• DAY 386: Nahl 77-82

   To Allah belongs the Unseen of the heavens and the earth; and the matter of Hour (of Judgment) is no more than of twinkling of the eye, or even quicker. Of course, Allah is powerful over everything. Allah has brought you forth from your mothers’ wombs when you knew nothing, and He made for you ears, eyes and hearts, so that you may be grateful. Did they not look at the birds how they are controlled in the atmosphere of the sky? No one holds them but Allah. Surely, in that there are signs for a people who believe. Allah has made your houses a place of comfort for you, and made for you houses from the hides of cattle, which you find so light on the day you travel and the day you camp, and out of their wool and their fur and their hair (He created) furnishings and goods of enjoyment for a period of time. Allah has made for your benefit shades from what He has created, and made for you shelters in the mountains, and made for you shirts that protect you from heat, and shirts that protect you in your battles. This is how He perfects His favor upon you, so that you may submit. If they still turn away, then, your responsibility is only to convey the message clearly.

      From the Seen to the Unseen: The argument culminates by asserting Allah's authority over both dimensions. If He controls the hidden realm of the Hour and the soul, His lordship over the visible world is a given.
      The Basis of All Human Attainment: Knowledge and perception are stripped of any basis for pride. They are divine gifts meant for a specific purpose: to lead to gratitude, not self-deification.
      Mercy in Daily Life: Blessings are not only grand (stars, seas) but also intimate and practical (homes, tents, clothing), showing Allah's care for both our grandeur and our mundane needs.
      Clarification of Prophetic Role: The surah definitively states the limit of the Prophet's duty: clear transmission, not coercion. This places the full weight of responsibility on the audience.
      The Finality of Rejection: After the cascade of evidence, turning away is not due to a lack of proof, but to a willful, arrogant choice. The argument is now complete; what remains is the enactment of the warned-about consequences.
      
      The entire cosmos, your own body, your social relations, and your fleeting life are a unified system of signs pointing to a single, merciful, all-powerful Creator. To worship anything else is not just wrong; it is a illogical denial of reality and the ultimate ingratitude, guaranteeing ruin. Belief, gratitude, and worship of Allah alone are the only rational and fulfilling responses.
     
      Allah's control over all reality (seen and unseen), the gifted nature of human faculties, His mercy in our daily lives, and the conclusive clarity of the message. With this, the duty of the Messenger is fulfilled, and the fate of the rejecters is sealed by their own conscious decision.
