• DAY 395: Noah 19-28

   And Allah ˹alone˺ spread out the earth for you to walk along its spacious pathways.’” ˹Eventually,˺ Noah cried, “My Lord! They have certainly persisted in disobeying me, and followed ˹instead˺ those ˹elite˺ whose ˹abundant˺ wealth and children only increase them in loss, and who have devised a tremendous plot, urging ˹their followers˺, ‘Do not abandon your idols—especially Wadd, Suwâ’, Yaghûth, Ya’ûq, and Nasr. Those ˹elite˺ have already led many astray. So ˹O Lord˺, only allow the wrongdoers to stray farther away.” So because of their sins, they were drowned, then admitted into the Fire. And they found none to help them against Allah.
  Noah had prayed, “My Lord! Do not leave a single disbeliever on earth. If You leave them (surviving), they will lead Your servants astray, and will beget none but a sinful disbeliever. My Lord! Forgive me, my parents, and whoever enters my house in faith, and ˹all˺ believing men and women. And increase the wrongdoers only in destruction.”

      The Limit of Patience: Even a prophet's patience has a divinely-sanctioned limit. When a people become actively conspiratorial and a source of widespread, perpetual misguidance, prayer for their removal becomes an act of justice.
      The Social Power of Falsehood: Disbelief is shown not just as a personal choice, but as a social conspiracy enforced by leaders, tradition, and peer pressure ("Never leave your gods...").
      Dual Outcome of Prayer: The prophetic prayer is selective and just. It seeks total destruction for incorrigible falsehood and complete protection and forgiveness for sincere faith. This separates the two camps absolutely.
      Divine Response: Allah answers both parts of Nuh's prayer: the disbelievers are obliterated, and the believers in the Ark are saved. It establishes a precedent in the Qur'an: when a prophetic du'a is made against a people after clear proof, it is a point of no return.
      The Moral Justification: The punishment is never arbitrary. It is because they "misled many" and would only beget more corruption. The prayer is for the greater good of belief and human potential on Earth.
   
      When persistent rejection hardens into a conspiracy that corrupts all future generations, the prophetic prayer shifts from seeking guidance for the people to seeking their removal and protection for the faithful, invoking divine justice.
