DAY 457: Mutaffifin 1 -17
- Woe to the defrauders! Those who take
full measure ˹when they buy˺ from people, but give less when they
measure or weigh for buyers. Do such people not think that they will be
resurrected for a tremendous Day— the Day ˹all˺ people will stand before
the Lord of all worlds? But no! The wicked are certainly bound for
Sijjîn ˹in the depths of Hell˺— and what will make you realize what
Sijjîn is?— a fate ˹already˺ sealed. Woe on that Day to the
deniers— those who deny Judgment Day! None would deny it except every
evildoing transgressor. Whenever Our revelations are recited to them,
they say, “Ancient fables!” But no! In fact, their hearts have been
stained by all ˹the evil˺ they used to commit! Undoubtedly, they will be
sealed off from their Lord on that Day. Moreover, they will surely burn
in Hell, and then be told, “This is what you used to deny.”
(
1. The Cheaters (1–3): Woe to those who demand full measure for themselves but give less to others.
2. The Big Day (4–6): They forgot they're standing before God on a Day of Judgment.
3. The Dungeon File (7–9): Their deeds are locked in Sijjeen—a deep prison registry.
4. Rusty Hearts (10–14): They call the Quran "fairy tales." Sin has rusted their hearts solid (Raan).
5. The Block & The Fire (15–17): They'll be veiled from God's mercy and told, "This is the fairy tale you laughed at."
Don't shortchange others in this life unless you're ready to be shortchanged out of seeing God in the next.
