•  Neticede, Karun'u da , sarayını da yerin dibine geçirdik! Allah(cc)'a karşı kendisine yardım edebilecek ne bir kişi buldu, ne de serveti onu kurtardı!.
  Daha düne kadar onun yerinde olmak isteyenler:' Vay canına! Meğer Allah(cc) rızkı dilediğine bol verir, dilediğine ise kısar ölçülü verirmiş! Allah(cc) bize lütfuyla muamele etmemiş olsaydı, bizi de çoktan yerin dibine geçirmişti! Demekk ki hakkı inkar edenler iflah olmazmış!' dediler.
  (Eski Ahid'te anlatılana göre; Karun'un yerin dibine geçtiğini gören halk, çığlık çığlığa kaçıyor ve :'Kaçın yer bizi de yutacak' diye bağırıyor.
