    DAY 435: Naba 1-16

What are they asking one another about? About the momentous news, over which they disagree. But no! They will come to know. Again, no! They will come to know. Have We not smoothed out the earth ˹like a bed˺, and ˹made˺ the mountains as ˹its˺ pegs, and created you in pairs, and made your sleep for rest, and made the night as a cover, and made the day for livelihood, and built above you seven mighty ˹heavens˺, and placed ˹in them˺ a shining lamp, and sent down from rainclouds pouring water, producing by it grain and ˹various˺ plants, and dense orchards?
    (
The Premise: You (the skeptics) dispute the "Great News" of the resurrection.
        The Evidence:
Look at the world you live in. Do you not see a perfect, intricate, and life-sustaining system?
            An earth made habitable.
            Mountains providing stability.
            The creation of pairs.
The cycle of night for rest and day for work.
            The majestic seven heavens.
            The blazing sun.
The life-giving rain that produces your food and gardens.

        The Conclusion:
The One who created this entire magnificent universe and sustains it with such precision is surely capable of resurrecting the dead. The power that brought life from the earth the first time can certainly bring it forth again. The God who provides for you in this life will not abandon you to nothingness after death. The signs are clear; the "Great News" is not a fantasy, but a reality foreshadowed by the world you experience every single day
The elaborate descriptions of the Earth, sky, and life-giving rain in verses 1-16 are not just poetry, but irrefutable evidence that the same God who so perfectly designed and sustains this complex world is absolutely capable of resurrecting the dead for the "Great News" of the Hereafter.
