  • DAY 49: Facr 1-13

    •  By the dawn, and the ten nights, and the even and the odd, and the night when it passes! Is all this ˹not˺ a sufficient oath for those who have sense? Did you not see how your Lord dealt with Ȃd ? ˹the people˺ of Iram—with ˹their˺ great  lofty pillars, unmatched in any other land; and Thamûd who carved ˹their homes into˺ the rocks in the ˹Stone˺ Valley; and the Pharaoh of mighty structures? They all transgressed throughout the land, spreading much corruption there. So your Lord unleashed on them a scourge of punishment.
      (
Divine Oaths: Allah swears by natural phenomena (dawn, night, even and odd) to draw attention to His signs in the universe.

Historical Lessons: The destruction of 'Aad, Thamud, and Pharaoh serves as a warning to humanity about the consequences of arrogance, oppression, and rejecting divine guidance.

Reflection and Perception: The verses encourage people to reflect on the signs of Allah and learn from the fate of past civilizations.

Divine Justice: Allah's punishment of these nations underscores His justice and the inevitability of accountability.
