Saffat 27-33:

•  Birbirlerine yönelip, söz duellosuna girişirler.
  Bir kısmı şöyle diyecek:' Siz bizi, ayartmak amacıyla, haktan yana görünerek bize yaklaşırdınız!'.
  Diğerleri:' Hayır! ne münasebet!. Asıl sizin iman etmeye niyetiniz yoktu. Hem bizim sizi zorluyacak bir gücümüz de yoktu. Siz kendiniz azgın ve isyankar bir guruhtunuz(طَٰغِينَ)'.
  Ve ekleyecekler:' Ne desek boş!.Artık Rabbimizin azap hükmü hakkımızda kesinleşti. Biz hakkettiğimiz cezayı mutlaka tadacağız. Evet, sizi biz kışkırttık, çünkü biz de azmış durumdaydık'.
  Madem öyle, o gün azabı hepbirlikte çekeceklerdir.
  (
  طغَیٰ “ ” (tagha): to be out of limits, this is why flooding of a river water which comes out of its banks is called “ طغُْياَنٌ ” (tughyaan).
  اَطْغَیٰ “ ” (atgha): made him cross the limit, or limit breaker, instigated him to mutiny, made him rebellious.
  الطاَّغِیْ “ ” (at-taaghi): one who goes out of limits and breaks the law. Plural is “ اَلطاَّغُوْنَ ” (at-taghoon) and الَطاَّغِيْنَ “ ” (at- taagheen).
  طغَيْۃَ “ٌ ” (taghya) is a mountain difficult to climb.
  طاَغيِۃَ “ٌ ” (taaghia): oppressive and proud, foolish and harsh. It also means severe lightning and dangerous
  storm.
  طغَوْیَٰ “ ” (taghwa) means rebelliousness and breaking the limits {T, M, Lisan-ul-Arab}.
  طاَغوُتٌْ “ ” (taaghoot) has come from this, which is used for any limit breaker. It is also used for someone who detracts from the right path and puts on the wrong one {T, M, R}.
  Johri says it means “leader of the rebels”.
  Zajaaj says that anything aside from Allah’s system, if followed, is “ طاَغوُْتٌ ” (taghhoot), i.e. every system or law not based on the permanent values of the Quran.LUQ.
  
  Azgınlaşarak yoldan çıkmışlar ve onların peşinden öyle veya böyle gidenler, sebebi ne olursa olsun, günahını da beraber çekecekler. Ben bilmiyordum, beni kandırdılar vb. kabul edilebilir cevaplar değil!
