• DAY 244: Isra 78-87

   Observe the prayer from the decline of the sun until the darkness of the night and the dawn prayer, for certainly the dawn prayer is witnessed ˹by angels˺. And rise at ˹the last˺ part of the night, offering additional prayers, so your Lord may raise you to a station of praise. And say, “My Lord! Grant me an honourable entrance and an honourable exit and give me a supporting authority from Yourself.” And declare, “The truth has come and falsehood has vanished. Indeed, falsehood is bound to vanish.” We send down the Quran as a healing and mercy for the believers, but it only increases the wrongdoers in loss. When We grant people Our favours, they turn away, acting arrogantly. But when touched with evil, they lose all hope. Say; “Everyone acts in their own way. But your Lord knows best whose way is rightly guided.” They ask you ˹O Prophet˺ about the spirit. Say, “Its nature is known only to my Lord, and you ˹O humanity˺ have been given but little knowledge.” If We willed, We could have certainly taken away what We have revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺—then you would find none to guarantee its return from Us— had it not been for the mercy of your Lord. Indeed, His favour upon you is immense.

      The Treatment: The healing and mercy of the Quran.
      The Regimen: The disciplined routine of the five daily prayers and optional night vigil.
      The Mindset: Confidence in the victory of truth and humility before divine knowledge.
      The Goal: A righteous life that leads to the highest station in the Hereafter.
   So,
      The Anchor: The prescribed prayers structure the day in remembrance of Allah.
      The Ascent: The optional night prayer is a means of spiritual elevation.
      The Supplication: A prayer for a righteous life and divine support.
      The Mindset: Confidence in the ultimate victory of truth.
      The Medicine: The Quran as a source of healing and mercy for the heart.
      The Humility: An acknowledgment of the Quran's divine, inimitable nature and the limits of human knowledge, fostering complete dependence on Allah's mercy.
      
      The believer's spiritual toolkit: establishing daily prayers and seeking nightly devotion as acts of discipline, relying on the Quran as a healing mercy for the heart, and humbly acknowledging that its divine origin is a gift of grace, not something any human power could ever produce or retain.
