  •  Have you not seen those who claim they believe in what has been revealed to you and what was revealed before you? They seek the judgment of false judges, which they were commanded to reject. And Satan ˹only˺ desires to lead them farther away. When it is said to them, “Come to Allah’s revelations and to the Messenger,” you see the hypocrites turn away from you stubbornly. How ˹horrible˺ will it be if a disaster strikes them because of what their hands have done, then they come to you swearing by Allah, “We intended nothing but goodwill and reconciliation.” ˹Only˺ Allah knows what is in their hearts. So turn away from them, caution them, and give them advice that will shake their very souls. We only sent messengers to be obeyed by Allah’s Will. If only those ˹hypocrites˺ came to you —after wronging themselves—seeking Allah’s forgiveness and the Messenger prayed for their forgiveness, they would have certainly found Allah ever Accepting of Repentance, Most Merciful. But no! By your Lord, they will never be ˹true˺ believers until they accept you ˹O Prophet˺ as the judge in their disputes, and find no resistance within themselves against your decision and submit wholeheartedly. If We had commanded them to sacrifice themselves or abandon their homes, none would have obeyed except for a few. Had they done what they were advised to do,¹ it would have certainly been far better for them and more reassuring, and We would have granted them a great reward by Our grace and guided them to the Straight Path. And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger will be in the company of those blessed by Allah: the prophets, the people of truth, the martyrs, and the righteous—what honourable company! This is Allah’s favour, and Allah fully knows ˹who deserves it˺.

Then it lays out the real standard of faith—submission to the Prophet's judgment without hesitation, and ends with the ultimate reward for those who truly obey.(After covering family, marriage, inheritance, and conflict resolution, God now expands the circle of responsibility to everyone in society—especially the most vulnerable, the overlooked, and the marginalized.)
    60    Hypocrites claim faith but seek judgment from taghut (false authorities)    Your actions reveal your faith. Running to corrupt systems is hypocrisy.
    61    When called to the Quran and the Prophet, they turn away in disgust    Resistance to divine guidance with arrogance is a sign of hypocrisy.
    62    When disaster hits, they come back with excuses and oaths    Hypocrites always have excuses. They never admit they were wrong.
    63    God knows their hearts; turn away, admonish, and speak penetrating words    Don't argue forever. Speak the truth clearly and walk away.
    64    Obeying the Prophet is obeying God; forgiveness comes through humility    The path to forgiveness is admitting wrong and seeking mercy.
    65    True faith means submitting to the Prophet's judgment without discomfort    This is the ultimate test: do you accept God's ruling even when it hurts?
    66    If God gave a hard command, few would obey; but even simple obedience strengthens faith    Faith is built through consistent submission, even in small things.
    67    Obedience brings great reward from God    The more you obey, the more God gives you.
    68    Obedience leads to the straight path    Clarity comes from submission.
    69    Obedience earns companionship with prophets, the truthful, martyrs, and the righteous    Your goal should be to be in their company.
    The four groups:
        Prophets (Anbiya): The highest rank—those who received revelation.
        The Truthful (Siddiqin): Those who fully believed and lived the truth (like the Prophet's closest companions).
        Martyrs (Shuhada): Those who died in the path of God.
        The Righteous (Salihin): The good, pious people of all eras.    
    70    This is God's bounty; He knows who truly deserves it    Be grateful—everything good comes from Him.
    
    True faith means submitting to God’s judgment without resentment—not running to false authorities—because obedience leads to reward, guidance, and the honor of standing with the prophets and the righteous in the Hereafter.
