• DAY 370: Kahf 26-31

   Say, “Allah knows best how long they stayed. To Him belongs the unseen of the heavens and the earth - how well He sees and how well He hears! They have no supporter other than Him and He lets no one share His authority.” And recite what has been revealed to you of the Book of your Lord. There is no one to change His words, and you will never find a refuge beside Him. Keep yourself content with those who call their Lord morning and evening, seeking His pleasure, and let not your eyes overlook them, seeking the splendor of the worldly life. And do not obey the one whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance, and who has followed his desire and whose behavior has exceeded the limits. And say, “The truth is from your Lord. Now, whoever so wills may believe and whoever so wills may deny.”
  Surely, We have prepared for the unjust a fire, whose tent will envelop them. And if they will beg for help, they shall be helped with water like oily dregs that will scald the faces. Vile is the drink, and evil is the Fire as a resting-place.
  As for those who believe and do righteous deeds,-of course, We do not waste the reward of those who are good in deeds. Those are the ones for whom there are eternal gardens, rivers flowing beneath them. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold, and they will be dressed in green garments, made of fine silk and thick silk, reclining therein on couches. Excellent is the reward and beautiful is the Paradise as a resting-place.

      From Story to Sovereign: The focus shifts from the sign (the Cave) to the Author of all signs (Allah, the Knower of the Unseen).
      The Two Paths Made Explicit: The story illustrated faith vs. disbelief in narrative form; these verses state the eternal outcomes in doctrinal form: Hellfire for the wrongdoers (the unjust disbelievers), and Eternal Gardens for the believers who do good.
      Practical Guidance for the Prophet (and Believers): The command to stay with the sincere, humble believers and shun the seekers of worldly glitter is a direct application of the story's lesson. Like the Youths of the Cave, the believers must choose their company based on faith, not worldly status.
      Closure of the First Cycle: Verses 1-8 introduced the themes of warning/good news and the world as a test. Verses 9-25 provided a narrative proof. Verses 26-31 now return to the doctrinal conclusions, affirming Allah's sovereignty, human choice, and the ultimate, inescapable consequences, thus completing the first major argument of the surah with resounding finality.
      
      Allah alone possesses absolute knowledge of all things, and His unchangeable decree presents humanity with a free yet consequential choice—to believe and strive for His Countenance, earning eternal Gardens, or to reject and follow desire, destined for a Fire from which there is no refuge besides Him.
