• DAY 141: A'raf 119-126

   So Pharaoh and his people were defeated right there and put to shame. And the magicians fell down, prostrating. They declared, “We ˹now˺ believe in the Lord of all worlds— the Lord of Moses and Aaron.” Pharaoh threatened, “How dare you believe in him before I give you permission? This must be a conspiracy you devised in the city to drive out its people, but soon you will see. I will certainly cut off your hands and feet because of [your] perverseness, then crucify you all.” They responded, “Surely to our Lord we will ˹all˺ return. Your rage towards us is only because we believed in the signs of our Lord when they came to us. Our Lord! Shower us with perseverance, and let us die while submitting ˹to You˺.”

  Highlight divine power, the sincerity of repentant hearts, and Pharaoh’s tyrannical arrogance
      Defeat of the Magicians
          The magicians, who had initially supported Pharaoh, witnessed the miracle of Musa’s staff swallowing their illusions.      Realizing the truth, they immediately prostrated in submission to Allah, acknowledging His supremacy.
      Declaration of Faith
          The magicians openly declared belief in "the Lord of Musa and Harun (Aaron)", rejecting Pharaoh’s false divinity.   This was a direct challenge to Pharaoh’s authority, as his own elite supporters turned against him.
      Pharaoh’s Tyrannical Response
          Enraged, Pharaoh accused them of conspiracy and threatened brutal punishment:  Cutting off hands and feet (a form of mutilation).
       Crucifixion (a public execution method to instill fear).
          His reaction exposed his arrogance and refusal to accept the truth despite clear evidence.
      Magicians’ Courageous Reply
          The magicians, now firm believers, responded with unshakable faith:     They accepted that they would return to Allah (acknowledging life after death).     They understood Pharaoh’s punishment was due to their faith, not any crime.    Their final prayer was for steadfastness and a death as submissive Muslims.    
                 
      Truth Prevails: Falsehood (like magic) is temporary, while divine truth is eternal.
      Courage in Faith: The magicians chose truth over power, even at the cost of their lives.
      Tyranny’s Weakness: Pharaoh’s threats revealed his insecurity, not strength.
      Power of Du’a (Supplication): The believers’ prayer for patience and a righteous death is a model for all Muslims facing oppression.
  
  Truth triumphs over falsehood, and  firm determination on faith in Allah defeats even the most oppressive tyranny.
