakkul    They said believers are deluded. But tawakkul on Allah (Aziz, Hakim) is wisdom, not foolishness.
50    Angels seizing disbelievers' souls    At death, angels beat their faces and backs: "Taste the Burning."
51    Justice, not injustice    Punishment is from their own deeds. Allah never wrongs anyone.
52    Example of Pharaoh's people    They disbelieved signs, so Allah seized them. Allah is Powerful, severe in penalty.
53    The principle of change    Allah does not change a people's blessing until they change what is within themselves.
54    Repetition of Pharaoh's destruction    They denied signs, were destroyed. All were wrongdoers.

Victory in battle comes not from numbers or weapons but from steadfastness, obedience, remembrance of Allah, and tawakkul (reliance on Him). The disbelievers rely on pride, showing off, and Satan's empty promises — all of which betray them. The principle is eternal: Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change what is within themselves. The fate of Pharaoh's people awaits those who reject clear signs and persist in wrongdoing.

  • DAY 500: Anfal 38-44

    •  Tell the disbelievers that if they desist, their past will be forgiven. But if they persist, then they have an example in those destroyed before them. Fight against them until there is no more persecution—and ˹your˺ devotion will be entirely to Allah. But if they desist, then surely Allah is All-Seeing of what they do. And if they do not comply, then know that Allah is your Protector. What an excellent Protector, and what an excellent Helper! Know that whatever spoils you take, one-fifth is for Allah and the Messenger, his close relatives, orphans, the poor, and ˹needy˺ travellers, if you ˹truly˺ believe in Allah and what We revealed to Our servant on that decisive day when the two armies met ˹at Badr˺. And Allah is Most Capable of everything. ˹Remember˺ when you were on the near side of the valley, your enemy on the far side, and the caravan was below you. Even if the two armies had made an appointment ˹to meet˺, both would have certainly missed it. Still it transpired so Allah may establish what He had destined—that those who were to perish and those who were to survive might do so after the truth had been made clear to both. Surely Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. ˹Remember, O  Prophet,˺ when Allah showed them in your dream as few in number. Had He shown them to you as many, you ˹believers˺ would have certainly faltered and disputed in the matter. But Allah spared you ˹from that˺. Surely He knows best what is ˹hidden˺ in the heart. Then when your armies met, Allah made them appear as few in your eyes, and made you appear as few in theirs, so Allah may establish what He had destined. And to Allah ˹all˺ matters will be returned ˹for judgment˺.
      (
These verses continue directly from the previous section. After describing the disbelievers' plots, their empty worship, and their spending to block Islam (v30–37), Allah now gives a clear warning and an ultimatum to the Quraysh, followed by a detailed description of the Battle of Badr as a divine act of separation.
v29 – Taqwa brings furqan (criterion), forgiveness, and great bounty.
v30–37 – The Quraysh plotted, mocked the Quran, spent wealth to block Islam. Their worship was empty. They will be heaped into Hell.
v38–40 – Ultimatum: Cease or face destruction. Fight until fitnah ends. Allah is your Protector.
v41 – Spoils distribution law (khums) for those who believe in the Day of Criterion (Badr).
v42–44 – The Battle of Badr: Unexpected timing, perfect divine planning, visual miracles that gave confidence to believers and misled the disbelievers. All to accomplish what was already destined.

38    Ultimatum to Quraysh    If they cease hostility, forgiveness. If they return, destruction like previous nations.
39    Purpose of fighting    Fight until there is no fitnah (persecution/shirk) and religion is for Allah. If they stop, stop.
40    Divine protection    If they turn away, Allah is your Protector and Helper — the best of all.
41    Distribution of spoils    1/5 for Allah, Prophet, relatives, orphans, needy, wayfarer — if you believe in the Day of Criterion (Badr).
42    Unexpected meeting    You didn't plan to meet at Badr, but Allah destined it — so that victory and death would come with clear evidence.
43    Prophet's dream    Allah showed the enemy as few in the Prophet's dream to prevent fear and dispute.
44    Visual miracle on battlefield    Allah made each army appear small to the other — to accomplish His decree without panic or overconfidence.

The Battle of Badr was not a coincidence but a carefully orchestrated divine event: Allah gave the Quraysh a final ultimatum, defined the purpose of fighting (ending fitnah), revealed the law of spoils as a test of faith, and then showed His control over perception itself — making armies appear small or large — to accomplish His decree with clear evidence, so that no one would have an excuse on Judgment Day.

  • DAY 499: Anfal 29-37

    •  O believers! If you are mindful of Allah, He will grant you a decisive authority, absolve you of your sins, and forgive you. And Allah is the Lord of infinite bounty. And ˹remember, O  Prophet,˺ when the disbelievers conspired to capture, kill, or exile you. They planned, but Allah also planned. And Allah is the best of planners. Whenever Our revelations are recited to them, they challenge ˹you˺, “We have already heard ˹the recitation˺. If we wanted, we could have easily produced something similar. This ˹Quran˺ is nothing but ancient fables!” And ˹remember˺ when they prayed, “O Allah! If this is indeed the truth from You, then rain down stones upon us from the sky or overcome us with a painful punishment.” But Allah would never punish them while you ˹O Prophet˺ were in their midst. Nor would He ever punish them if they prayed for forgiveness. And why should Allah not punish them while they hinder pilgrims from the Sacred Mosque, claiming to be its rightful guardians? None has the right to guardianship except those mindful ˹of Allah˺, but most pagans do not know. Their prayer at the Sacred House was nothing but whistling and clapping. So taste the punishment for your disbelief. Surely the disbelievers spend their wealth to hinder others from the Path of Allah. They will continue to spend to the point of regret. Then they will be defeated and the disbelievers will be driven into Hell, so Allah may separate the evil from the good. He will pile up the evil ones all together and then cast them into Hell. They are the ˹true˺ losers.
      (
These verses follow directly from the commands and warnings of verses 20–28. After warning about obedience, not betraying trusts, and the trial of wealth and children, Allah now gives hope, a criterion for right and wrong, and a sobering look at the rejection of the disbelievers.
v20–28 – Commands: Obey, don't turn away, don't betray trusts, wealth and children are a test.
v29 – The solution: Taqwa brings furqan, forgiveness, and great bounty.
v30–37 – Case study of the Quraysh: They plotted, but Allah outplotted. They heard the Quran and mocked it. They challenged punishment but were shielded by the Prophet's presence. After the Prophet left, punishment became due. Their worship was empty. Their wealth bought them regret. They will be heaped into Hell.

29    Taqwa brings Furqan    Fear Allah, and He gives you the light to see right from wrong, erases your sins, and forgives you.
30    The Makkah plot    The disbelievers planned to kill the Prophet, but Allah outplanned them. Allah is the best of planners.
31    Disbelievers' excuse    They heard the Quran but called it "legends of the ancients" out of arrogance.
32–33    Delay of punishment    Allah did not destroy them because the Prophet was among them and there were those seeking forgiveness.
34    No more shield    After Hijra, the protection is gone. They bar people from the Ka'bah yet are not its true guardians.
35    Their empty worship    Their "prayer" was whistling and clapping – not submission.
36    Wealth spent to block Islam    They spend wealth to oppose Allah, but it becomes regret, then defeat, then Hell.
37    Separation and heap    Allah separates wicked from good, then heaps the wicked into Hell. They are the losers.

Taqwa gives you the light to see truth from falsehood, protects you from the fate of the disbelievers who plotted, spent wealth arrogantly, and will be heaped into Hell as the true losers.

  • DAY 498: Anfal 20-28

    •  O believers! Obey Allah and His Messenger and do not turn away from him while you hear ˹his call˺. Do not be like those who say, “We hear,” but in fact they are not listening. Indeed, the worst of all beings in the sight of Allah are the ˹wilfully˺ deaf and dumb, who do not understand. Had Allah found any goodness in them, He would have certainly made them hear. ˹But˺ even if He had made them hear, they would have surely turned away heedlessly. O believers! Respond to Allah and His Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah stands between a person and their heart, and that to Him you will all be gathered. Beware of a trial that will not only affect the wrongdoers among you. And know that Allah is severe in punishment. Remember when you had been vastly outnumbered and oppressed in the land, constantly in fear of attacks by your enemy, then He sheltered you, strengthened you with His help, and provided you with good things so perhaps you would be thankful. O believers! Do not betray Allah and the Messenger, nor betray your trusts knowingly. And know that your wealth and your children are only a test and that with Allah is a great reward.
      (
After establishing that Anfal (the entire outcome of battle) belongs to Allah and the Messenger, and after reminding the believers of Badr as proof of divine help, Allah now gives commands, warnings, and psychological insights to protect the Muslim community from internal collapse.
20–21    Obedience without turning away    Don't just say "we hear" – actually obey.
22–23    Deaf and dumb disbelievers    The worst are those who hear truth but refuse to reason and submit.
24    Respond to the life-giving call    Allah controls hearts. Respond to the Prophet before it's too late.
25    General fitnah    Punishment can strike everyone when sin spreads.
26    Remember past weakness    Gratitude for shelter, victory, provision.
27    No betrayal    Don't betray Allah, the Prophet, or your trusts knowingly.
28    Wealth and children are a test    Don't let love of them lead you to betray Allah.

v1–19 – Badr victory: Spoils belong to Allah and Prophet. True believers obey, don't flee. God kills, not you.
v20–28 – Post-victory commands: Obey without turning away. Don't be like hypocrites. Respond to the call that gives life. Fear collective punishment. Remember your weakness before Islam. Don't betray trusts. Your wealth and children are a test.

Victory doesn't mean you can now relax into arrogance, hypocrisy, or betrayal. Victory is a test. Your wealth, children, and even your own heart are in Allah's control. So respond, obey, and fear betrayal.

20 Mayıs 2026 Çarşamba

  • DAY 497: Anfal 1 - 19

    •  They ask you ˹O Prophet˺ regarding the spoils of war. Say, “Their distribution is decided by Allah and His Messenger. So be mindful of Allah, settle your affairs, and obey Allah and His Messenger if you are ˹true˺ believers.” The ˹true˺ believers are only those whose hearts tremble at the remembrance of Allah, whose faith increases when His revelations are recited to them, and who put their trust in their Lord. (They are) those who establish Salāh, and give away from what We have given to them. Those are the believers in reality. For them there are high ranks with their Lord, and forgiveness, and dignified provision. It is like when your Lord made you leave your home for the sake of truth, while a group from the believers were averse to it; They disputed with you about the truth after it had been made clear, as if they were being driven to death with their eyes wide open. ˹Remember, O  believers,˺ when Allah promised ˹to give˺ you the upper hand over either target, you wished to capture the unarmed party. But it was Allah’s Will to establish the truth by His Words and uproot the disbelievers; to firmly establish the truth and wipe out falsehood—even to the dismay of the wicked. ˹Remember˺ when you cried out to your Lord for help, He answered, “I will reinforce you with a thousand angels—followed by many others." And Allah made this a sign of victory and reassurance to your hearts. Victory comes only from Allah. Surely Allah is Almighty, All-Wise. ˹Remember˺ when He caused drowsiness to overcome you, giving you serenity. And He sent down rain from the sky to purify you, free you from Satan’s whispers, strengthen your hearts, and make ˹your˺ steps firm. ˹Remember, O  Prophet,˺ when your Lord revealed to the angels, “I am with you. So make the believers stand firm. I will cast horror into the hearts of the disbelievers. So strike their necks and strike their fingertips.” This is because they defied Allah and His Messenger. And whoever defies Allah and His Messenger, then ˹know that˺ Allah is surely severe in punishment. That ˹worldly punishment˺ is yours, so taste it! Then the disbelievers will suffer the torment of the Fire. O believers! When you face the disbelievers in battle, never turn your backs to them. And whoever does so on such an occasion—unless it is a manoeuvre or to join their own troops—will earn the displeasure of Allah, and their home will be Hell. What an evil destination! It was not you ˹believers˺ who killed them, but it was Allah Who did so. Nor was it you ˹O Prophet˺ who threw ˹a handful of sand at the disbelievers˺,1 but it was Allah Who did so, rendering the believers a great favour. Surely Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. As such, Allah frustrates the evil plans of the disbelievers. If you ˹Meccans˺ sought judgment, now it has come to you. And if you cease, it will be for your own good. But if you persist, We will persist. And your forces—no matter how numerous they might be—will not benefit you whatsoever. For Allah is certainly with the believers.
      (
Spoils – ultimate authority belongs to God and Prophet.
True faith – fear of God, increased faith by Quran, reliance on Him, prayer, charity.
Reluctance to fight – human weakness overcome by divine command.
      Divine choice
      – God’s wisdom chooses harder battle to destroy falsehood.
Angelic aid – for reassurance, not reliance.
Steadfastness – fleeing battlefield (except tactical reasons) is a grave sin.
Divine causality – God is the true agent behind human actions.
Warning to disbelievers – Badr was a clear sign; return to hostility will be met with punishment.

The entire outcome of battle—victory, spoils, and enemy defeat—is a divine gift from Allah, not a wage earned by human effort, so true believers obey Allah and His Messenger, reconcile among themselves, stand firm in battle, and trust that Allah alone grants success.

19 Mayıs 2026 Salı

  • DAY 496: Baqarah Summary

    •  Surah Al-Baqarah opens with three kinds of people — believers, disbelievers, and hypocrites — and calls all humanity to worship the One who created them. It tells the story of Adam: created with purpose, fell through pride, but found the door of repentance open. Then it presents the Children of Israel as the negative example — a people who broke covenants, twisted scripture, killed prophets, and claimed exclusive salvation. Then Abraham as the positive example — submitted, tested, built the Kaaba, prayed for future generations. Then the change of qibla tests loyalty. Then patience and prayer are the tools. Then signs in creation. Then a warning about misplaced love and concealing truth. Then the definition of true righteousness: belief, giving what you love, prayer, keeping promises, patience. Then practical laws about fasting, marriage, divorce, justice, fighting, pilgrimage. Then the story of Talut and David — a small army defeats a giant by Allah's permission. Then Ayat al-Kursi — the Throne Verse — declaring who Allah is. Then proofs of resurrection. Then the command to spend (infaq), give charity (sadaqah), and purify wealth (zakah). Then the prohibition of interest (riba) — a line in the sand. Then the longest verse about writing debts and taking witnesses. And finally, the closing promise: "Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity" — and the believers' prayer for forgiveness, ease, and victory.

      Three Kinds of People
Believers    Believe in the unseen, pray, give charity, believe in all scriptures, certain of the Hereafter    Success
Disbelievers    Warning makes no difference — hearts and hearing sealed, vision veiled    Great punishment
Hypocrites    Say "We believe" with tongues, hearts empty — deceive themselves, mock believers    Painful punishment, most dangerous

The Call to All Humanity + The Story of Adam
Allah addresses all of humanity: worship your Lord who created you. Look at the earth as a bed, the sky as a ceiling, the rain bringing fruit. The challenge: if you doubt the Quran, produce one chapter like it.
Then the story of Adam:You were created for a purpose. You will fail. But the door of repentance is always open.

The Children of Israel — A Case Study in Failure
This is the longest section. The Children of Israel are presented as the negative example — a people who received every blessing and broke every covenant.
      Key Events in Their History:
Saved from Pharaoh    Worshipped the calf within weeks    Punishment, but forgiven
Given the Torah    Broke the Sabbath with loopholes    Turned into apes
Commanded to slaughter a cow    Argued endlessly until it became nearly impossible    Almost lost the miracle
Sent prophets    Killed some, rejected others    Cursed and humiliated
Claimed exclusive salvation    "Fire will only touch us a few days"    Refuted — no VIP pass
      The Covenant They Broke:
          Worship only Allah.
Good to parents, relatives, orphans, needy.
          Speak good to people.
          Establish prayer, give zakah.
Do not shed blood, do not evict from homes.

      The Hypocrites Among Them:
Some said "We hear and disobey."
They twisted words, sought approval from those who reject truth.
They claimed "Only Jews or Christians will enter Paradise."
Allah refutes: whoever submits to Allah and does good — their reward is with their Lord.

      Abraham — The Positive Example
After the negative example, Allah presents the positive example: Abraham.
      Aspect    Abraham's Example
      Tested    Passed every test
Leadership    Made a leader (imam) for all people
Covenant    "My covenant does not include wrongdoers" — lineage does not guarantee anything
Building    Built the Kaaba with Ishmael — a place of return and security
Prayer    Prayed for a submissive nation and for a messenger from his descendants (Muhammad)
Identity    Neither Jew nor Christian — a hanif (pure monotheist)

      The Definition of Righteousness
      The heart of the surah.
"Righteousness is not turning your faces toward East or West. Rather, righteousness is belief in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets; and giving wealth, despite loving it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask, and for freeing slaves; and establishing prayer and giving zakah; and fulfilling promises; and patience in poverty, hardship, and battle. Those are the ones who are true — those are the righteous."

      Practical Laws for Life
The surah now gives detailed laws for human society:
Retribution for murder    178–179    Life for life — but pardon and blood money is better. Retribution saves lives.
Wills    180–182    Leave a bequest for parents and relatives. Do not change it. Intervening to correct an unjust will is peacemaking, not betrayal.
Fasting (Ramadan)    183–187    Prescribed to develop righteousness. Ease, not hardship. The Quran was revealed in Ramadan.
The nearness of Allah    186    "When My servants ask you about Me — indeed I am near. I answer the call of the caller."
Intimacy during fasting    187    Permitted at night. "They are a garment for you, and you are a garment for them."
Fighting in self-defense    190–195    Fight those who fight you — do not transgress. Oppression (fitnah) is worse than killing. Stop when they stop.
Hajj    196–203    Complete the pilgrimage. No sex, no disobedience, no arguing. Best provision is righteousness. Pray for good in this world and the next.

      Trusting Allah Against All Odds
      Stories of trust:
Those who fled death — Allah said "Die" then brought them back to life.
Talut and Jalut (Saul and Goliath) — a small, patient, disciplined army defeats a giant.
David kills Goliath — Allah gives him kingship and wisdom.
Principle: "How many a small company has overcome a large company by permission of Allah. Allah is with the patient."

      Ayat al-Kursi and No Compulsion
The greatest verse in the Quran:
"Allah — there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation does not burden Him. And He is the Most High, the Most Great."

      Resurrection — Proofs and Parables
      Three stories proving resurrection:
Abraham and the tyrant king — "Allah brings the sun from the east — you bring it from the west." The king was confounded.
The man who passed a ruined city — wondered how Allah could bring it back. Allah caused him to die for 100 years, then raised him. His food was preserved, his donkey's bones were raised and covered with flesh.
Abraham's request — "Show me how You give life to the dead." Allah said, "Have you not believed?" Abraham said, "Yes, but so that my heart may be at ease." Allah told him to take four birds, tame them, scatter them on hills, then call them — they came quickly.

Spending in the Way of Allah — Infaq, Sadaqah, Zakah

      The economics of the soul:
      Term    Root Meaning    Action
Infaq    To exhaust, spend completely    Give whatever is beyond your need — trust Allah to replace it.
Sadaqah    Truth, sincerity    Give as proof that your faith is real.
Zakah    To purify, to grow    Give to cleanse your wealth and create an environment where people can flourish.

Interest (Riba) — The Line in the Sand
      The prohibition of riba (interest/usury)

Interest is not trade. It is exploitation. Give it up. Forgive debts. That is the path of the believer.

Recording Debts — Writing and Witnesses
When you contract a debt for a specified term — write it down.
A scribe writes in justice — cannot refuse.
          The debtor dictates, fearing Allah.
Two witnesses — or one man and two women.
          Write even small debts.
Do not harm scribes or witnesses.
If traveling without a scribe — take a pledge (collateral). But trust is better.

Memory fails. Writing protects. Witnessing is a duty. Do not harm those who serve justice.

      Faith, Prayer, and the Promise
      The final three verses:
Verse 284: To Allah belongs everything. He will account for what you hide and what you show. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills.
Verse 285: The Messenger and the believers believe in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers — making no distinction. They say: "We hear and obey. Grant us forgiveness. To You is the return."

Verse 286: "Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity."

From 'Alif, Lam, Meem' to 'Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity' — Surah Al-Baqarah is a complete education in faith, failure, repentance, law, justice, trust, and the unbreakable promise that you will never be given a test you cannot bear.

  • DAY 495: Baqarah 284-286

    • To Allah ˹alone˺ belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Whether you reveal what is in your hearts or conceal it, Allah will call you to account for it. He forgives whoever He wills, and punishes whoever He wills. And Allah is Most Capable of everything. The Messenger ˹firmly˺ believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and so do the believers. They ˹all˺ believe in Allah, His angels, His Books, and His messengers. ˹They proclaim,˺ “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.” And they say, “We hear and obey. ˹We seek˺ Your forgiveness, our Lord! And to You ˹alone˺ is the final return.” Allah does not require of any soul more than what it can afford. All good will be for its own benefit, and all evil will be to its own loss. ˹The believers pray,˺ “Our Lord! Do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord! Do not place a burden on us like the one you placed on those before us. Our Lord! Do not burden us with what we cannot bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our ˹only˺ Guardian. So grant us victory over the disbelieving people.”
      (
284    To Allah belongs everything — He will account for what is hidden and shown. He forgives whom He wills, punishes whom He wills.    You cannot hide from God. Every secret thought will be accounted. But His mercy is vast.
285    The Prophet and believers believe in Allah, angels, books, messengers — making no distinction. They say: "We hear and obey. Grant us forgiveness. To You is the return."    Faith is submission — not full understanding. "We hear and obey" is the believer's motto.
286 (promise)    Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity.    Your test was calibrated for you. You can bear it.
286 (responsibility)    For it is what it earned — against it is what it earned.    No one carries another's sin. You are responsible for you.
286 (prayer 1)    Do not take us to account for forgetting or making mistakes.    Honest mistakes are forgiven.
286 (prayer 2)    Do not lay on us a burden like those before us.    Islam is ease, not hardship.
286 (prayer 3)    Do not burden us with what we cannot bear.    Ask for what He already promised — humility.
286 (final plea)    Pardon us, forgive us, have mercy on us. You are our Protector. Give us victory.    After asking for mercy, ask for victory for truth.

To Allah belongs everything — He will account for what you hide and what you show; the Messenger and the believers say "We hear and obey," making no distinction between any of His messengers; and Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity — so ask for pardon, forgiveness, mercy, and victory, for He is your Protector and to Him is the final return.

  •

    DAY 494: Baqarah 282-283

    •  O believers! When you contract a loan for a fixed period of time, commit it to writing. Let the scribe maintain justice between the parties. The scribe should not refuse to write as Allah has taught them to write. They will write what the debtor dictates, bearing Allah in mind and not defrauding the debt. If the debtor is incompetent, weak, or unable to dictate, let their guardian dictate for them with justice. Call upon two of your men to witness. If two men cannot be found, then one man and two women of your choice will witness—so if one of the women forgets the other may remind her.1 The witnesses must not refuse when they are summoned. You must not be against writing ˹contracts˺ for a fixed period—whether the sum is small or great. This is more just ˹for you˺ in the sight of Allah, and more convenient to establish evidence and remove doubts. However, if you conduct an immediate transaction among yourselves, then there is no need for you to record it, but call upon witnesses when a deal is finalized. Let no harm come to the scribe or witnesses. If you do, then you have gravely exceeded ˹your limits˺. Be mindful of Allah, for Allah ˹is the One Who˺ teaches you. And Allah has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of all things. If you are on a journey and a scribe cannot be found, then a security can be taken. If you trust one another, then ˹there is no need for a security, but˺ the debtor should honour this trust ˹by repaying the debt˺—and let them fear Allah, their Lord. And do not conceal the testimony, for whoever conceals it, their hearts are indeed sinful. And Allah ˹fully˺ knows what you do.
      (
Verse 282 is the longest single verse in the Quran. It is a comprehensive guide to recording debts in writing when you engage in transactions involving future payment. It covers who should write, who should dictate, who should witness, and the importance of justice in all financial dealings. Then verse 283 addresses situations where you are traveling and cannot find a scribe — in that case, a pledge (rahn) — collateral — can be taken.

These verses are about protecting rights and preventing disputes. They show that Islam is not just about spirituality — it is about building a just society where people's wealth and honor are protected.
Memory fades. People forget. People change. The written word protects both parties. It is not a sign of distrust — it is a sign of responsibility.
If you have a skill (writing, witnessing, mediating), you cannot refuse to help others establish justice. Withholding your skill when needed is a form of injustice.

282 (opening)    Write down all debts with specified terms
        Memory fails. Writing protects.
282 (scribe)    Scribe writes with justice, cannot refuse    Skills are trusts — use them for justice.
282 (dictation)    Debtor dictates, fearing Allah. Guardian dictates if debtor unable.    The one who owes speaks first. Honesty is commanded.
282 (witnesses)    Two men, or one man + two women. Witnesses cannot refuse.    Multiple witnesses ensure accuracy. Witnessing is a duty.
282 (exceptions)    Write even small debts. Immediate cash transaction no need to write — but take witnesses.    Small debts destroy relationships. Write them.
282 (no harm)    Do not harm scribes or witnesses. That is disobedience.    Protecting justice means protecting those who serve it.
283    On journey without scribe — take a pledge (collateral). But trust is better. Do not conceal testimony.    Collateral protects rights. Trust is better. Hiding testimony is a heart disease.

When you contract a debt, write it down with a scribe who writes in justice, let the debtor dictate honestly, bring two witnesses (or one man and two women), write even small debts, do not harm scribes or witnesses; if traveling, take a pledge — but trust is better; and never conceal testimony, for concealing it makes the heart sinful.

  • DAY 493: Baqarah 275-281

    •  Those who consume interest will stand ˹on Judgment Day˺ like those driven to madness by Satan’s touch. That is because they say, “Trade is no different than interest.” But Allah has permitted trading and forbidden interest. Whoever refrains—after having received warning from their Lord—may keep their previous gains, and their case is left to Allah. As for those who persist, it is they who will be the residents of the Fire. They will be there forever. Allah has made interest fruitless and charity fruitful. And Allah does not like any ungrateful evildoer. Surely those who believe and do good deeds, and establish Salāh (prayer) and pay Zakāh will have their reward with their Lord, and there is no fear for them, nor shall they grieve. O believers! Fear Allah, and give up outstanding interest if you are ˹true˺ believers. If you do not, then beware of a war with Allah and His Messenger! But if you repent, you may retain your principal—neither inflicting nor suffering harm. If it is difficult for someone to repay a debt, postpone it until a time of ease. And if you waive it as an act of charity, it will be better for you, if only you knew. Be mindful of the Day when you will ˹all˺ be returned to Allah, then every soul will be paid in full for what it has done, and none will be wronged.
      (
After the long section on infaq, sadaqah, and zakah (261–274), Allah now draws a sharp line between those who consume riba (interest/usury) and those who give charity. The verses describe those who deal in interest as acting like those who have been driven mad by Satan's touch — because the greed for endless increase destroys the soul. Then Allah commands believers to give up whatever remains of interest if they truly believe. And the section ends with a terrifying warning: fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah, and every soul will be paid in full for what it earned — and no one will be wronged.

275    Interest consumers rise like madmen on Judgment Day. Trade is permitted, interest forbidden.    Greed is madness. Trade shares risk. Interest shifts all risk to the weak.
276    Allah destroys interest and grows charity    The math of this world is not Allah's math.
277    Believers + deeds + prayer + zakah = no fear, no grief    The secure path is faith and action, not endless accumulation.
278–279    Give up remaining interest — otherwise war with Allah and His Messenger    This is not a suggestion. It is a declaration of war. Repent and keep your principal.
280    If debtor is in hardship, postpone. Forgiving the debt as charity is better.    Mercy is better than collection. Forgiveness is better than interest.
281    Fear the Day you return to Allah — every soul paid in full, no one wronged    On that Day, your loan agreements will not save you.

Those who consume interest will rise on Judgment Day like madmen — because they said trade is like interest, but Allah permitted trade and forbidden interest; He destroys interest and grows charity; so give up what remains of interest, or declare war with Allah; if the debtor is in hardship, postpone or forgive; and fear a Day when every soul will be paid in full for what it earned, and no one will be wronged.

  • DAY 492: Baqarah 261-274

    •  The example of those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah is that of a grain that sprouts into seven ears, each bearing one hundred grains. And Allah multiplies ˹the reward even more˺ to whoever He wills. For Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing. Those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah and do not follow their charity with reminders of their generosity or hurtful words—they will get their reward from their Lord, and there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve. Kind words and forgiveness are better than charity followed by injury. And Allah is Self-Sufficient, Most Forbearing. O believers! Do not waste your charity with reminders ˹of your generosity˺ or hurtful words, like those who donate their wealth just to show off and do not believe in Allah or the Last Day. Their example is that of a hard barren rock covered with a thin layer of soil hit by a strong rain—leaving it just a bare stone. Such people are unable to preserve the reward of their charity. Allah does not guide ˹such˺ disbelieving people. And the example of those who donate their wealth, seeking Allah’s pleasure and believing the reward is certain,1 is that of a garden on a fertile hill: when heavy rain falls, it yields up twice its normal produce. If no heavy rain falls, a drizzle is sufficient. And Allah is All-Seeing of what you do. Would any of you wish to have a garden with palm trees, grapevines, and all kinds of fruits with rivers flowing underneath and as they grow very old with dependent children, a fiery whirlwind hits the garden, burning it all up? This is how Allah makes His revelations clear to you, so perhaps you will reflect. O believers! Donate from the best of what you have earned and of what We have produced for you from the earth. Do not pick out worthless things for donation, which you yourselves would only accept with closed eyes. And know that Allah is Self-Sufficient, Praiseworthy. The Devil threatens you with ˹the prospect of˺ poverty and bids you to the shameful deed ˹of stinginess˺, while Allah promises you forgiveness and ˹great˺ bounties from Him. And Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing. He grants wisdom to whoever He wills. And whoever is granted wisdom is certainly blessed with a great privilege. But none will be mindful ˹of this˺ except people of reason. Whatever charities you give or vows you make are surely known to Allah. And the wrongdoers will have no helpers. To give charity publicly is good, but to give to the poor privately is better for you, and will absolve you of your sins. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do. You are not responsible for people’s guidance ˹O Prophet˺—it is Allah Who guides whoever He wills. Whatever you ˹believers˺ spend in charity, it is for your own good—as long as you do so seeking the pleasure of Allah.1 Whatever you donate will be paid back to you in full, and you will not be wronged. ˹Charity is˺ for the needy who are too engaged in the cause of Allah to move about in the land ˹for work˺. Those unfamiliar with their situation will think they are not in need ˹of charity˺ because they do not beg. You can recognize them by their appearance. They do not beg people persistently. Whatever you give in charity is certainly well known to Allah. Those who spend their wealth in charity day and night, secretly and openly—their reward is with their Lord, and there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve.
      (
After the stories of resurrection and divine power (258–260), Allah now turns to charity — how to give, how not to give, and the immense reward for those who spend sincerely. These verses contain some of the most famous parables in the Quran: a grain that grows seven ears, each with a hundred grains; a garden on a hilltop destroyed by a storm; and the promise that Allah knows what is in your hearts even if you give secretly.
This section is about investment — not in stocks or property, but in the Hereafter. And the return is beyond imagination.
You can build a perfect life — wealth, family, security. Then, in a moment — a fire, a flood, a market crash, a sudden death — it is gone. And you are old, too weak to start over. The lesson: do not rely on your garden. Plant something that no whirlwind can burn. Plant for the Hereafter.
Do not give what you would throw away. Do not give expired food, broken items, worthless things — and think you have done charity. You would not accept such a gift. Allah is not a beggar. He does not need your trash. Give what is good. Give what you would want for yourself.
---You cannot truly give until you believe in resurrection. If this is the only life, giving is loss. If there is another life, giving is investment. Verses 258–260 proved resurrection. Now: give.
---You cannot give until you trust Allah's provision. The same God who raised birds from scattered parts (260) can replace what you spend. Verse 268 says: Satan threatens poverty — Allah promises bounty. Choose.
---You cannot truly give until you know what giving means. It is not a percentage. It is not a tax. It is spending what you love, what you need, trusting the Provider, purifying your soul, and proving your truth.
The example of those who spend in the way of Allah is like a grain that grows 700 grains — so give from good things, not garbage, without reminders or injury, not for show, but with sincerity; Satan threatens poverty while Allah promises forgiveness and bounty; secret charity is best, and constant giving by night and day removes fear and grief — for their reward is with their Lord.

  • DAY 491: Baqarah 258-260

    •  Are you ˹O Prophet˺ not aware of the one who argued with Abraham about his Lord because Allah had granted him kingship? ˹Remember˺ when Abraham said, “My Lord is the One Who has power to give life and cause death.” He argued, “I too have the power to give life and cause death.” Abraham challenged ˹him˺, “Allah causes the sun to rise from the east. So make it rise from the west.” And so the disbeliever was dumbstruck. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. Or ˹are you not aware of˺ the one who passed by a city which was in ruins. He wondered, “How could Allah bring this back to life after its destruction?” So Allah caused him to die for a hundred years then brought him back to life. Allah asked, “How long have you remained ˹in this state˺?” He replied, “Perhaps a day or part of a day.” Allah said, “No! You have remained here for a hundred years! Just look at your food and drink—they have not spoiled. ˹But now˺ look at ˹the remains of˺ your donkey! And ˹so˺ We have made you into a sign for humanity. And look at the bones ˹of the donkey˺, how We bring them together then clothe them with flesh!”1 When this was made clear to him, he declared, “˹Now˺ I know that Allah is Most Capable of everything.” And ˹remember˺ when Abraham said, “My Lord! Show me how you give life to the dead.” Allah responded, “Do you not believe?” Abraham replied, “Yes I do, but just so my heart can be reassured.” Allah said, “Then bring four birds, train them to come to you, ˹then cut them into pieces,˺ and scatter them on different hilltops. Then call them back, they will fly to you in haste. And ˹so you will˺ know that Allah is Almighty, All-Wise.”
      (
After Ayat al-Kursi (255) — the magnificent declaration of Allah's sovereignty, knowledge, and power — and the declaration that there is no compulsion in religion (256) and that Allah is the ally of believers (257), Allah now gives three powerful stories:
--Abraham's debate with a tyrannical king who claimed to give life and death.
--The parable of the man who passed by a ruined city and wondered how Allah could bring it back to life — so Allah caused him to die for a hundred years and then raised him.
--The story of Abraham asking to see how Allah brings the dead to life — not out of doubt, but to satisfy his heart — and Allah shows him through four birds.
The man did not disbelieve — he wondered. And Allah showed him. Death is not the end. Time is relative — a hundred years felt like a day. Food and drink preserved — because Allah's power over creation is absolute. The donkey was bones; Allah showed him how bones are raised and covered with flesh. This is not magic — it is a sign. The man became certain: Allah is over all things competent. Doubt is not a sin — wondering is human. But certainty comes when Allah shows you.
A tyrant king claimed to give life and death, but was confounded when Abraham challenged him to change the sunrise; a man wondered how Allah could revive a ruined city, so Allah caused him to die for a hundred years, preserved his food, and raised his donkey's bones; and Abraham asked to see resurrection not out of doubt but for heart ease — and Allah showed him through four birds scattered on hills that came when called.

13 Mayıs 2026 Çarşamba

  • DAY 490: Baqarah 253-257

    •  We have chosen some of those messengers above others. Allah spoke directly to some, and raised some high in rank. To Jesus, son of Mary, We gave clear proofs and supported him with the holy spirit. If Allah had willed, succeeding generations would not have fought ˹among themselves˺ after receiving the clear proofs. But they differed—some believed while others disbelieved. Yet if Allah had willed, they would not have fought one another. But Allah does what He wills. O believers! Donate from what We have provided for you before the arrival of a Day when there will be no bargaining, friendship, or intercession. Those who disbelieve are ˹truly˺ the wrongdoers. Allah! There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him, the Ever-Living, All-Sustaining. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who could possibly intercede with Him without His permission? He ˹fully˺ knows what is ahead of them and what is behind them, but no one can grasp any of His knowledge—except what He wills ˹to reveal˺. His Kursiyy encompasses the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of both does not tire Him. For He is the Most High, the Greatest. Let there be no compulsion in religion, for the truth stands out clearly from falsehood.1 So whoever renounces false gods and believes in Allah has certainly grasped the firmest, unfailing hand-hold. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. Allah is the Guardian of the believers—He brings them out of darkness and into light. As for the disbelievers, their guardians are false gods who lead them out of light and into darkness. It is they who will be the residents of the Fire. They will be there forever.
      (
After the historical lessons of Talut, Jalut, and David (243–252), Allah now reminds us that some messengers were preferred over others — but all were sent with the same core truth. Then He declares His absolute authority: "Allah — there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all." Then comes one of the most famous verses in the Quran — Ayat al-Kursi (The Throne Verse) — a magnificent description of Allah's power, knowledge, and sovereignty. Then a warning about those who worship false gods, and the beautiful promise: "Allah is the ally of those who believe — He brings them out of darkness into light."
Today is the day to act. Tomorrow, there will be no transactions. Your money will not buy you out. Your friends will not save you. Even intercessors will have no power unless God grants it. So spend now. Give now. Act now. The ones who refuse — they are the ones who wrong themselves.
This is the heart of Islamic theology. God is not a tired king resting on his throne. He is Ever-Living, Self-Sustaining. He never sleeps. He never needs a break. He knows everything — past, present, future. No one can speak for anyone else without His permission. His authority covers everything. And running the entire universe does not tire Him. This is the God you call on. This is the God who is near (2:186). And He is Most High, Most Great.
Ayat al-Kursi is memorized by millions of Muslims. It is recited for protection, for reflection, for grounding. It is the Quran's most powerful statement of who Allah is.

Some messengers were preferred over others — but people fought out of ego, not truth; spend now before the Day when no transaction or intercession helps; Allah is Ever-Living, Self-Sustaining, never sleeps, His Throne encompasses all; there is no compulsion in religion — reject false gods and believe in Allah to grasp the unbreakable handhold; for Allah is the ally of believers, bringing them from darkness to light, while the allies of disbelievers drag them from light into darkness.

12 Mayıs 2026 Salı

  • DAY 489: Baqarah 243-252

    •  Have you ˹O Prophet˺ not seen those who fled their homes in the thousands for fear of death? Allah said to them, “Die!” then He gave them life. Surely Allah is ever Bountiful to humanity, but most people are ungrateful. Fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.  Who will lend to Allah a good loan which Allah will multiply many times over? It is Allah ˹alone˺ who decreases and increases ˹wealth˺. And to Him you will ˹all˺ be returned. Have you not seen those chiefs of the Children of Israel after Moses? They said to one of their prophets, “Appoint for us a king, ˹and˺ we will fight in the cause of Allah.” He said, “Are you not going to cower if ordered to fight?” They replied, “How could we refuse to fight in the cause of Allah, while we were driven out of our homes and ˹separated from˺ our children?” But when they were ordered to fight, they fled, except for a few of them. And Allah has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of the wrongdoers. Their prophet told them, “Allah has appointed Tālūt (Saul) to be your king.” They protested, “How can he be our king when some of us are more deserving of kingship than he, and he has not been blessed with vast riches?” He replied, “Allah has chosen him over you and blessed him with knowledge and stature. Allah grants kingship to whoever He wills. And Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.”  Their prophet further told them, “The sign of Saul’s kingship is that the Ark will come to you—containing reassurance from your Lord and relics of the family of Moses and the family of Aaron, which will be carried by the angels. Surely in this is a sign for you, if you ˹truly˺ believe.” When Saul marched forth with his army, he cautioned: “Allah will test you with a river. So whoever drinks ˹his fill˺ from it is not with me, and whoever does not taste it—except a sip from the hollow of his hands—is definitely with me.” They all drank ˹their fill˺ except for a few! When he and the ˹remaining˺ faithful with him crossed the river, they said, “Now we are no match for Goliath and his warriors.” But those ˹believers˺ who were certain they would meet Allah reasoned, “How many times has a small force vanquished a mighty army by the Will of Allah! And Allah is ˹always˺ with the steadfast.” When they advanced to face Goliath and his warriors, they prayed, “Our Lord! Shower us with perseverance, make our steps firm, and give us victory over the disbelieving people.” So they defeated them by Allah’s Will, and David killed Goliath. And Allah blessed David with kingship and wisdom and taught him what He willed. Had Allah not repelled a group of people by ˹the might of˺ another, corruption would have dominated the earth, but Allah is Gracious to all. These are Allah’s revelations which We recite to you ˹O Prophet˺ in truth. And you are truly one of the messengers.
      (
This is a powerful, dramatic section about leaving homes in fear of death, the story of Talut (Saul) and Jalut (Goliath), and the kingship of David
After the detailed rules about marriage, divorce, and family (226–242), Allah now turns to historical lessons about faith, courage, and trust in Him. He gives the story of thousands who fled their homes fearing death — and Allah commanded them to live. Then the famous story of Talut, a king chosen not for wealth or lineage but for knowledge and physical strength. Then the confrontation with Jalut (Goliath), where a small band of believers led by a young David defeated a mighty army.
These verses are about trusting Allah against all odds, and the principle that victory comes from Him, not from numbers or resources.
It is easy to talk about fighting. It is hard to actually fight. The Children of Israel begged for a king and for battle — but when the time came, they ran. This is human nature. Talk is cheap. Action is expensive. And Allah knows who is sincere and who is just talking.
People judge leaders by wealth and lineage. Allah judges by knowledge and capability. Talut was not rich. He was not from the noble family. But he had wisdom and strength. And that was enough. Allah does not choose the way humans choose.
The test was small — just a river. But most failed. Self-discipline is rare. And even after passing, the believers were afraid — they saw the enormous army of Jalut. But the wise among them said: Numbers don't matter. Victory comes from Allah. And He is with those who are patient.
The small, disciplined, patient group defeated the large, arrogant army. A young man — David — killed the giant. God gave him kingship and wisdom. And the principle is eternal: God uses some people to stop others. Otherwise, corruption would cover the earth. Justice requires a sword.

You cannot outrun death, so do not let fear stop you from justice; lend Allah a goodly loan and He will multiply it; the Children of Israel begged for a king then ran, but Allah chose Talut for knowledge and stature — not wealth; a small band of patient believers defeated a mighty army by Allah's permission, and David killed Jalut and was given kingship and wisdom; for if Allah did not check some people by others, the earth would be corrupted.

      )
